Kieran felt so detached from everything. Without Roman around the twin was free on his own, but all he really wanted to do was enjoy the silence and sleep. But Natalya had succeeded in dragging him out of their home and into some foreign place where the spawn had never been before.
It was chilly -no wonder Tally had forced him into a pair of shorts and a hoodie- but oddly enough Key found himself liking the temperature inside of the rink compared to the outside summer heat. And there were girls and guys in weird outfits, some which were really sparkly.
So how come Tally wasn't in anything special? Kieran frowned as he watched his sister shrug into a pair of the sharp skates. She was just wearing shorts and another tank top. "Lazy." He commented to her as she started to clop down towards the rink.
"I'm not being lazy, Key." Tally replied as she held onto the railing and put a foot onto the ice, "I just don't see the point in wearing that type of stuff for a quick practice. Now are you sure that you don't want to learn? I can teach you~" The preteen grinned at the younger spawn who quickly shook his head no. "Now see, you're the lazy one."
Kieran leaned against the railing and watched Tally as she began to warm up and then get into some serious movements on the ice. And for a second -not that he would ever admit it- the spawn was actually finding himself tempted to try as well.
His gaze went over to the smaller skates that Tally had left sitting there on the bench. With a sigh, Kieran headed for them and started to play with the laces. Out in the rink Tally noticed and was slowly skating her way back over to the railing. One way or another she was going to get her little brother out onto the ice.

Some younger kids were practicing a strange game in the corner that involved shooting a small black thing into a net. The boy presently trying this was short and thickly built for his age with messy black hair that had rainbow tips, and two large colorful tentacles that were seemingly cheering him on. When he sank the shot, one of the prettier boys in a spangly red outfit cheered and the boy rolled his eyes.
However, as he was doing this, he happened to glance over and spot a very pretty young girl with colorful hair that he recognized. "Hey! Tally!" he called, skating over fast to say hi to her, "Remember me? I'm Steve. We met at a shoe shop." She was looking at some purple kid on the benches, "He with you?"

"Oh?" Tally swiveled on her skates in surprise before recognizing Steve. Woah! He really had grown since she had last seen him. Grinning she nodded, "I remember. How've you been?" The preteen peeked over at Kieran with a nod. "Yes. I've been trying to drag him out here on the ice, but he tends to be a bit..." Tally paused thoughtfully as she looked for the right word, "Antisocial?"
At this point Kieran had managed to get the shoes on and was looking for his sister. With a frown the spawn noted the boy that had approached Tally and moved forwards towards the rail. "Tally." He called out softly while studying Steve. Who was he?
"Key." Tally giggled as the younger spawn started to slip across the ice. "Hold on, I'll grab you." With ease of experience Tally skated over and led him to Steve. "Kieran this is Steve. Steve this is my younger 'brother', Kieran." She smiled, "Oh! I just realized something - you both are lust and patience. Cool right?"
That new knowledge just made Kieran stare at the stranger all the more. If they were the same...then how come they looked so different?

The boy smiled when she remembered him, "I've been great and you?"
When Tally left and returned with her brother, smiled at the somewhat younger boy. "Hey Key. Nice to meet you." At her explanation however, his eyes widened, "wow, we're the same combo? Cool. Nice to meet you." It seemed he had no problem with the idea that this kid was the same combo as he was and looked totally different.

"I've been alright." Tally smiled, "We've moved though so I'm gettin' used to that along with him - though he was a package deal." Her antenna flashed as she grinned with amusement, "Twins. Though different as night and day him and Roman are."
"Ah." Kieran gave a curt nod to the older boy as he held onto Tally's leg. Really he still couldn't believe they were the same combo - maybe it was because he had no idea what his 'parents' looked like? Probably. "Too weird." He shook his head as his wings fluttered helplessly behind him.
Rolling her eyes at Kieran's disbelief the preteen looked back to Steve, "So...what brings you here?" Her eyes glittered mischievously, "Are you gonna get a suit on and start doing figure eights?" Grinning she was obviously teasing as she had finally noticed the game going on in the corner.

Steve snorted, "Naw, my brothers and moms do plenty of that, I do not need to start." he said, pointing to several of the figure skaters.
Looking down at Key, Steve stuck out his tongue in a joking manner, "You want weird, Boris'll give you weird." he teased, patting the tentacle on his left side, which curled up in a fighter pose as joke.

Tally raised a playful eyebrow, "You saying there's something wrong with figure skaters?" Her arms crossed though her wings fluttered behind her reflecting her happy mood. "Bet I can skate faster."
"Boris?" Kieran frowned before grinning, "You name 'em too?" He looked at the tentacles before reaching out a hand. So weird. Yet it was kinda cool - the toddler was confused. How come he got tenty thingies while he had wings? This whole combo thing really was weird.

"Yeah - they wear sparkly spandex." he joked back sticking his tongue out at Tally sassily, before grinning at Kieran, crossing his arms and stretching out his tentacles.
Boris stretched out to one side, looking strong and it's googly eyes taking away from that, meanwhile Natasha curled under and seemed to curiously poke at Key, "The thick one on the left is Boris. The thin one on the right is Natasha or Tash. She's the nice one."

Tally actually laughed, "I like that sparkly spandex sometimes!" She looked Steve over mischievously before adding, "I think you'd look great in one. We could get you a rainbow one. With extra sparkles."
"Tash...and Boris?" Kieran blinked. Did everyone's tentas have their own personalities? So weird. Grinning the toddler poked back at Tash and even tried to pat her before looking up at Steve. Though he slipped on the ice again and Tally had to catch him.
"Key, I really - really need to teach you about skating." She commented with a laugh, "Else you'll be slipping all over the place while you're on the ice with us." The younger spawn just stared at her with a look before letting out a soft sigh.

Steve winked at her, "I dunno, I might scare the other guys around here with my manly physique." he teased, flexing his arms jokingly before laughing.
The boy nodded a bit to his 'brother', "Yeah. Mom named them after some villains on a tv show." he said but didn't get to do more than that as Kieran slipped forward. Natasha reached out to wrap around his arm and pull him up a bit, sending Steve into an awkward position. He managed to maintain his balance but did look silly for a sec. "Whoa, watch it there."

Tally let out a laugh, "Oh?" She asked before grinning at his flex, "I guess so." Her wings fluttered behind her as she helped to support Kieran who was all over the slipping on ice part.
"T.V. show villians?" Now that was weird. Though Kieran frowned, what exactly were those tv show villians? Slipping again, he felt Natasha wrapped around his arm and the spawn nearly hissed in surprise. But he understood that it was being helpful so he nodded, "Thanks." Unlike Roman, Key actually enjoyed being touched and found himself distracted by the rainbow tentacle.
Tally, however, had caught Steve's awkward position and was trying her hardest not to laugh at him. Covering her mouth to hide the grin there the preteen stared out across the ice.

It seemed at the very least, two of Steve's brothers had seen it. Roshan and Riya - each in sparkly leotards, red and blue respectively - were across the ice and laughing hysterically at their elder sibling's ridiculous posing. The older boy turned and stuck out his tongue at them, flipping the bird for a second and leaving his brothers staring in shock and amazement. Steve wasn't supposed to be doing gestures like that! It was RUDE!
Turning back to Key and Tally, the boy rolled his eyes exaggeratedly at his siblings, "Yeah, like the bad guys. They're spies." he explained as Natasha uncoiled from the younger spawn's arm to pet his hair gently as she was glad he was safe.

Tally had to cover her laughter at the exchange between the boys, "You know them, I'm guessing?" She commented lightly between laughs. Though she suddenly had more of an insight to Steve's dislike of figure skating outfits.
"Oooh, spies?" Kieran tilted his head before frowning, "They don't look like it." Weren's spies supposed to be hard to spot? But Steve's tentacles and those two other boys were really colorful. Though his frown melted into a small smile for the tentacle that patted his head.

STeve rolled his eyes, "Yeah. Those are two of my brothers." he explained, rather embarrassed by their gettups. Honestly, didn't they have ANY shame? Seriously?
"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, my mom didn't understand the concept of spies at the time. ANd I was too young to protest or know either."
