Ha she kinda looks like Toph! XD Umm.. yesss... it all layers correctly aside from the sweet qipao and v-neck shirt. They're both on the same shirt layer so they can't be worn together.
Shorts do layer under the qipao so that would be okay...
The only alternative I can think of is using a green baseball undershirt instead. The sleeves might be too long though.

The only alternative I can think of is using a green baseball undershirt instead. The sleeves might be too long though. Tis a cosplay avatar ninja I go through arena sometimes and find rather crappy cosplays and create my own of the character. I don't like the show Avatar but I do like the characters design XD As for the baseball shirt, do they have a short sleeve version? If not do you have any idea for something green that would cover the top of the arms and still work for the cosplay?

Of the green undershirt items, the baseball undershirt has the shortest sleeves and they still go halfway down the arm. Um, sometimes random CS items end up being undershirts so... it could be possible that there's a short-sleeve green undershirt out there, but none is coming to mind. It irks me because I used to know every Gaia item by heart. There are just... too many items now. XP
XD I tried thinking of something off the top of my head to replace sleeves when I wrote that post... but nothing came to mind either. u .u; I've wanted short bolero-ish jackets that, well, just look like sleeves for a long time. XD It would make a lot of these things to much easier.
You could also try using a green shirt plus a beige apron item (like kanoko's sweets) but I don't know if you'll find a beige apron the right length. Maybe something like this~ http://www.tektek.org/avatar/38025492

Sorry, I left for the weekend.
I don't like the way aprons look because the top doesn't look right. I realize the flowers on the top it has now don't go with the cosplay but I like that better than the top looking wrong because it's made different. The baseball undershirt is too long, I checked. The other undershirts ore either long sleeve or the starter military tanks gonk

Ah. I prefer the apron because it's flowerless and you can see some of the green shirt at the neck. Toph is tough and a tomboy. The only way she'd be caught in floral fabric is if someone lied and told her it was plain. > < She can sort of see with her feet and the vibrations in the ground, but I don't think she'd be able to see fabric print....
x -----X; And i just found the one-and-only Toph avatar cosplay. Yeesh. Yeah, even the flowers are much better than that. That sucks about the undershirts. Whoa~ since when were the military tanks an undershirt? o: That's awesome!

-doesn't watch avatar- I know nothing about the actual character, I just like the way she looks >.< Guess I'll search for something flowerless... if I can find something. I didn't know they were undershirts either O_O How's this? Idk if it layers or not either though >.<

I know, it's all good. ^^ I'd finally realized that I should say why teh flowers were rubbing me the wrong way.
The other big thing about that character is that she 'sees' with her feet. So she always keeps the bottom of her feet bare. I think the shoes you picked work well because the bottom are flesh toned-ish so you can pretend that they're sole-less. <.< >.>
I like that more than the apron idea, totally. o:
Problem is, you're still trying to equip two shirts. > <
The coocoon moth hair shirt was my next best guess, but it looks awful. u .u

Makes sense. I actually picked those shoes because the bottom was the tan-ish color and they don't really have a lot of options for anklets/legwarmers.
I an thinking about just using the baseball under shirt. I can't seem to find anything else that will work D:

Yeah I don't usually pay much attention to cosplays so I'm not normally all into the details. If someone has made as close of a copy as they can with Gaia's available items and it looks close enough... then it's all good. (And by available items, I won't always fault someone for not owning a perfect 3mil gold item when a cheap gold shop item gets the job done. ...Unless it's an overdone cosplay that's won many times before, but anyway~ )
I just thought I'd mention those things since fans of the show would probably eat that cosplay alive over those details. XD;
Yeah, we're still in need of more legwarmer items. A friend of mine really wants spats. That sort of item would help here. XD The journal has green legwarmers, but that item looks nothing like shoes. :/ So they're not helpful. u .u
As to sleeve length... uhhh... that sort of stuff doesn't bother me as much. If it's the best you can get on Gaia, well then it'll just have to do~
