The calm grassy plain seemed completely silent and peacful as nature went about its daily routine until a small patch of ground began to shake violently and crack about two yards from the being who had just appeared there,the ground was being broken through by something underground as it slowly made its way above ground causing dirt and dust to cover the small area in a cloud of debris hiding the entity responsible.

As the dust cleared a tall human skeleton with bleach white bones could be seen standing over a dark hole in the grassy plain that it had crawled out of and it stared eerily at the man with its two empty dark eye sockets,suddenly green lights eminated from the eye sockets as the shadow of the skeleton slowly began to move along the ground and snake up the bone of the creature bonding with it and completely covering it as if it were forming into something else.The shadow formed into a long dark flowing cloak with a hood that covered the skeletons skull and covered the rest of his body as if hiding his identity as a light black mist seemed to eminate from the being,slowly skin began to form over the skelatons face creating a more living likeness of the being but his eyes still glowed a bright firey green as he never broke his unearthly stare with the man that was opposite him two yards away.

The cloaked being just stared in silence as he folded his arms across his chest as black mist lightly clouded the area where he was standing while he began to sense the properties of the man infront of him,a black crow circled above the being and then flew down perching on his right shoulder while shrieking loudly breaking the silence as it didnt seem to pay much attention to its surroundings.

Kain had finished analizing his opponant and he now knew he was of vampiric origin and had formidable power and strength from the aura that eminated from his body,kain watched the man unsheath a magically enhanced blade that had a greyish glow about it and it seemed to be a spiritual sword as kains calculations were very thourough.

"Im sure youll be very impressed with my skills" kain said calmly as his voice echoed in a ghostly tone across the grassy plains causing a chill to run down the spine of anyone who heard it,kain had slain vampires before and knew not to underestimate them even for a moment so he was prepared for anything this being could dish out while he extended his right arm and forced his gloved fingers upwards slightly toward the sky.

As kain did this the vampires shadow began to move along the ground until it slowly took a solid form standing right behind king,it was an exact clone of king except completely black like the shadow it was and its red glowing eyes glared at him from behind as it stood ready to attack him whenever kain commanded.

Kain observed the incedible feat that this creature was attempting but was seemingly unimpresed by his use of abilities since it would make it harder for kain to attack him,the shadow saw king turn his attention away from it and it opened its mouth wide and spewed black toxic fumes at him that would burn the eyes and hurt the lungs of anyone that breathed it as the black smoke clouded the area.

Kains eyes glowed as he raised both his arms up slightly as the crow flew off of his shoulder while the ground around him slowly began to crack fifteen feet around him with green light eminating from inside the cracked earth.

Kain noticed after the split second attack that his ethereal wraith armor which extended a few inches around his body had withstood the attacks but had taken sufficient damage from the mans blade making it almost impossible to be used again until it regenerated some more,kain turned and smirked at the man seeing that he was still in the vicinity of his attack and slowly began to clench his open hand into a fist as his eyes burned light green balls of flame at king.

"I guess ill actually have to use my more powerful attacks on you" he said as as the green light eminating from the cracked earth became brighter and steam rose up as the heat began to increase around them,in a split second intense green fire shot up out out of the depths of the ground in a fifteen foot radius around kain and his opponent while the flames rose up six feet high burning continuously engulfing the small grassy plain they were standing at.

This green fire was netherworld fire and it not only damaged you physically but it also damaged your spiritual essence aswell depleteing any life energy from any living being it touched while it burned intensly enough to melt steel,as this was happening kings shadow slowly sunk into the ground through a dark portal disappearing from view as the flames continued to burst forth from the ground.

Kain smiled as the fire died down around him and he watched the man repeat his attack once more and kain was all but ready to evade this despite the speed of the slash,kains eyes glowed brightly as the mans sword sliced into his side as his green lava like blood splurted out at the man and covered his weapon most likely burning into them.

As kain was hit his entire body burst into a black cloud of smoke that slowly dissipated until he seemed to have disappeared entirely as he used the air molecules to teleport in half a second five feet to the left of king in another cloud of smoke after he attempted his last attack,kains eyes glowed brightly as he glared at king while two thin eyebeams made out of destructive green energy flew at kings left shoulder with incredible speed.The shadow that had been hiding from earlier used a dark portal to attack king from under his feet attempting to grasp his ankles to hold him in place while the energy attack was going on.

Kains eyes were occupied with the beams but his hands were free and he grinned evily as he moved his hands together forming darkportal that looked like a black hole int the air as it appeared two feet infront of him as he stopped the energy attack,kain stretched the portal to the size of the man and stood behind it using it to sheild him from the man and hopefully teleport him to another location.

Kain knew his opponent was moving at such a fast paced speed that it would be hard for him to evade the portal or think quickly enough to get out of the way and would be sent to the shadowlands were he and kain would finish this battle.
