"Ooh! Iw-Sissy! Stowe has pwetty tings!" Seth pointed out, voice never rising much above a normal talking level. Ily followed the toddler's gaze to the pet store. Well, it was better than the last two stores he had pointed out in their little 'adventure'. More like Damon wanted to sleep and told her to babysit. Not like Seth wouldn't be content to curl up with him and sleep too, but she was sure he wanted her out of the house more than keep Seth preoccupied.

"A pet store? Alright, we can go in," she replied, allowing Seth to uncoil from her torso and climb down from her shoulder. As the door opened, the first thing the toddler noticed was the strange tanks with odd scaly things. As the boy got closer, he realized it was snakes that resided with.

"Ooh! Iwwy! Dey wook wike me!" he gasped, making his way over to the tanks as quickly as he could only to press his face really close to the tank that resided next to the one Kieran was attempting to climb into. It was certainly amusing to watch him, flicking his tongue out and mimicking what the strange snake was doing on the other side of the glass.

Seth’s green tongue snapped back into his mouth as someone spoke next to him. “Huh? Oh... Weally nea’ snake, yeah,” he agreed, not realizing the strange creature could be talking about him. It wasn’t like he was actually used to anyone other than Damon or Ily since he had left the facility only a few hours ago. At least, that’s how long his sister had said it was. To him, time really didn’t have a meaning except by where the sun was within the sky.

“Does yoo’s wive hewe?” Seth asked curiously, still picturing the strange dark butterfly person as a resident of the store. It didn’t even occur to him that the creature could be a kid with wings. Like he had really seen people with those kind of wings running around as Ily carried him around town.

"Odd? No, I don' wive hewe. Sissy bwough' me hewe," Seth replied simply, coiling his tail a bit so he could sit back instead of waste his energy standing up. Well, standing higher than usual anyways. It wasn't like there was a real difference other than how much energy he wasted doing each.

"So why you in dere?" he asked, blinking as the light finally cast the other boy's features into view. He was... purple? Weird... Then again, what wasn't weird about a boy with a snake tail instead of legs?

Nap? Seth’s ears perked up considerably at the fairly simple word. “Oh! Sowwy. Di’n’ mean to...” he replied, suddenly feeling really guilty. Napping was one of his favorite things to do and was almost sacred to the sloth boy. After all, there wasn’t much that could beat napping in the warm sun in his opinion.

“It is? Weally?” The naga boy moved closer but was careful to stay out of the boy’s way if he did end up climbing down. The heat from the lamp looked like it would be perfect to nap under, much like the sun outside. “Ooh... Wook’s nice too.” Now he REALLY felt bad for disrupting the spawn’s nap...

Seth smiled as Key accepted his apology, glad the boy wasn't all that upset at him. "Tanks. You is too," he replied. The boy's smile instantly grew at the offer to join him in the tank for a nap.

"Really? Sure! 'M Seth," he replied, glancing around to figure out HOW he was going to get up there. The lack of legs was going to make it difficult. Unless...

Slowly, the boy arched himself higher and higher, using his long tail to push himself up. Once able to, he grabbed onto a shelf and pulled himself up and onto the same ledge the aquarium tank was on with the nice warm sunlamps. It was definitely a good thing his tail was longer than most people's legs were at his age.

Seth panted softly from the shelf ledge, exhausted and wishing he could nap right there and then. But, the tank would be a lot nicer and warmer than the cold shelf. Not to mention the purple-skinned boy would be there WITH him.

At the offered hand, the sloth toddler found himself taking it and using it to pull himself into the tank with Key's help. "Oof. Too much work," he muttered, settling happily into the large snake tank. It was a good thing his tail was extremely flexibly and could flow along the tank's terrain without much irritation on his behalf.

Seth giggled as Kieran reached out to touch the orange-y red feathers at the end of his tail. It seemed like a lot of people wanted to touch the soft feathers lately. Slowly, the tail fluff of feathers were brought closer to the purple-skinned boy, giving him permission to pet them. "Pwetty?" he asked curiously. Some people just wanted to touch them due to their color while others seemed to just want to touch them for being, well, feathers on a scaly body.
