Actually, the guild used to have Minor Gods, but we deleted he entire idea. There would be much to many crew members and it would be a hassle trying to control each and every on of them.
Hermes is not a minor god. He is an olympian and the messenger to the gods as well. Please, before talking about something of that topic, please do some research.
I'm sorry to say this but to answer to your question, no. Minor Gods do not exsist in this guild except for quest use. However,a crew member controls thier actions.
I hope you still enjoy this guild and continue to roleplay with us.

We just don't have enough members to have minor gods sweatdrop there's dozens of them: Hecate, Nike, Dike, Deimos, Phobos, Nix, Persephone, Nemisis... and a bunch more that I don't know. But we wouldn't be able to have most of them claim anyone, because we need more members burning_eyes

I understand the problem of having a lot of crew members, but why do you need to have one crew member for each minor god. Why not have the existing crew members each take a couple of minor gods? They wouldn't have to roleplay as them, but could claim any demigod children.
I don't know how you decide who gets claimed by who, but limiting claiming to just the major gods really puts a damper on creating unique demigods. Especially since there are only 10 possible Olympians who could choose. Hera and Artemis not having any children of their own.
In the series, minor demi gods were never mentioned much. So, a lot of their abilities can be created by roleplayers. Letting minor demi gods could help attract more roleplayers too.

I understand your point, I think you're right. The minor gods being able to claim campers would attract attention.
HOWEVER
Its not an easy thing to implement, it would require to have a designated cabin for the minor gods, and with the campers being able to come up with there own abilities, they already can, within the general idea of there godly mother/fathers abilities. The Major gods all have general, common knowledge descriptions of what their powers entail, making it easier for people to find the strengths and weaknesses of another, whereas the case where people could make up there own powers based upon a not very well known minor god, could result in godmodding, which we try to prevent.
And lastly, please stop saying 'but in the series', because this isn't the series.

The Major gods do have general, common knowledge descriptions of what their powers entail, but they are very broad. Each being open to a lot interpretation, just like most minor gods powers are.
And yes, having minor god demigods could easily turn into godmodding, but the Big Three Children are pretty close themselves. You could have would-be minor demigods pm possible powers to the crew leaders to evaluate.
Having cabins for each minor god would be impossible. There are way too many for that. But what about limiting it to just the ones mentioned in the books. Or, just place them all in Hermes cabin. I know that in Last Olympian they were planning on building minor god cabins, but that would take awhile. I don't know what time frame this rp in, but the cabins could not be built yet.
I wasn't saying 'but in the series.' I only said, "in the series," once. I was simply referring to the series, which this guild is based off of, to make a point. I know this guild is not the series.
Lastly, I'm sorry if I am getting on people's nerves. I'm just trying to get you to reconsider minor demigods.

Also, in this guild, our olympian gods and goddesses are played be gaians who are not on as often as the campers are being claimed and coming into the guild. So I sit down and figure who goes to who, but now one of our vice captains, Yuzuhari-chan, is in control of that now.
Also agreeing with what one of our other vice captain, Cappin Crunch, said, this guild is not the book series. It is merely a roleplaying hangout for gaians who liked the books and would like to be in a similar atmosphere. We even post on our homepage, this guild is loosely based on the books. The only thing we have similar to the book is the camp, questing grounds, mount olympus, and the fact that the campers are the sons and daughters of olympian gods and goddesses. After that, it is all original stuff to add to the roleplaying atmosphere.

Well wait. I read some of the idea's, and thought this.
Of course there will not be a crew member for each minor, but let's say, five to ten for a crew member. Choice one
Choice Two is that the alreayd crew takes thre to five minor gods, don't rp as them, but claim.
The cabin problem ~ Why not, if you go with either choise, make one cabin of all minors. If not that, if you chose choice two, say me, Apollo, takes Nike, Dike, Deimos, Phobos, and Nix. Well, there could be a cabin for them, and say some else, a crew member, takes a few, those few would have a cabin.
Understand, or should we just leave the whole 'minor Gods' alone?

i agree that the idea of minor goddess and gods having claimed campers would be interesting and make more unique campers
but
we dont even have that many campers who actually participate just a hand full out of the lot of people who are in this guild
also it would be easy for most of us gods to be a major and minor god especially if they shared some attributes
and placing all the demigods in one minor cabin couldn't work b/c of the strife between some of the minor gods and goddess, we would have to do a loooot of research to come up with a plausible scenario in which to make that work

And Lilith, this is another issue that we do not follow the books in. I remember that Hestia ia once again upgraded to the status of olympian. However here in my guild, we have the fourteen gods and goddesses. This is final.

Just to say furthermore, please don't be discouraged! We are always open to suggestions of any kind. However Axaxel is right,
we don't really have enough campers who actually participate to even implement this, and there's also the chance that someone would be upset with their godly parent. Imagine:
"So you're a son of Hades in that PJO guild?"
"Yeah, its awesome, I can Shadow Travel and control the dead. What about you?"
"Hestia's my mom."
"Who's that?"
"Goddess of the Hearth."
"Err... What's a Hearth?"
"Yeah..."
If there's already people who complain about who claims them with just the major gods, it'd very likely increase with minor gods.
As it stands, this is the biggest issue I see.
