So, my audition for band camp is in exactly SIX DAYS. Ok? So I picked out a solo, and it's one of THOSE solos, you know? Where it's like, a whole page of sixteenth notes, and they're like, uber fast. So yeah. Onward! The question. How do you practice trills? Cause litterally, that's almost how fast these things are.
I just have a little section, like 4 measures that I cant get.
HELP, please. whee

Well my bd when he had a part where he couldn't get he would have ten pennys and each time he got it right he took a penny and moved it over to a seperate pile, but if you mess up you move all your pennys back and try again. It's a little old school but it worked for me!

That's a good idea. 3nodding
My teacher always talks about that. She says to invision it as a scale, and you have to get the number of times you play it right to be heavier than the wrongs. But i'm not very good at imagining things. xp So that's a good way to make it real. Thankies!
