Alicia smiled as she walked down across the beach in her bare feet. A small laugh escaped her lips at the tickling feeling around her feet. She loved the feeling of sand through her toes. A gentle wind picked up, and Alicia pushed her blond hair behind her ear to keep it from blocking her view.
Unless it was a special event and fireworks were used to celebrate, the beach was usually deserted. The daughter of Apollo glanced around, seeing if anyone was around. Then, confident that there wasn't, she opened her mouth and started singing.
Alicia had often been told that she was a good singer. It was something that she loved doing, but she had always thought of herself as an average singer. Not bad, but not good either. Of course, her friends just called her modest when she told them that.
With a small smile on her face, her singing dropped to a small hum, and she walked towards the water. She was not a good swimmer, but she enjoyed splashing around in the water near the shore.

As Lucas walked toward the beach. He saw a girl walking toward the water. "Hey!" Lucas shouted as he approached the girl.

Alicia was about to step into the water when she heard a voice behind her. She turned around and spotted a boy, about her age, with blond hair and blue eyes, just like her. For a moment Alicia thought that he was a sibling of hers, but after staring at him for a moment longer, she realized that something about him didn't feel right.
The daughter of Apollo shrugged. She didn't really care whose parent he was from. A demigod was still a demigod no matter what. Alicia smiled at the boy. "Hello!" she said pleasantly, giving the boy a shy smile. "And what brings you here this lovely afternoon?"

Alicia nodded slowly, suddenly feeling a bit dumb. Of course he came for the water. Almost everyone did. She smiled shyly at the boy and brought a foot out from the water. She stared at it for a few seconds, fascinated at the little drops of water that were stuck on her foot. Then she turned her attention back to the boy. Her eyes widened suddenly, realizing something.
"Oh how rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Alicia. Alicia Florence." Alicia grinned at the boy and did a small twirl. "I am a child of Apollo...And may I know your name?"

Alicia nodded again, and smiled. "Ah, I see." she said slowly, looking out into the horizon. It was beautiful. The sun was setting and the sky had pink and orange hues. She turned her head to look at Lukas. "Well, don't let me get in the way of you swimming." Alicia motioned towards the water with her hands. "If you don't mind, I would actually like to see you in the water."

Alicia raised an eyebrow and smiled, impressed. She watched with amazement as Lukas disappeared into the water. A part of her wanted to follow him, and that was exactly what she did. Even though Alicia was in her summer dress, she started walking deeper into the water, until it reached her stomach. She, for one thing, could not swim for a life. If she got any deeper into the water, she would most likely drown, and die.
A frown appeared on her face as she noticed that Lukas had not submerged yet. She tilted her head confused. She knew that the children of Poseidon could breath underwater, but what was keeping Lukas in the water for so long? Worried, Alicia decided to call for him. "Lukas...?"

ooc// Sorry! I thought that it had a K. x3
Alicia let out a sigh of relief when Lucas popped back up from the water. She smiled slightly, and then started layghing. "Oh, sorry. I just thought something happened to you." Alicia blushed, suddenly feeling a little bit foolish. "I tend to get a bit paranoid when I'm in the water, since I can't swim...well."

Alicia let out a small laugh. "Apollo can do many things. He can drive, he's good at poetry, he also knows the art of prophecy." she stopped talking for a moment, and shivered slightly. It was getting cold. Then she continued talking. "Just because Apollo is my father doesn't mean I have all of his skills."
Silence fell between them for a moment, and then Alicia looked up at the sky. It was getting darker. She glanced at Lucas, tilting her head slightly. "How long have you been at camp?" she asked with a smile. Being a summer camper herself for a only year, Alicia knew little people at Camp Halfblood.
