  After a long day of remodeling, painting, and furnishing, Nia smiled at what she had completed. The luxury of the room before was gone, with its heavy comforters and lush deco, it didn't suit Nia's tastes at all. She preferred the simple, sophisticated, and not too overbearing. The room where the entrance to her dorm room was situated as a small and functional dining room, perfect for quick breakfasts before school, since she didn't prefer cooking at home too much.
After the main room, which she left quite functional and with little diseign since she didn't enjoy watching tv or all too much, there were two hallways, and the small hallway to the left split into three, her Study room, which housed her cute birds, her bedroom, and her bathroom. This was "Nia's Wing" or the dorm, and she left the right side which also had two rooms and bathroom. There was also a small kitchen area, but Nia left it completely alone since it was fine the way it was, considering she didn't do much cooking.    Nia smiled at her work, and after taking a quick shower, set a pot of tea on her table with matching cups, and opened a pastry box full of petit fours and cookies she picked up from a bakery just down the street from the school grounds. "There, finally moved in! I wonder if classes will be as easy as this was," Nia giggled to herself, sitting down to enjoy a cup of afternoon darjeeling tea.

Jericho lazily strolled down the empty hallway, his hands shoved into his pockets, and whistling out a happy tune. He was about to be on his way, when something tickled his fancy. He paced back a few steps, and looked down at the door in front of him. He cocked an eyebrow, as he read who the dorm belonged to. " Hmm...I reckin' she's must be new's here.", he said in a quiet tone. The giant cleared his throat, and removed his right hand from his right pocket, and knocked gently on the door a couple of times.

Nia quickly went to her door from her study, where she had lost track of time playing a game on her laptop. Sliding the last few feet on the wood floors, she slightly ran into the door. Quickly recovering, she opened up from door to find two quite handsome guys.
"Uwah, hello! Sorry to keep you waiting," Nia greeted, giving them a small bow. She recognzed one of them from before and smiled, "Ah! You were from earlier this morning! I'm sorry I had to go suddenly, I wanted to make sure the dorm was all set up."
Nia turned and smiled at her other visitor. She smiled in awe of his impressive build. "My, you're so tall! I'm 5'9", I always thought I was pretty tall, but I am now proven wrong! Anywho, I'm Nia," she giggled, opening the door for them, "Come in you two! I'll have some tea ready in a few."

Jericho closed his eyes instinctively , as he didn't know what expect as the door opened. After a second or two, he figured he wasn't gonna be attacked, so he opened them again. He smiled warmly as he looked down at the beautiful young girl. He was going to extend his hand out, but figuring since she bowed, he did the same. He uttered a light chuckle at her comment, and nodded in agreement. " I reckin' I's get that a lot. Kinda difficult when you's tryin' enter a car!", he said with another chuckle. " That's a nice name, my name's a' Jericho", he smiled, his deep voice and southern accent blending perfectly together.
He nodded politely, and entered her dorm, ducking under the threshold so he wouldn't bust his head open. He looked around the room, his hazel eyes wide in awe and a shocked look on his toned face. " Good Lord! Where in the hell did you get's all the money to buy's this stuff!", he said with a disbelieving laugh as he looked around her dorm, amazed by all the new furniture and the stylish decor.

"Why thank you, your name is quite charming as well," Nia giggled while watching Jericho mauneuver around the dining, and replied, "Ah, my mama is an interior designer. She's also overly cautious and protective. She was very critical with the headmaster or whomever, I haven't a clue who she talked to, but she made sure I was well off here. I haven't been apart from her since she found me. Although, I'd have been pleased with anything."
Nia's usually well hidden french accent spilled out with the mention of her beloved mother, and a small pang of longing filled her as she quickly prepared some tea and snacks for her guests. While fidgeting with the tableware, she asked, "So how is this school? I haven't had alot of time to explore."

Jericho stopped prancing around in awe, and listened to her with an innocent expression across his face. He nodded, and gave her a warm smile. " Sound's like yer mama cares for you's a bunch. My mama was the same way, always keeping a watchful eye on her youngins'. She was the nicest women you's would ever meet, she also had a good taste in foods", he said with a chuckle , his hazel eyes cast upon her. " But...it seems Mama has returned to the good lord....", he said with sadness as he pointed up towards the ceiling. He could feel the wetness returning in his eyes, so he closed them to avoid making a scene. He opened them back up, and gave her a sad smile.
Jericho, after a moment of silence, approached the refreshments with a hungry look on his face. He graped a simple croissant,and bite into it with a sigh of relief. " It's all good I suppose. I reckin' some of the teachers are a bit on the creepy side, though", he said with a full mouth, throwing his manners straight out the window

Nia gave Jericho a warm smile as she listened to him while sipping her tea. His mother sounded sweet, and she became fond of him immediately. He reminded her of an adorable gigantic teddy bear.
"Creepy teachers? That's so peculiar!" Nia laughed, although the thought made her quite uneasy. She continued on jokingly, "I do hope we have classes together, so in that case I could just stick to you alllllll day, if you don't mind of course."

Jericho looked at her, returning the warm smile with a look of gentleness. He then listened to her comment, and let out a light laugh, nodded in agreement. " Alway's gotta be on you tiptoes when you's enter class", he said with another laugh as he locked gazes with her. He then listened to her next comment, and a light streak of pink appeared across his toned face. "..Uh...Um..Sure, reckin' that'a be just fine..", he said with a nervous voice as he shifted his gaze to the floor. He kept his gaze on the floor, a light smile of mixed emotions plastered on his face.

Nia cheerfully smiled, a light laugh playing her lips. Her happy nature was now even more elated. She hopped from her seat and gave Jericho a hug.
"You're so sweet! I'm happy you visited me today, otherwise I would have been too timid to talk with you so easily," she said, giving him a thankful kiss on his cheek before sitting back onto her chair, accidentally dropping a plate of sweets. Her face flushed.
"Haha, I'm really clumsy......I'll clean this up don't worry about it please. Anyways, I heard this academy is full of really talented people, so I assume you are also gifted, yes?" Nia asked, tying her hair up into a pontail as she kneeled down and began cleaning up her mess.

Jericho blushed even more when she had given him a hug, his face becoming a deeper shade of red. He smiled when she laughed, the sweet sounded voice teasing his ears. He momentarily sighed some relief, but was taken by some surprise when she kissed him on the cheek. Her lips felt soft against his skin, as his face started to heat up, the red becoming darker ever still. " Th-thanks...you're really sweet too, and not to mention very beautiful..", he said the last part a bit quieter than usual, hoping she failed to hear him.
He was startled by the crash, breaking his blush as he looked at her with a alert expression. Seeing she was okay, he sighed happily,leaning back into his seat. He heard her question, and nodded slightly. " Well, aside from these two", he replied, flexing his massive arm muscles, with a content smile on his face. " I reckin' I's am quite th good guitar player...I likes to sing too", he answered her in a happy tone. " Sure yous don't need any help?", he asked politely as he got up from his seat, going to one knee to get closer to her.

"Ah wow, you love music? Me too! I play many instruments, but I love my violin," Nia smiled, her eyes never leaving Jericho's facewhile she absent mindedly cleaned up bit by bit. When Jericho kneeled down to help her, she smiled even more, her cheeks turning slightly pink.
"Thank you," she said shyly. When most of the bits were picked up, she said in a small voice, looking Jericho in the eyes "I would say you are beautiful too, but I don't want to sound silly. I don't quite know what to say, except that I very much enjoy your presence."
Nia's face was flushed deep red, and she diverted her glance down.

Nia looked towards the door, and got up, her blushing receeding a bit. She untied her hair, letting it flow, framing her pink-cheeked face, and said with a small laugh, "The knock scared me a little! I'll go answer that."
Nia quickly walked over her door and opened it, saying kindly, "Helllooooo, ah oh my, sorry for the wait. Please please come in."

Jericho smiled a bit, watching her delicately clean up her mess bit by bit. He gave her an amazed gaze as e told her about her musical talent. " Wow, I reckin' you's have quite the talent to play's that many instruments. Reckin' what type of music you listen to", he asked in a relaxed tone, his southern accent having a chirp to it.
He heard her other comment, and chuckled nervously, looking at the ground with a deep gaze, his cheeks returning to a shade of red. He then looked back over at her, and gave her a calming smile. " You's could say I was handsome, and I could say something like..' you have beautiful eyes', or 'your smile makes me smile', but that's just me..", he said in a more relaxed tone , but realizing she went to get the door. He then got up from his kneel, and followed her to the door, waiting for the person to make his greeting.
