"Alright mother, you can leave now..." Pippin assured Celi, who lingered at the door. Never before had she left her sweet little boy too far out of her sight, and she was finding it slightly hard to do now. "Well, alright Pippin... as long as you'll be okay. Well of course you are, with your darling babysitter." she said with a light sigh of relief, at least he would be in good hands. "Have fun mother." he said as she stood by the door with Tony. "We won't be too late, and thank you so much Europa. I appreciate it."

"It's not a problem," Europa smiled, turning to face the couple from her seat on the couch. She was already in babysitter mode and watching kiddie-TV. "You two go have fun. Not too much fun."

"Thank you for your faith in me," Tony said with a little chuff of laughter, "Come, Celi. I promise you, they will be fine." He lead her outside and down the walk, opening the car door for her as they approached.

"Alright, Pip," Europa said once they had gone, taking care to lock the door, "What's on the agenda for tonight, huh? Scary movies? Board games? We got everything here."

Celi giggled, it was nice to see a child with a sense of humor. "Alright, we'll be off now then. Thank you so much again Europa." the woman said, smiling up at Tony as they walked out the door together.

Pippin looked deep in thought for a moment, "Hmm, we can play a game if you want. Or anything, I'm not picky. There's lots to do here though, we'll be fine." he admitted, looking shyly around the room. He knew he had a lot of things other kids didn't have, because his mother had a good amount of money.

"What's your favorite thing to do? We can do that I bet." he offered, wanting both of them to have a good time.

Europa raised her hand to bid the adults goodbye, and shifted to look at Pippin. She hadn't been expecting a decisive boy out of him, so it came as no surprise that he as asking her what she wanted to do.

"It's really up to you, little man," she said, smiling at the boy. She could still remember the first time they'd met. How cute he'd been! "What do you wanna do, huh? It's supposed to be a clear night. We could even do something outside." She would be adverse to a camp-out, herself, but it was a bit too late for sports.

Tony smiled back at the young woman and did not move from her side until she was safely in the car. He took up the driver's position then and backed into the street. A part of him felt like he was going on an assignment, rather than a date. Maybe it would be easier to think of it that way.

"I'm glad you're coming with me, Celi," he offered a bit awkwardly, "I very much enjoy your company."

Pippin sat in a chair and rested his head in his hands, thinking. After a moment he nodded to himself, "Alright, let's go outside then. It's pretty nice out and stuff too, so it should be fun." he was a relatively chill child, so the prospect seemed fine in his mind. And anyways, the idea obviously appealed to Europa so it would be nice.

Standing up Pippin pushed up his glasses and straightened his shirt. He through the house to a back room that had a nice porch and a sliding glass door that led to the large backyard. "Coming?" he asked with a smile, looking back at his friend, beginning to slide the door already.

"You don't have to wear shoes if you don't want to, our grass is soft." he said, though he was sure that was rather random. "I mean, we have a good gardener and stuff. But ya can wear shoes if ya want still." He began to take his own off, feeling rather comfortable in his own home.

-----

Celi's cheeks flushed lightly, feeling flattered at how Tony always acted towards her. "Why thank you! You're very sweet." she said as he accompanied her to the car. Once they were both in she smiled gently, listening to his sweet words.

"Of course, there's nowhere I'd rather be." she knew he would understand what she meant, of course she wanted to be with Pippin. The term meant something along the lines of 'nowhere I'd rather be except for with my child'. But she really did mean it, and was perfectly happy with her decision to let him stay with Eurie. "I enjoy your company too~! It took us too long to do this."

"You have a gardener?" Europa asked, a bit surprised. They did all of their yard work themselves. Granted, she wasn't totally sure how much money her dad actually made. It was very possible that they were poverty-level compared to Pippin and his apparently wealthy momma.

The girl took her shoes off at the back door, always preferring the feel of grass between her toes to stuffy socks. She stepped out onto the porch and surveyed the yard. It didn't seem like anyone or anything had sneaked in when they were inside, and that was a good thing for sure. "So whaddya wanna do out here, huh?" she asked as she went down the steps, "Nothing like stick wars. Your mom would kill me."

---

"I agree. It's probably my fault, hm? I have no idea what I'm doing." He began down the road and toward the restaurant; a fancy Italian place down a few blocks. He had all intentions of paying for the both of them, and Eurie had acted as judge of the place beforehand. He was confident that things would go well.

Pippin laughed nervously, petting one of his headwings as he looked over at Europa, "Yeah, mother doesn't like to do the lawn stuff. She cleans the inside sometimes though." knowing that other families didn't have gardeners made him feel a bit bad, as if he and his family were lazy. "But yeah, we have a gardener..." twirling a feather he looked up at the girl, a slight look of shame that he attempted to hide was showing through.

A slight grin cracked on Pip's face as he noticed Europa taking off her shoes. It seemed as if he wasn't the only one who like the grass between his toes. "Umm, we could make a fort? Or put up a tent or something. We've gotta think of something really neat..." he pondered, pushing up his glasses for what felt like the millionth time.

---

Yet another tinkling laugh escaped the young female, "I don't think either of us it so blame." she said, her eyes flashing over in hopes of meeting his, "Let's just be glad that we're doing it now." Oh how her optimism showed, even simply in her joyful facial expressions. Her face was soft, and content as they drove down. She was sure the evening would be lovely.

Europa let the gardener bit slide, catching on to Pippin's discomfort at the subject. She and her father worked the house herself, even though the neighbors sometimes told them they needed someone else. What business was it of theirs?

"Hm," she reasoned, looking around the yard. It was big, and it was pretty. When it got a bit darker, they could probably set about catching lightning bugs, but they needed something to do in the meantime. "I like the idea of a fort," she decided finally, "or a tent. It all depends on what you wanna call it, I guess. I don't think it's supposed to rain? Don't worry about the sheet getting dirty, though-- I can always do laundry before your mom gets home." More than once she had had to cover up the her adventurous ways with the washing machine.
