Okay, so you got accepted into the guild? Great, well the next step is to create a character. How do you do that? Simple. The post below is the profile skeleton. Simply copy and paste it into a new thread. The title of the thread should be the name of your Character, and only the name of your character. Also, please keep these few reminders in your head as you complete your profile:
Please fill out all the profile. Incomplete profiles will not be accepted.
Auto claiming is not allowed. That means you may not choose who your immortal parent is. A crew member shall choose for you depending on the personality of your character. We do this so that we don't end up with a million children of the Big Three.
However, just because you cannot auto claim does not mean that you are not allowed to create your character so that it reflects the God or Goddess that you would like to be your character's immortal parent. For example, if you are aiming to have your character's immortal parent be Aphrodite, then you may want to design your character so that they are narcissistic, and love shopping. (No offense to Aphrodite kids. ;D )
DO NOT ALTER THE PROFILE SKELETON IN ANY WAY! Just choose a colour, fill it in, and post it in a new thread. If you are having difficulty with the profile, PM one of the crew members, they will be happy to help you!
Mary-Sues/Gary Stus/Emo people are not allowed. What does that mean? That means that there are no such thing as perfect characters. No, your character is not the ultimate demigod. No, your child cannot be a child of Hades yet know control lightning. Please remember, demigods are still part human. They still have their own faults and weaknesses. Also, don't make it so that your characters are all emo kids who like darkness. It's overrated.
FAQ:
Q: Why isn't my profile accepted?!
A: The three main reasons usually are that either A) You auto claimed yourself, B) you have not completed the profile, or C) you did not give enough info in your profile.
When a crew member does not claim you, they usually post a reason to why they did not claim you. Edit your profile, and wait patiently. A crew member will claim you!
Q: It's been an hour and my profile has not been accepted yet?
A: Relax! The staff of the guild have lives too. Usually a crew member will claim you within two to three hours after you posted your profile. However, it's possible that it could take a day before your profile gets accepted. There are many reasons for this. The crew members may either be busy, or they just don't know where to put you. If after two days nobody replies to your profile, feel free to PM one of the crew members and tell them!
Q: What is the maximum number of characters I can play?
A: Guild members are only allowed a maximum of two characters. If you would like to play a new character, then you must kill off one of your characters first. Once you have done so, you may create a new character.
Q: How do I kill one of my characters?
A: Arrange for a crew member to roleplay with you. They will create a scene where your character dies. Once your character dies, it will be moved to the sub-forum 'Fields of Elysium'.
Q: I don't like the God or Goddess that the crew member chose for me!
A: Although the Crew members will always have final say, if you do not think that your character's immortal parent fits your character, tell the crew member who accepted your profile via PM or post in your character's thread. However, don't go complaining! Instead, suggest nicely that you think another God or Goddess would fit your character. A crew member will look through your profile again, and they may, or may not change your character's parenthood.
Q: In the profile skeleton, there is something that says What does that mean?
A: That is simply a colour to make your profile prettier! (: Usually people choose a colour that matches their character. All you have to do is replace 'colorhere' with a colour like red, blue, green, etc. For a list of colours that you can use, click here.
Q: In the profile skeleton, there is something that says [img*]imagelinkhere[/img*] What does that mean?
A: That is where you put the image of your character! Basically replace the 'imagelinkhere' with the link to your image. To find the link of your image, simply right click the image of your character, and a drop down menu will appear. Click on 'properties' and then a link should appear. Copy that link in between the [img*][/img*] tags, and voila! The picture of your character is now on the profile! Any further questions may be asked below. -edited by XxharmonicxX on 8/15/10

Personality:Alicia is pure. She's probably made out of everything that is good. The last thing she would do is think badly of someone. Everything in the world is good in her eyes. Do you need some help? She would be there to help you for sure, even if would cause herself some inconvenience. Though she can be a bit shy at first, Alicia can be really friendly, and she's always optimistic. However, she get's tricked easily by people because she trusts them too easily. At times she can be a hopelessly romantic, and she is naturally beautiful, but really, she doesn't care much about looks and boys. To sum it all up, Alicia is the fluffy type of person who is happy when the people around her are happy.
HistoryAlicia was adopted when she was young by a rich couple who couldn't have children of their own. Don't mistaken them to be millionaires though, they did not live in a mansion, but let's just say that they were far from having any financial difficulties.
Alicia found out about her actual parenthood at an early age. She had always been fascinated about Greek mythology, and as she learned more about, she often imagined herself as the child of a God or Goddess, like most silly little girls did. This attracted the monsters, and at the age of nine, she was attacked by one. A harpie was about to kill her when an older demigod appeared out of nowhere and fought the harpie. Both of them perished in the battle.
A few days after the attack, a satyr came and spoke with Alicia and her parents. At first her parents were shocked, and a little bit disgusted, but they loved Alicia. It was then settled that Alicia would attend Camp half blood half the year, and school the other half. Alicia, who knew that she owed her life to the dead demigod, vowed to practice and become a strong demigod so that she too could protect others.
Weapon of Choice: Bow and Arrow; when not used it's concealed as a bracelet.

The day my mother screamed: December 10
Personality: Willow was always shy and drawn to magic. When she was young she dreamed that she could use magic and that is what drew the monsters to her and was attacked at the age of 10 during P.E. class.
History: Willow lives with her dad and has always wanted to know who her mother was. She is shy and quiet never really had any friends that she could connect with. Willow was born with dyslexia and adhd and was kick out of three private schools. When she was five she almost drowned in her pool, but oddly the water did not harm her. Willow believes in Mythology and her favorite goddess was Hecate, one of the rare goddesses that can do magic, and she wished that she could be Hecate’s daughter. Willow dreamed so much that it drew the attention of a young satyr and many monsters.
Weapons of choice: A staff and small sword concealed at two hair barrettes.

Silverfur125 how will we know when we have been claimed? Firstly, You've posted your profile in the wrong place. Post your profile here In a new thread with your character's name in the subject. You'll know you've been claimed when a mod replies in the thread, proclaiming your character's godly parent.

The day my mother screamed: April 23
Personality: Ikari is a little shy and a loner, and she is very drawn to magic. after her father died she wished she had magic to to bring him back, then monster came and attacked her during her fathers funeral.
History: Ikari lived with her father and never knew she had a mother. She's shy and never very social so she never made any friends. she was born with adhd and her teachers couldn't cope with it. Her father died when she was eight and lived alone. Ikari studied mythology and loved Hecate, she wondered if she was her daughter.
