What kind of quirks do your characters have?
My other main character Nicholai has a signature smirk that I find endearing, which usually means bad/good news for my main character Julian. Nicholai tends to tap his fingers when in an important situation such as a political meeting, though tries not to outwardly show his nervousness.
Julian tends to get fed up with his hair easily. He can't stop fiddling with it, though he won't cut it short.
Not really quirky much but Nicholai is a high political figure and Julian was a loner by choice until he met the man. So yeah, poor reclusive men haha!

Aldare tends to run into things thinking he can do everything on his own and needs no help from others (Yes, one of THOSE characters)
Eric is highly flirty and anytime the gang turns their back on him, he's usually gone off flirting with a nurse or some other girl xd
Jod has a bit of an ego (just a BIT stare ) considering he is the mage of the group and thus knows all sorts of things about magic and the world around them.
Desi is very protective about everything and everyone around her except for the enemy. She loves animals (has a tamed wolf that follows her), plants of all kinds (grew up in the forest), and is the biggest pacifist of the group, but still fights when she really needs to.
Annnnndddd... yea. That's about it as far as the truly MAIN characters go.

Haha I like the quirks of you characters. The flirty character always makes me laugh; it's like they are there for comic value. smile

Sorry if this is too long >_<
Kaarne can draw many conclusions about others just by looking at them for a moment. She watches their behavior, little gestures and even the way they dress. However, when it comes to socializing, she's inept. If she speaks, something morbid or silly often comes out.
Rassel smirks a lot and behaves obnoxiously in worst possible moments. In political meetings, he may try to get somebody sit in his lap or slurp his coffee loudly. He throws sudden, violent tantrums and is prone to sulking, but has a strange charisma. He's obsessed with Kaarne, even if she's only 15.
Meeron is a small, frail man with a huge ego. He's not popular with the ladies, but he's awfully obsessed in sex. He vents his frustration through pitiful hissy fits, often directed towards nearest females.

Das Raubtier, they sound like good strong characters. What sort of fiction do you write?

Well, it's hard to explain. My stories are mismashes of many different genres, and they often have heavy themes lightened by black humor. I love mixing things from different decades, and the world of my current story was inspired by the 1920's and near future : )

That is pretty good! I think fiction can be boring when it gets placed in seperate genres. Mixing such complex genres is great, would love to read something like that.

One of my characters tends to chew on the second bone of his index finger when nervous. It gets painful the more nervous he gets---he tends to bite harder, and he has fangs.
Let me see...other odd quirks...
Another character (who has been around for something like 200-300 years) can read people incredibly well, to the point where he can know next to nothing about someone, yet knows exactly what they are in the mood to order from him. Part of this comes from a supernatural intuition that he had to tone over the years he has been alive.
Still another character speaks through playing cards. He is a bit knowledgeable in Tarot, but he is always referring to close friends as things like "Ace of Spades" or "King of Clubs" or "Seven of Diamonds" based on where he feels they fall in the cards (obviously, he knows the Tarot counterparts to a regular deck of playing cards). He tells stories this way too (and as such, he is a pain to write, but worth it when I pull it off. XP).
None of my other characters really have odd quirks.

One of my charcters has a thing for pullling his feet up to his head when he's nervious.
And Taranel and Querl both have a thing for blowing their lab up when their depressed.
Beau has a thing for setting herself alight when she is forced to have a bath.
And Yang has a thing for wearing sunglasses inside his house.

Hmm...
Ninga definitely has inclinations towards the finer things in life (considering he grew up among nobility) which doesn't mesh real well with being in an army. He's pretty much a "make do" kind of person - except for the hair. Which he always keeps religiously clean and french braided, despite the constant ribbing from the soldiers.
I've made one of my characters deeply religious. Therefore (set in the same realm as Ninga) before every battle and after every victory, Blaise offers a prayer to the Gods above. Like clockwork.
Loren is heavy handed in his affections - much more likely to call someone an a*****e than friend - and yet, though he hates to admit it, has a hidden (buried under hundreds of layers of granite) softer side. Especially toward Ninga. Eventually.
Chloe is rather fond of heights. It's part of his job description, but also an underlying issue with his mental stability. I would like to explore parkour with Chloe, so that's another one :3
One of Kuro's many (and I mean many) odd quirks has it's roots in his ability of telepathy. He could reach anyone he wanted to without leaving a room and yet, as it is remarked within his verse, he "stubbornly insists on using the front door."
Zoey talks to inanimate objects. Gives them names, and sometimes personalities. This alternatively confuses, endears, and frustrates him to the rest of his crew.
Mariam's quirk is her partner, Spike. Their relationship is a mix between tight and dysfunctional. But she won't let anyone (or anything) mess with him. She also likes guns, to the point of a mild obsession. Mild being a nice term for it.
I'll end this with Kyou, because I seriously have many of these things. Kyou has a thing for arm warmers. Or gloves. Being he gets cold often - due in part to being a pyro (unlike Jack, he lacks the ability to fully control his powers) - it's not all that odd. But his collection of the accessories is truly astounding.
