Mzio lay lazily on the soft wet ground. It had just rain and he loved it. It was perfect weather to lay back and just enjoy the day. The ground with soft and squishy, something he could cuddle into. He love the day after it rain. The ground was wet but warm from the morning sun and he could smell the air better because of it. It wasn't too hot because of the rain so he didn't have to worry about getting shade, also he didn't have to walk miles upon miles looking for water because there would be little puddles of water everywhere. Oh how he just loved the days after rain. Nothing else could be as perfect.
On the opposite end of the mood chart was Kelda, she was sourly moving through the wet grass that unpleasantly stuck to her paws. Fresh rain was one thing, but she had literally tumbled into a nice little pond. Stupidly she'd bent over for a large gulp of water and was fed a 'large' body of water. She remebered the ground giving way and the horrid splashing. Teh wall of water that met with the very displeased hyena was cold and could have been refreshing on other days, but as she dragged herself free from the liquid prison she growled and grumbled. She did so as she wandered away until the sun fully came out then she calmed, but was still soaked and frazzled. "This day could not get any worse!" She almost hissed through her clenched teeth.
Tapping his foot to the song in his head he smiled. How better could this day get, and as he said that the sun rays hit the cloud just right and he chuckled. It was like this day was just for him. Nothing could get him down and he wasn't going to let anything get him down. he bet that every animal out there was just having a great of a time of him. He looked up and grin, the clouds were having another should for him. The were moving around and swirling together, just perfectly. Man he must be the luckiest hyena out there today because this day was just getting better and better. And as she thought that he hear a female yelled.He got up and perk his ears looking for the score of the sound and saw a very wet female hyena. The poor little things was a sight to see, he could help but laugh. Mzio gentle walk over to her and ask, "What's wrong?" he couldn't help but talk to her. She looked like she was having the worst day in her life.
Kelda`Hades glared, two orbs of pure hatred at the hyena as he stirred from his place, relaxing, basically dry and all grins. "Whats wrong?" She asks him, a thick amount of sarcasm dripping from her words. Her body image spoke a story all in itself, mud covered, drenched and little bits of water plants stuck to her pelt. "Being wet, falling into ponds because of untrustworthy edges and so on..." She grumbled then took a warning step back and shook, releasing any unclung water from her body. "And why are you so happy, MrHappyPants?" She growled, annoyed.
Oh this female was mad. Maybe he shouldn't of said that. He was never good with female and this was proving his case. He tilt his head and wonder why she wasn't enjoying this nice weather like him until she spoke. He blink and open his mouth only to close it again. Maybe she would like to dry off in the sun with him that might be good and the ground he laid on was not really wet because he dried it off. She could rolled off the things that was on her. Yes, that was a good plan until she spoke again. He was so confused. He didn't do anything yet she was so upset with him. He blink again and looked away from her. How was he going to say that he was having the perfect day when she was having the worst day in her life. He sigh and began to spoke, "Oh Nothing. It was just...I...well I mean...I was enjoying the weather? he said with caution.
He was just ready to get hit or for her to say something rude. But he wasn't going to let her and continue to talk, "i have a warm dry spot right here you can land down and warm up and also dry off to. I could grab you something to eat if you like? I mean ..yeah it would be nice. I guess" he said trailing off with a mumble.
Kelda glared steadily at the now, hsaking in his pelt, male before her. He had been made to fear her then gave her something she desired, she liked that muchly. What more could a female ask for, so instantly she became a 'peach' in her own way. "Thanks." She said sharply, her tone unforgiving, but thankful with a crisp knife-like edge. She moved to teh offered spot and coiled herself up into a ball and shivered a little. The sun was refreshing and the spot was cozy, but the wind was a brutal thing and she grumbeld to herself about it quietly. Then began cleaning herself quickly, all she needed was a good set of sniffles and bam her day would be at it's peak.
Still a bit frigthen by the female he keep his distant. He didn't want to get attack, as she looked like she could snap at any moment. Nodding his head, he gave her a sweet smiled as if he was happy to give her anything. He look away, trying to not cause any reason to snap again and said, "Um is there any kind of meat you won't or can I just hunt anything" It was in a weak tone The female had been threw some rough times and it was just right to be nice.
Watching her move to the spot he could help but glance a little when she happen to clean herself. He trun away as fast as he watch. His face turning a drak red hue and hit himself with his paw. He had to be careful. If she spotted him looking at her, he knew for sure she would be in enrage. It was just that he hadnt seen a female in awhile and she was just so pretty.
Kelda`Hades hadto pasue midway through cleaning as she heard the males voice weaken and then come to a sudden stop. She took a peak beyond her wide and thick bangs to spy him eying her. She reacted smoothly with a cute grin and a sly glint in her eye. She then continued to preen through her fur, drying what she could. "Any meat, though no meat is fine." She said in a trivial way, her tone smooth and neutral, eye's closed and mind focused on the task at hand. She moved gracefully from her paw to her stomach, head twisted and tongue moving ever so lightly and slowly, she prayed the male was watching, this teasing show was for his eye's. Perhaps she had found a 'keeper' for the evening. She barely expected the male to blush at her just cleaning before, perhaps her intended slow movements were stir more.
Poor Mzio, he had no idea who he was messing with. Looking back at her when she talked, he tilted his head. He wasnt sure what to say to that. Maybe she wanted zebra.. or maybe an...But when he was thinking he had forgot to look away and sweep away in her mind game.
Blinking only to see her tug on his poor heart. He jaw drop, she was beautiful..no wonder. No he wanted her. Why, must she go on and do this to him. And saying that, it seem like the gods wanted to cause trouble for him because the sun hit her wet clean fur as to make her shine in his eyes. Blinking he move, but stopped. He didn't know what to do but he knew his face must of been as drak as a roten berrie. Oh why did he had to talk to a female like this. He knew this was just going to end up bad. He didn't have in him to keep her for the night. He sigh and moved again, closer and closer to prize he wanted. Was he? Mzio really going to try her luck with her?.....
Kelda let her head hang, she knew full well the male was creeping his way towards her and only took advantage of it. This was more then she could ever wish for. She knew she was beautiful and what was going to stiop her from taking this male right here right now and putting him in his place. "Whoa there, where do you think your nose is taking you.." She let her head stay low, but her eye's flipped up and gazed at him, a seductive tone, glittering eye's and bangs covering just enough of her face to make the look complete. The 'I want you now' look. That look she didn't take long to master and knew any male, even if he tried to resist would come to. This male only added to her ever growing ego. What was she to do if the world ever stopped wanting her.
Moving in a little closer, he smiled. He was ready. He coulddo it, he was ready to take her now. Who wouldn't be ready to take her now. She was calling his name in everyway. He couldn't miss this, but then she talk and he stopped. Just right when he was ready to pounce on his "prey"
Stupid stupid, Mzio. Foolish flooish Mzio. What in the world were you thinking. You were to get the meat and touch anything that was out of your reach. You weren't man enough to take on that. Sighing and turning away he said, "Oh....ummm.... I was, Well you see I smell something and became in a trace and I will get your mea.." and before he was able to finish. She did it again. Pulling on his heart. The look of I want you now was on her face and Mzio nodded with happy glee. Oh how he wish she knew how much he wanted her. He stopped, no he had to go get the meat. He mind was meat but his body was her and it look his body was winning as it was moving closer to her.
She stood now, pelt pretty much finished with at this point, eye's glued to his. She felt her heart thump, mind losing a small bit of control for the blue male, his cheeks a firm rosy shade of red that didn't seem tobe going anywhere and bright want clear in his eye's. "If you want me, why don't you come and get me?" She nearly purrs at him, being a dog the purr was a bit of a content grumble, but it got the point across. She wandered forward and nosed his cheek then moved passed him, setting her cheek to his side, hearing his heart race set her body on fire. She was certainly excited herself. Her tail whipped purposely by his nose, shoving her pheromones into his nostrils and into his brain, a good way to accelerate the want. She kenw this all to well.
Mzio smiled and fllind his hair away from his eyes. Now she wanted him, this was good. It gave Mzio a chance think that he was "the man". And with those words nothing was stopping him from getting what he wanted. Moving closer he stopped when she move nose him. Licking hers back, his face felt her warm cheeks and he almost melted. He wanted her, but what was stopping him from jumping on her right now. Maybe the thought of loosing the thrill of the hunt. His mind was racing and it didn't help when she thre pheromones in his face. Moving closer to he gently warp his tail around her arm. "Now that wasn't fair he said almost unable to last any longer. Gentling licking her cheek he smiled at her.
The night ended on a surprisingly good note, Kelda was pleased with her new found partner to fling iwth and the day hadn't been the worst in her life. She was still a bit damp, but she could now argue it out to be sweat instead, gross but whatever, she smiled and nuzzled up against the new boy in her life and began to fall asleep. She coudl hear teh hum of her heart as they both dozed off.
