Kei Aoi's Office
Fourth Division, Captain

Kei Aoi's office is a medium-sized room that seem cool (not the awesome one) when looked at. It is a circular room with paned windows that goes as tall as from the room floor up to the ceiling level; the entire half of the office is walled with these windows. It can also be seen that a solitary desk lies in the middle of the office with several papers lying across it (they seem about paperwork, medical references and Kidō). There is also a single but huge bookshelf on the right side of the room (by looking from the entrance) that contains a lot of reference books about medicine, traditional medications and healing Kidō.

At some moments, Kei Aoi can be seen either taking a nap or writing some stories during his free time in this office. There will also be moments when he is doing some serious paperwork here. However, whenever he is not in this place, he can either be in a mission or in the healing room and lending some hand.

Kei Aoi
Division Captain
Fourth Division, Seireitei, Soul Society
Kei Aoi's Office [1: 263]

Kei Aoi was standing by the windows, looking out across the Seireitei and deep in his thoughts, when the door slid open and his company entered. The captain sighed for a moment, detaching himself from the unknown stresses, and then turned to meet the two figures before him. He gazed at them for a moment as they knelt and then greeted the high-ranking officer. "Please, rise. And good evening to you, too." Kei softly said, taking a seat at his always-cluttered desk and then gestured at the seats before the worktable. "Please, have a seat... As far as I am informed, we have some things to discuss, yes?" He added with a smile.

Actually, Kei Aoi had no yet formal meeting with the two figures before him. What he only knew is that these two figures before him were valuable assets to the Fourth Division, being that they were big investors to training and equipment supplies. He didn't know anything personal regarding their company, whether they have served the Fourth prior to Kei's appointment as the head or what. Their looks didn't help revealing anything warm either as they looked rather "straight to business" kind of people. And then, Kei wondered, what would their visit bring the captain?

The Fourth Division captain pulled a tea kettle and then brought out three cups. Diligently, he poured tea from one cup to another and then laid down the kettle. He leaned back to his chair and then took a sip at the tea, ready to deal with the business matters brought by his present company.

Kei Aoi's Office [2: 328]

The queer-clad man then proceeded to place himself before the Fourth Division captain and then introduced himself as Doctor Niviasha. Kei found it extremely piquing about his "doctor" title but he decided no longer to question the man, deciding that the question is unproductive and uninteresting. Apparently, this figure before Kei also happened to be somewhat important for he had an escort even in the grounds of Seireitei; what danger could happen to a visitor of the Fourth inside the grounds of the main force of the Gotei?

When all of the sudden, Niviasha stated that "they" were at war. Kei's grip of the teacup slightly trembled upon hearing this and then his eyes gazed wondering about the thoughts of the man before him. "I apologize, Doctor Niviasha, I seem to have misheard you." Kei Aoi responded softly whilst putting the cup slowly upon its saucer. "But you seem to have claimed that 'we' were at war. Certainly this claim of yours is a manner of figures of speech? What do you mean?" He asked, completely baffled by the claims of the doctor.

This was followed by a completely serious demeanor from Niviasha explaining about the importance of his claims. Kei Aoi felt an invisible pressure coming from the information he was receiving from such an anonymous (but beneficial) figure. "Yes, I am well-aware of your contributions and developments to the utilities of the Fourth Division, Doctor Niviasha. But certainly your claims and opinions is a manner of extreme sensitivity... and must be regarded with utmost regard. I need you to elaborate more." He said softly, gazing at the serious eyes of Niviasha.

When Niviasha informed Kei about his letters to the captain, Kei's eyes widened in wonder. "I... I have not heard of this. I have not heard from your company regarding letters or requests. Was this so?" Kei Aoi uttered, developing as slight paranoia to the tidings brought by the man before him. What was amiss?

Kei Aoi
Division Captain
Fourth Division, Seireitei, Soul Society
Kei Aoi's Office [3: 212]

Naturally, as soon as everything stopped in motion (with Niviasha in his mid-sentence), Kei Aoi heightened his senses to its fullest extent, expecting a fell aura around him. He did not like it at all and for that he was only moment upon pulling his blade, which was seated to his right side. But something held him back, awaiting that was about to happen. And then something did happen. A figure appeared before Kei yet on the other side of his office, away from him yet also too close in proximity. What was this?

A voice called out and began to inform him of strange tidings. Time remained eerie and frozen, a strange and queer power to behold. What was before Kei? He wondered again. Yet, even as the figure spoke of very deep things, the captain could not process what he was saying. Something about the "fate of the world" and "two souls". Kei was baffled. He was just an experienced medical practitioner.

After a time, the voice fell silent and Kei found the courage to speak up. "I do not understand." He said softly, looking directly at the entrance of his office, hoping to see something. "What is this that you speak of, anonymous informer?" He added with a sigh.
