Well I mean no one in my family really dislike it.
My mom is letting me do an all MCR 18 birthday party.
And aunt is working with her boyfriend are helping me with catorigraphy (sp?) and my daddy is payin, so no body really real cares, they just rather me listen to Spanish music.

My family loves MCR. Three years ago my mom was encouraging me to date a boy "who looks like Gerard". I'm not even kidding. Around that time, my grandmother thought Frank was super cute in the Three Cheers era and thought I should get my hair like his (the black & red style.) <3 Everyone let me skip a whole day of school to see them play from the barricade at a huge arena show, even my teachers (who told me to call in sick so they wouldn't get in trouble for letting me skip.) Everyone's usually cool with my musical obsessions. I'm allowed road trips to see shows, and big purchases, and stuff like that.

my rents pretty much support it... my dad doesnt really like the "explicit content". who cares? im not making him listen to it.
I just made this forum cos my mom shut off the radio when teenagers came on yesterday. i was screaming in the parking lot of the store.
nobody pulls the switch on my MCR

LaLaFunk my rents pretty much support it... my dad doesnt really like the "explicit content". who cares? im not making him listen to it. I just made this forum cos my mom shut off the radio when teenagers came on yesterday. i was screaming in the parking lot of the store. nobody pulls the switch on my MCR
Haha, MCR is rarely ever allowed as 'car music' with the exception of songs my mom saw the videos for, and even then she has to be in the right mood. Kind of understandable though; I wouldn't want her to force me to listen to Joni Mitchell or anything. We try to pick stuff we both agree on.

My dad called MCR's music devil music and thought both me and my sis were devil worshippers for listening to them at one point...my mom doesn't even give them a chance...she calls them noise...and for that, I blast them as loud as my radio goes whenever they piss me off > biggrin

OH. I was watching the live dvd last month and my mom came in the room and was like, "THIS IS NOT MUSIC. THIS IS JUST NOISE." I hadn't heard that from her since my high school days so I was all nostalgic haha.

we had a debate in history last year.
well, not really a debate.. but the point was to come up with a change in the law and persuade ur class to agree with you. but it ended up as a debate. theres this one guy and he wanted to ban "din music"
he was staring at me the whole time.
I objected and called rap din.
he got real mad.
he had 2 leave the class.
cool *wins* cool

i HATE rap. with a passion. my english teacher got mad at me last year during our poetry unit. she asked us to write down things we already knew about poetry. i wrote abunch of good stuff down. then we had 2 share our best one so i said: "rejected poems get converted to rap" she got mad. she loves mcr. i knew that. what i didnt know is that all her other fav musioc peoples were rappers.
