We need the sonic type. We already have tons of moves to become sonic, like how Bite became a dark move, and tons of potentially sonic pokemon! Seen below.  , , , , Now Xatu needs an evo, so make it a sonic typed evo! Also, those Lake Guardians used Uproar so effing much, they deserve to be sonic typed.

But if there were a noise type, then what would it be weak against. Honestly Noise isn't one of the basic 6 elements. although we do need a Light/holy type.

It..... Could be weak against rock! Because sound doesn't travel too fast through rock... I think. And Light type... Wouldn't that kinda qualify in the psychic section? (Justa wonderin')
And, quite frankly, I think we should have a Space type. Not like Palkia's 'space', but OUTER space. Extraterrestrial. ;D

Yue Taewang But if there were a noise type, then what would it be weak against. Honestly Noise isn't one of the basic 6 elements. although we do need a Light/holy type. I think they declared that there wouldn't be a light/holy type?

No psychic isn't a holy/light type..
besides, psychic is ghost's opposite, while holy would be dark's opposite. and you guys are mixing up types with classifications.

Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Metal Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, Metal Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Shadow From this we get our pokemon's types. Sound wouldn't go under any of these since it is just a vibration of molecules. Space is more qualified to be a type because it would go under Shadow, since space is nothing but void area. An attribue associated with Shadow. Likewise if there is something for creation which would go under Light.
