I used to watch soaps back in the day when my mother did, an will occationally watch All My Children when I'm with my partner and she hadn't seen that day's episode yet (she tapes it every day that she works). But no...I'm not really a soap girl myself.

i don't watch any soaps! most of ours are just too despessing though, or full of dizzy blondes. i only watch tv at the weekends and that's to see the american stuff, go figure.. my favourite shows are Charmed and C.S.I and i totally loved Dark Angel when that was on. most british tv now consists of home make overs, reality tv shows and all the bad stuff that america doesn't want anymore such as..scariest police videos ever and crud like that

I very rarely watch TV, maybe an hour or two a week xp The only thing I must see is CSI whee My sister is completely addicted to Days of Our Lifes (is that what it's called?), and she's trying to get me hooked as well xd

Jason was addicted to All My Children for MANY years, and had to watch it daily. He got used to watching it with his mom when he'd come home from school for lunch, and he just had to keep up with the characters and plots! So while he watched a lot of it, I saw quite a bit of what went on in that show... He hasn't watched it recently though. Now he likes shows like.. Orange County Choppers, or other motorcycle/car rebuilding shows.
We watched American Idol and The Swan together though. Those are the only shows I really like to see. Oh, his favorite is The Simpsons, and I used to have to watch Friends every day, but I got behind around the time Rachel had a baby.

other people's tv habits do have an effect on you. mine will stay off for days, gathering dust, but when i lived with my ex it was always on. but he's one of those people who switches the tv on as soon as he comes in the room. so got into some of the soaps just because they were on. but i didn't keep it up once i was living on my own again. my sister is a friends freak, everyone had to buy her one series on DVD for christmas. but she's a student at uni and it's tradition that all they do all day is watch tv!
