I used to like MUSE but with their recent sell out to the twilight industry I'm not too sure it's about the music anymore, I don't like bands that are after millions and millions of dollars instead of focusing on music that makes a difference which is why I'm leaning towards One Republic which has a similar sound.

I'm really really into Nirvana. They're my absolute fav'rite.
Then comes Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard.

There are many more, but I'm too lazy. But I mainly like rock and grunge.

My favorite artist are My Chemical Romance, Placebo, The Birthday Massacre, and Madina Lake.
Brendon Urie and Patrick Stump are my favorite vocalist.
Their bands weren't even on my Maybe list of bands to listen to, but after being forced to see both bands live, I became a strong fan of their singers vocal abilities.

One Republic's singer writes song for pop idol like Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce though, so your reason for no longer being fond of Muse can technically apply to them as well.

Yes but One Republic has always been after the money. That's the difference. MUSE stated hat a song was written specifically for twilight even though the entire album was built around 1984. Basically they tried to lie to their American consumer to get more money.

True, and good point.

I'm not a fan of the current work of either band currently just because I'm not fond of their sound.
I love Muse's album's Show Biz, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution, and Black Holes and Revelations, but their sound seemed to change on The Resistance. It sounded like they lost their unique sound on that album to me, but that's just my opinion.

That's a hard one. Probably, right now, it's Motley Crue. Or Jeff Loomis (solo album, I hate Nevermore.)

Wu-tang clan, nirvana, alice in chains, pink floyd, korn, tool, jimi hendrix, bob dylan, pantera, eminem, outkast, cake, tons of other rap, metal, alternitive, rock etc.. that i cant think of at the moment. but i hate country, 80's, folk (not including bob dylan) and really all modern music not including a some bands but most (to gay or just lack of effort for money)
....not to mention music should be free cuz its not like they make a bill through albums, they make all their money in concerts and merchandise (think about it) wink

I have two favorite bands, the Amity affliction and Upon a burning body.
My friends do call me a music junkie tho because I listen to any type of music.
I have been listening to a lot of Lights, Sia, and Sleeping At Last.
