The Drunhild family had gone to the picnic event just for fun and to simply get out and enjoy the time together though many of them had wandered their separate ways to enjoy certain aspects of the picnic whatever suited their fancy. There would be fireworks later on in the evening but for now there were games to attend to.
Puck pulled at his sister's hand with a bit of a laugh. Mnemosyne was off playing with some other children and it was time for him to get his big sister all to himself! He didn't mind sharing his sister with the other little girl but sometimes he just really wanted to play with Wynni on his own, "C'mon! Let's enter one of the contests Wynni!" Puck laughed as he pulled at her and she trotted after him with a small giggle.
"What one, Puu-chan?" Wynni asked and Puck paused and stared up at her.
...That was a good question!
Puck stared about at the ongoing contests and then fidgeted a little, "I wanna play that egg catch game!"
Wynni nodded and took the lead toward the gathering that seemed to be handing out the implements for the game.

Adhara realized just how much weight Adelle was losing when she had a chance to piggy-back the girl to a Fourth of July festival. She had her daughter up on her back, legs wrapped around her waist and being held onto by Reena and Niita while Kammy and Sutry hugged tightly onto the bases of Adhara's wings. Adelle herself was a perfect bundle of energy, age never depleting her childlike wonder for everything around her. As they neared the fair, however, they'd both agreed that it would be less dangerous for them to walk normally, at least so there wasn't a pair of razor-sharp wings at eye-level to everyone else.
Adelle slipped down off of her Mama's back as soon as they were at the entrance, skipping into it a little deeper with wide brown eyes. Oh, this looked much, much better than the supposed 'festival' that she met Kyler at only a few weeks earlier. Surely, this would be more fun that the other one!
"So, Mama, what're we gon'na do first?" Adelle chirped happily, grinning up at her mother with that un-tiring enthusiasm. Adhara chuckled softly, looking around the whole fair as Reena and Niita investigated the strangers.
"Actually, I'm not sure, hun. There's a lot'ta games, though, why don't we try to find something fun?" the woman replied a bit awkwardly, smiling at her daughter, who bounced a bit more and nodded excitedly, grabbing Adhara's hand and dragging her off into the fair, ignorant to cries of 'slow down!'
