Welcome to the Growth Center.
The purpose of this forum is to request a stage advancement when you feel your character is ready to take the next step in their life at The Asylum.
::Growth Waiting Period::
How long your character must wait before they can advance.
Baby - Child: 2 Weeks :: 2 RPs needed
Child - Teen: 3 Weeks :: 5 new RPs needed
Teen - New Patient: 1 Month :: 10 new RPs needed
New Patient - Intermediate: 2 Months :: 15 new RPs needed
What about the other stages: They are special stages only to the most dedicated patients.
: razz ricing::
Oh yes, there is a price to advancement, if you are looking for something extra.
Straight Growth, no changes:: Free
Minor Edits:: 5k
Light scarring/addition of markings, simple hair cut/growth, light simple accessories, ect
Moderate Edits:: 15k+
A group of minor edits, complex accessories, bags, change in something in the current outfit [i.e new shirt, shoes or pants, ect. No whole new outfit], addition of clothing, more moderate hair changes, ect.
Heavy Edits:: 35k+
Addition of complex/detail clothing, highly detailed accessories, complex hairstyle change, change in outfit, ect ect
Makeover Edits:: 200k+
Patient Makeover/Redesign of the patient. They must still obviously look like them,but you are basically asking for a design in the hair, an ENTIRE new outfit of moderate/heavy edits, ect.
Note: Colorists have the final say as to whether your patient falls under makeover, or one of the previous slots. If your patient is asking for a new outfit, but it still falls in to the theme of their previous wear, or is close to their previous wear, the colorist can say it is easy enough to be Heavy/Moderate Edits. However, if your patients is basically starting an entire new wardrobe, and is jumping to a drastic change/new theme, then the colorist has the right to call it a makeover.
Why is the Makeover slot so expensive?
You are basically asking the colorist to erase their previous work, the theme and "character" they had applied to that patient and are requesting they make a whole new patient to your beat. You are, in a sense, customing a whole new person, like turning a "geek" in to a "God", a "bad boy" in to a "prep", thus it is labeled with a custom price.
Note: Colorists have final and full say on what category certain changes fall under for them depending on their skill and how they feel about certain requests.
Also, you never know, you could get away with the addition of some minor edits for free if the color feels it is simple enough to just be near nothing~
::Outfits for Child and Teen::
Because child and teen stages require outfits that are different from the patient stages, the fee for them are a tad bit different.
For free, you are allowed a SIMPLE outfit. Basics of a simple shirt, pants/skirt and shoes.
Anything going beyond that goes by the fees above in the first section.
