Alice went to the volleyball court. No ones here, she thought, oh well. Alice picked up a ball and started hitting it around.

Melissa dropped her bag, not in the sand, but close to the courts. She picked up a ball of the rack, and started to bump it to herself, waiting for the others to arrive.
