Trinket was going to be come a model today, maybe not a real professional one like her mother but people would still see her go down the catwalk with grace and sass. Well they would if she was chosen anyways, there was no guarantee the lust spawn would find a designer to work with her and well she supposed she understood that. After all most of the people taking part in today's ' mall model magic" challenge would be friends or at least know each other. having only found out about the contest last night and with no friends to speak of who were free for the special one day challenge she just had to hope that someone else showed up looking for a partner as well.

The lavender skinned teen strode down the corridors of the mall nervously towards the center where things were being set up for entrants. Pairs would have work stations to use during the hours they had to turn pre-created clothing items as well as a bunch of raw materials they'd be given into something interesting that one partner would have to wear down the mini runway at the end of the challenge.

With only an hour or so left before the challenge began people were already turning up and whispering to one another about things. Trinket, tentacles wrapped comfortingly around her waist, searched the crowd for anyone who looked alone.

Trinket wasn't entirely certain but she thought that the dark, well minus the streaks, haired girl who'd just arrived might be looking for a partner. It wouldn't hurt to at least ask as far as Trinket was concerned. The lavender skinned spawn composed herself and walked towards the other girl, a friendly smile upon her lips. She wanted to be reassuring but not forward or creepy, god she hated the way creepy people, usually men, approached her when they smiled like they wanted to touch her.

"Hey," she began softly " sorry to bug you but were you looking for a a partner for this?" Trinket gestured towards the sign up table.

Trinket laughed and reached out to clasp Natalya's hand with her own. "I'm Trinket, no short form and I'd love to try working with you." so what if they were strangers, if nothing else it'd be fun. " Though I warn you my sewing is only really passable." She'd help the best she could and she could do her own makeup but Trinket was more suited to showing off the clothes than being the major contributor to making them.

The dark skinned spawn's green eyes flicked up to watch the other girl's odd antenna for a moment, she'd never seen anything quite like it. " Does that actually glow?" she asked curiously about the bulb at the end, it looked like it might but she couldn't be sure.

Trinket nodded slowly " I see, isn't that dangerous though, I mean won't stuff come after you becuase of that." It might be nice to attract fish to look at but something like a shark or other predator would be hard to fight off. " Oh and I'm fine being the model, my mother's one so I sort of have experience," she assured Tally and gestured over towards the signup table again " We should go register."

Trinket grinned and walked with her partner over to the sign up table. It took only a few minute to register there names and be assigned a table and basket of supplies and instructions. They had a slight disadvantage registering late since they had less time to draft a design before the work time started but hey that just made the challenge that much more interesting!

"You said your older sister models," Trinket murmured after a minute while still skimming the instructions. " Does she do it professionally or just for schools projects and stuff?"
