I acctually found a preview of Funimation dubbing yesterday, and I'll just say this, i was less than impressed. I dislike it in fact. I think the only ones that were acctually sorta good were Ivan(russia) and Eduard(estonia). wow to be honest i think they did an ok job but i still have some things to say like:
i really didn't like the voices for spain,swizterlan,poland,and china
america's voice seems more annoying now >.>
somehow i think england's,france's,japan's,and america's r actually good

I was only able to see the first few seconds of that preveiw, and I just had to laugh at America's voice.
Heres a clip of Russia and France:

I just went complete fangirl over this. I love the voices, I think because I don't care about accents at all. Russia's voice is kind of deep, but Jerry Jewel did a good job. I love France's accent too. I'm just disappointed that they didn't use the same lines from the original Japanese version. I guess it makes it all the more fit for television, eh?

True, and I wish they would use the lines from the Japanese version. Though, I do like this better than the link i provided, as, the actual thing sounds better than live speaking in my opinion. I guess it makes it all the more fit for television, eh? it would of been nice if they did i liked france's voice and a little of russia's but i have to say that the original script is better then this one plus its always good to use the original im wondering if they could get italy and romano's voice rite cuz daisuke namikawa was rly good for both of them

I like germany's voice too, but I just love Iggys. It made me laugh so hard. Have you guys heard of Hetalia World Buffet? Its where people meet the guys who worked on the dub, as well as they tell you who plays who. Follow this link. They let out Germany yesterday, and Japan later today. http://www.blog.funimation.com/Oh yeah, and I've heard rumors that Todd Haberkorn, the guy that voices Ling Yao in Fullmetal Alchemist and Hikaru Hitachiin in Ouran, is playing North Italy. I think he may do a pretty good job with him.

Me too! My family now probably thinks I've lost it cuz I was screaming at the screen 'say aru! please! aru...'
.....that and then at the store i started giggling at cheese that said baby swiss...

Though the dub is no where near close to perfect, Im not *that* disappointed because...well...it *is* a dub, and dubs rarely ever are viewed as good things. Im just taking it as is...

When I found out funimation was dubbing it I became scared...I love funimation but....I guess I would be scared with whatever company licenced it. I'm still planning on buying it whether its a fail or not (In my opinion so far most of it is a fail. sad ) because even if I don't like it, I can always watch it in japanese with subs.
And I wanted to cry to when I didn't hear the aru....it's like it's not even china anymore ;~;

italy:WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY ITALY
germany:eh it was ok
japan:sounds more of france to me
america:your voice is now even more annoying
england mad D
france:sounds good i guess
russia:wheres ur cute voice?
china:NO MORE "ARU" -cries in corner-
spain:THAT CANNOT BE MY SPAIN
estonia:i luv his voice
poland:THT LIKE TOTALLY CANNOT B HIS VOICE
