After saying good bye to her Father and step-mother, and giving the twins kisses and hugs, the black haired sixth year had been sure to take up residence in her normal compartment. Her friends would join her later, but for now she felt it necessary to watch the crowd out side her window. It wasn't often she got time alone so she was using it to think. Not just think on something for a moment. No, she was actually thinking over her actions of the summer for once. Fifteen fights with her step-mother over the twins. Those two had to feel lucky. No one else could love them enough to get in a fight fifteen times over their mothers way of treating them.
Sighing, her gaze went up to the bird sitting in the cage above the seat across from her. She never put Hayley above her own head in fear of not being able to see her when she needed help with something. Her hand went up to a a cross at her neck. She sat there holding it for the moment, closing her eyes as she thought about all her problems. They would be over after next year, she was sure of it.
