Today I spent my afternoon visiting one of the RNs from my work who had a heart attack last week. She's gonna be OK thank goodness.
But I can't help but think WTH:
~I was in hospital for a week a fortnight ago with post-op complications from surgery I had in May.
~The second night I was in hospital, another girl I work with was sitting in her car at an intersection and was hit by a drunk driver. Screwed her neck and collar-bone up.
~The next day our mutual friend jumped in the way of a boiling pot of water to save her toddler from getting covered and got badly burned on both legs.
~Another RN has just had surgery to try fix a knee injury.
~And another RN tripped over a bucket and broke her arm in several places and has been off for two months.
~And prior to that I was walking to work, fell flat on my face and shattered my wrist.
