I found this one on eBay, it's the tenth doctor's http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230494057190It looks pretty cool, and it comes with the vortex manipulator that Captn Jack/Eleven used... I need to convince my mom to buy one of these for me smile Anyone else own a sonic screwdriver? Does it sound authentic?

I have one. it extends, light up, makes two authentic sounds, and the bottom end is a removable pen part. there's regular pen and invisible ink pen that can be revealed with the light. so much awesomeness for about 15 bucks. I'm happy. xd

I'm happy. xd I got that same one from a clearance shelf in a bookstore near me. It was covered in dust because it'd been on the shelf so long. When the new sonic came out it was gone the next day. 0_o

I got mine from a comic shop called Dragon's Lair. but that's probably not much help to you unless you live in San Antonio or Austin.

I keep it in its box smile my parents got it for me for christmas a while back biggrin was like 30$ for them though, *shakes a fist at international travel charges and weight*
