Welcome to my quest for a semi-ish custom Dux Lamia.
I say semi-ish custom because the only things I really have pinned down for this idea are gender, oil, and essence.
I'm fine with the appearance of the Dux Lamia being left up to Toa.

Foxes are smaller to medium sized canid, being slightly smaller than a medium sized domestic dog. While there are many different species of foxes, there are only 12 species of vulpes, or "true foxes." They are distinguished by their smaller size and flatter skulls. They have black triangular markings between the eyes and nose, and the tip of the tail is often a different color from the rest of the pelt. I'm not incredibly picking when it comes to which species is chosen for inspiration for the Dux Lamia. My top two picks would probably be the fennec fox and the red fox. While it's called red, the red fox actually comes in a variety of different coat colors (examples 2).

The physalis alkekengi is called Winter Cherry among other names, like Chinese/Japanese lantern plant. In Japanese, it is known as hōzuki, and in Europe, it is called Fairy Lights. In the language of flowers, it means "lie" or "fake." The physalis alkekengi, as the names Chinese/Japanese lantern plant might suggest, resemble paper lanterns used in those countries. They are identified by their bright orange to red papery covering over its fruit. I decided to call it Winter Cherry here to avoid confusion with Chinese/Japanese paper lanterns, and because the genus/species name is pretty long. But when it comes to certing, any of the names for it are acceptable.
