When exactly had he stumbled upon this twisting and turning maze? Krioni didn't recall when he noticed that he seemed to just be going deeper and deeper from where he had found it. In some places, he would get frustrated if he seemed to find himself turned around, but he was a determined thing. The spotted cheetah had no intention of dying in complex of twisting and intersecting paths. He counted himself fortunate that he had eaten quite a sizable breakfast before finding the entrance to the labyrinth.
It was certainly an interesting change of pace from the dead forest to the dried up river bed. It had been a thoroughly dull and non-engaging landscape. It must have been some stroke of luck that he had stumbled upon that cache of food and water. Krioni hadn't dared to lay down to nap in that strange and unfamiliar landscape, but his curiosity and his growing need to find a way out kept him moving.
After a time, things changed which caused the cheetah to slow his pace and stare astounded. A sweeping field of lush grassland, prey animals dotting the terrain. He had made it! Krioni gave a gleeful whoop and jumped around in circle with all four paws leaving the ground. He took a tumble and rolled over in the grass before sitting up again, laughing. It was a miracle! He thought that maze went on forever. As he caught his breath, he paused. Wait...What if this was too good to be true? What if he had died in that maze and this was some afterlife of some sort? Krioni glanced around, drawing his ears back and gave a huff. Some afterlife! He still felt tired, feeling like he hadn't slept in what felt like a full day. The idea of being eternally drowsy sounded like he got gypped. The male flicked his tail moodily before rising to his feet again.
Well, no point in dwelling in the past. He'd probably get used to it. Besides, he wasn't necessarily dead. He certainly felt alive and kicking. Maybe he was just super lucky. All the same, he hesitated in the first few yards of the start of the grass. What do do with himself now?

Stouffe had been watching him; just like she'd been watching all the other animals that were finding their way into her kings domain. This one had found his way into their lands with out them wanting him too; but her king had said to just leave him be; and when he starts to get close to watch him. So they had. And to be quite honest, Rags liked what she saw. Here was an obvious fire gang member. Though his age was a little less than comforting, most of the people that they had in the Moto'kundi were adolescents, though there were a few adults in there as well. Though Rags did her best to try and not associate herself with that group. But she had to admit; he was a bit cute for a cheetah, jumping around all excitedly like that.
Her scouts had pegged him for not being a fighter, so Rags decided the best way to approach him was to play a trick on him. She liked this little trick she used to do to their goblin god; mimicking him by popping up out of nowhere. Though really she just used the tall grass as a camouflage.
She pressed forward through the tall grass; moving slowly and quietly and attempting to go out of his sight before popping up a yard or two away from him. "Hello~" She called brightly before going back down and making her way through the grass to another spot and popping back up. "Congratulations!" She told him as she repeated her earlier movements to yet another spot before popping up. "You've made it to the land of the goblins!" She told him cheerily; which was a lot easier to do now that she wasn't pregnant.
She stopped where she was finally and smiled at him warmly. "My name is Ragdoll." She told him, though it wasn't her real name... but who needed to know that? I mean REALLY now? "I've come to greet you in the hopes you'll join our pride of mischief makers." She announced sweetly; a half sort of smile on her face now as if she herself was a trickster. "But first... What's your name? And how did you like our Labyrinth?"
The second part was always the most entertaining question to ask. Becuase she always knew when people were lying to her. Most of them lied and said it was a piece of cake, and she knew hiding in the shadows were a few hoggles giggling amongst themselves about how much that particular animal had complained the whole time they went through the labyrinth.

The cheetah was weighing what to do with himself. He could stand to eat, his meal from the cache beginning to wear off a good deal. He also definitely wouldn't pass up the chance to nap, but he'd prefer to find a place out of the way and out of sight. He wasn't exactly thirsty, so he was fine in that aspect at least. Krioni stood with ears turning this way and that as he drank in what he saw. At least the air was fresher and moved better than inside that danged labyrinth.
His wandering attention was snapped back when a lioness popped out of the grass a few yards from him with a bright greeting. It startled the daylights out of him, to think himself absolutely alone when someone else pops up close by. He had jumped slightly, tensing, his tail lashing behind him as he looked around the grasses as she had disappeared again.
Okay, now he was more curious that startled. He straightened himself before rocking back and balancing on his haunches to rear up to see if he could see down into the grass to try and spot the lioness. Where did she go? He may be tired and marginally hungry, with the slight possibility of being dead though that was unlikely, but he wasn't crazy. Spirited, yes. Expressive, certainly. Overly energetic, you better believe it. But, crazy? Not in the slightest, at least in his own humble opinion.
Krioni would have greeted her when she initially saluted him, but he preferred being able to see his conversational partners, at least for more than a second or two. At being congratulated, the cheetah sank back to all four paws and blinked. Had he accomplished something? Well, he had managed to get out of the maze...That was something. "Goblins?," He mused aloud before focusing on the now visible and stationary lioness. Well, he wasn't dead then. That was always a good thing to have confirmation on.
He flashed her a bit of a smile upon learning her name. "Howdy!" He chirped. "Nice to meet you, Ragdoll." Odd name, Ragdoll, but apparently this was the land of goblins so maybe names were different here. Krioni blinked, looking taken aback for a moment. An invitation to join a pride? Huh. And a pride of mischief makers at that. Well, mischief was always fun to take part in...
"My name is Krioni." The male said brightly, cementing his statement with a nod. He paused before answering her second question. His expression did little to hide what he was thinking. 'You really want to know what I think about your Labyrinth?' After a moment, he snorted and answered. "Exhausting! Didn't sleep a wink! Though I suppose that's my own fault for not stopping to rest at all." He began to let his mind wander but shook himself back to the subject. "It was entertaining and frustrating, but good exercise for the mind and body." Krioni gave a stretch, feeling the muscles that he had worked the most on his trip through to this place.
He sat down and heaved a deep sigh. "I'm beat and glad that I'm out, but interested and curious about all of this."

Rags nodded her head listening to him. Krioni. She would cement that name to memory. One of the first animals to get through the maze with out them previously knowing about them in the first place. That was a rare occasion; this was a unique cheetah. He had her approval even if he did seem like he belonged in the fiery gang.
Rags listened carefully for his response; and when he finally gave it she burst out into laughter. The god of the labyrinth would be happy to hear that for sure. She thought to herself chuckling a few more times at the thought. "Good. That's how it's supposed to be." She said honestly. She always got so angry when there came any animal through her that said their labyrinth was. Once they'd had a lion male come through bragging about how easy it was. She'd gone and gotten two of the biggest Ludo to chase him back through the labyrinth and make him so lost he was stuck there for days until he'd found his way out and run away from their home forever.
But his reaction to thier labyrinth; was one that she could respect. And the look on her face said that. She raised herself to her feet and nodded her head towards the prey beasts. "Come with me Kirioni. And I'll get you something to eat. And there's a clean pond to drink from as well."
She told him walking towards the prey beasts; moving through the grass easily her body's muscles moving in a sleek sort of a way. She was built like a ludo; but she moved like something else entirely. She was a mix of a Ludo and a hoggle. She was the unofficial queen of this pride; and she had made it a point to always look impressive and stunning. Despite her terrifying pelt.
"What would you like me to get you?" She asked looking over her shoulder and stopping now that they were closer to the prey beasts.

Krioni blinked, a little lopsided grin on his face, when Rags burst out laughing. He did so enjoy making other laugh, even if he didn't quite know what he did that made them laugh. "Ah, then it did what it was meant to." He stated brightly, his grin straightening itself out.
"Oh, food and water would be welcome." Krioni said, surprised that she was offering to get him something to eat so shortly after meeting him. "Let me help though. I can chase something your way or something. I'm not big enough to take something big down on my own, but I am a hell of a runner."
The cheetah followed along after the lioness, keeping himself low, his steps light. He had always walked softly. He used to revel in surprising his siblings and parents by sneaking up on them. Krioni found himself surprised by the way she moved. She was built solidly, but she moved with such ease. Powerful and yet exceptionally graceful. "I don't need too much." He whispered, since they were closer to the prey beasts. "I can stay put if you prefer."
He paused for a moment, body low and still in the grass. "Could I sleep somewhere afterward? I'm going to be dead on my feet if i don't. There must be certain places to bed down, right?" Hm. Maybe after all of his needs were met, a tour might be in order.

Rags honestly wasn't all that hungry. She planned on catching something small. maybe a goat perhaps? Oh no! There was a boar. She smiled to herself . She pointed out the boar to him. "That one~ I'll go and get it for you. You've done well making it into the heart of our home. Let me reward you with a free meal." And truely it wasn't really a free meal. He had had to work hard and prove himself to earn this. Some of the goblins she knew that hadn't been born in the pride looked back on this meal as one of their sweetest. Though they all knew it was really just fond memories playing tricks on them.
She motioned for him to stay where he was. She would let him eat and drink until he was full and then take him to a Den for single members and allow him to get his rest. And tomorrow or maybe the next day she would have another member show him around. And inform him more on the pride and how it worked.
She smiled as she crouched down even lower and started moving through the tall grass; her tail tucked down and close to her body so that it wouldn't alert the prey beasts. It didn't surprise her that they were scattered already. They must have seen the new member enter into the pride. They knew what would happen next. She could almost taste the fear that they gave off and when she could taste the fear of something made decidedly out of pork; she took off towards it. Picking up her speed and running so as to cut the boar off.
With in moments she was close to it; there was only so far the boar could run that didn't reek of animals just waiting to jump out and kill it. So she pounced going for its legs; swiping at it's back hooves to knock it off of it's feet and send it tumbling to the ground. Slamming her other paw down hard and onto it's chest; breaking a rib as the boar gave out a satisfying squeal. She made it's death quick but she wouldn't say it wasn't painless. She was more then certain that the boar had gone out in a pained manner.
When it was done moving she smiled and lifted her head looking around to see what direction the other was in. "All clear!" She called to him.

Krioni looked over to the indicated prey animal and gave a little nod. The hollow growl from his stomach did well to echo its approval of the choice as well. "Thank you, Rags. I appreciate the gesture." He said with an offered smile. Apparently he was more hungry than he thought, probably from all the wandering around and the prospect of maybe being dead, which by now was very clear that he wasn't.
He blinked at her motioned suggestion before sinking down into the grass, his tail lashing back and forth more sluggishly this time around. He would wait for a signal from her to give him to go ahead to move. Hrg. Sitting still and waiting was doing well to let him know just how beat he was. Glancing around, Krioni tried to follow her, but seeing as both she and himself were crouched down, it was a little difficult, so he listened instead.
There. The sound of chase, the hectic rustle of grass from predator chasing prey. His ears swiveled back and forth as he listened to the alarmed panicked cries of the boar that Rags had singled out and overtook it. Was that a crack? Wow, talk about an efficient huntress.
Upon hearing the 'All clear', the male rose to his feet looking around, spotting her a distance away. Making his way over, her offered her a thankful smile before his face shifted seamlessly to surprise then embarrassment. His stomach had given a loud, needy hollow growl. Giving a little chuckle, he dipped his head to her. "I guess I'm hungrier than I thought. Thanks, Rags." He inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of the fresh kill. He huffed a sigh and after giving another little nod to the lioness, he tucked in. Krioni ate healthy, not fast enough to choke, but quickly, steadily.
After a short while, Krioni had slowed to a stop, backing a few steps away from the remains. "Ah, you do beautiful work...So, what to do now?"
