Manga, I've never really been able to get into. Anime, most of what I've seen is good (love Death Note and FMA), but I'm sure there's stuff I won't like.

I liked Cardcaptor Sakura, but I like Comics (Mainly Scott Pilgrim) more.
BUT ANIME IS DIFFERENT, I LOVE ANIME. I've been meaning to watch Princess Tutu.

YAY! I can't begin to list all the manga and anime titles I have seen but yeah like a stereotypical Asian I do enjoy a lot of anime, manga, and my Nintendo games. Shockingly, I love Sailor Moon and Dragon ball series the most. I have seen Death Note, FMA, most of the Gundamn series (at the least the ones that NA got) and a lot more. razz Currently finishing up Monster, Honey & Clover, and NANA.
As for western comics I love Y-The Last Man, Spider-man, Batman, TMNT (when I can get it) and a few other series.

Yay! We really like you too, Missy!
And you most certainly are not! Although, I admit, my big anime and manga crazy was about 5 or 6 years ago. I still enjoy it on occasion. At least the good ones. Which one is your favorite? I know you really like DBZ.

At least the good ones. Which one is your favorite? I know you really like DBZ. DBZ and Sailor Moon are my all time favorite anime series! I used to have this really great fanart of the Z-warriors as Sailor scouts. *I lost it* It makes me sad cause when I watch DBZ:Kai I keep wishing that Sailor Moon would come on next, but it's not going to happen. (Besides Sailor Moon would come on before DBZ when it was on CN) *remembers the line ups*

We loved it, and were more than a little obsessed.

ah, I'm not that big into anime and manga anymore. I still like this and that series, but I'm more picky and I have less patience for certain things. I'm also really critical of art styles. I love KHR and DBZ though, which says a lot about what I look for in a series. Recently I got into three new(-ish) manga series I found, through mangafox which I usually stay away from, but got bored.
Senki Senki Momotaru, Oresama Teacher and Aphorism. Aphorism is very bloody, and the most recent one I found, so definitely my style, but I have to say that Oresama is my leading favourite. It's got a good mix of action and the sort of hilarious high school hijinks I loved about A-Kon! and Azumanga Daioh.
For western comics and graphic novels, I read the Flash and Hellblazer. On that note, I have to say Wally is my favourite Flash hands down. And I love incorrigible characters like Constantine. I have my types, clearly... ;D.

boneyard blues ah, I'm not that big into anime and manga anymore. I still like this and that series, but I'm more picky and I have less patience for certain things. That's kind of the way I am, now a days. I had my really big anime/manga faze 5 or 6 years ago. There's some I still love though. Like Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa (anything by Clamp, really), or Fruits Basket. Geeze... Those are all shoujo manga... I do like shonen to! I swear!

Fff, I can't stand most shoujo. And I really hate FB. But I'm a whore for shounen. So predictably, I'm quite a Bleach fangirl. ;D. But my favourite manga of all time has to be FPR. Even though there's only three volumes out atm.

Even though there's only three volumes out atm. I like both, but I've found that Shonen has a tendency to have those super long fights that just annoy the hell out of me. I don't mind fights, I even enjoy them, but in too many Shonen they just last way too long. That's what turns me off to so many of them. Oh, and the obvious sexism that has a habit of appearing in many shonen (although you can certainly find many, many examples that aren't sexist in the least). Not that sexism doesn't appear in shoujo. It's kinda rampant in both. But at least it's a little less sexualized in shoujo. Not that I like it in either and I try to avoid shoujo with sexist themes. In both women are just damsels in distress waiting to be saved by the big strong men. That drives me up a wall.
