As Hashsha’shin trotted along the lands, the day seemed to be coming to a close. So he paused where he was and glanced towards the sky. The sun had just begun to set; just as it did so bright colors began to invade the sky. Blue, red, orange, yellow, it was as if the colors were never ending. “Why had he never noticed this magical thing before,” he wondered to himself. All this time it was right in front of him and he had never seen it before. “Wow was I blind,” he said aloud for the world to hear as he stared at the magical wonder that was now before his eyes.

Shanta wasn't the cleverest of lions, she was probably the most sane out of her litter but then with her lineage there was always some confusion about everything. The general confusion today was that she didn't know where she was. Being a seer one might expect some part of her to be at least a little clever but nope, never happened. Her seer powers were strange and they worked from pure emotion which she never seemed to have much of being mostly confused all the time.
So today she was walking without the slightest idea as to where she was. The sun was setting but she didn't care, she never found that interesting, well she might have as a cub but she didn't anymore and if she ever did she couldn't remember. It was just the sun going to bed.
The sound of someone speaking though make her ears twitch. She didn't see anyone but then she wasn't really looking. She still didn't look, she just heard words. She really wasn't the smartest of lions.

Hashsha’shin listened to the world around him as he stared above his head. Though as he listened he thought he would hear silence, but instead he heard footsteps. Was he going crazy? Since he hadn't seen anyone when he was walking earlier. Now normally he wouldn't have cared about a single noise, but tonight was different.
Just to be on the safe side though, he decided he better check it out. So only taking his eyes off the sky for a moment, he looked around the land surrounding him. "Hello...?" He whispered into the night, "is anyone out there?" His voice sounded slightly unsteady as the words came out of his mouth.

Shanta's ears pricked as someone called out but she didn't bother turning around. She let out a yawn and jumped up on to the nearest boulder she found. She then decided the best thing to do was to wash her paws, after all they were now sandy and dirty and needed to be cleaned.
Shanta let out a soft sigh after finishing washing one paw and then looked around a little. She knew someone was out there, she could hear them but she couldn't feel them which means there was no strong emotion. Always a good thing.
She was perfectly visible now and though yes if she turned around she probably would have seen the lion she really didn't seem to have the brains to think like that and so she stayed quite happily where she was.

As Hashsha’shin stared into the land, he watched as the lioness came into his view. The lioness had a white marking on her face similar to him, though his was much larger. Still it was something he had never seen before, and he was in awe. Now his eyes were no longer locked on the sky, but instead on the new night arrival.
The more he stared in her direction, the more he began to think to himself. "She must had to have heard me if she was that close." Was she just being rude or did she just not want to talk to anyone. Neither one seemed right to him though. Then there was something inside made him realize, maybe she just didn't hear or see him. After it was beginning to get dark out and no one really payed attention at this time of night anyways.
So he decided to take his chances with the new female. Slowly paw by paw, he walked up beside her. As calmly and quietly as he could so not to spook her to much, he spoke, "Hi there. It's a nice night tonight, huh?"

She knew he was walking towards her, she didn't know how she knew but she did. Of course she knew, she knew everything. The world and the stars and sky and the moon, yep she knew all about them. In fact to be honest it was probably one of her less sane days, they happened every now and then.
"Hmmm..." Was the only reply she could give, her thoughts elsewhere. He had mentioned the night and so her thoughts turned to that and she looked up at the sky, how the stars all twinkled. They were pretty, stars. Always up there staring down... they spoke to her they did, thats how she knew everything.
"Name?" Oh yes, she had no manners what so ever.

The greeting from the female was definitely unusual and not at all what he had expected. Though he decided he would answer her anyways, since this conversation could turn to be quite interesting. So he thought for a minute before he walked one step and turned to face her.
"I'm Hashsha’shin, though you can call me Hash. Or whatever you'd like really," he said with a smile as cooly as he could. "An yours is?" He question curiously since in all honesty he loved knowing names. It made conversations a bit more easy to make, for it made him feel as if he knew them. Even if he had only just met the person minutes ago. So he glanced towards the sky once, as he awaited her answer. Just wondering how she might answer this time around, and what kind of person he was in the company of on this fine night.

"Shanta."
He had a long name, she didn't like long names much. They were long and so had to remember more and so she nodded and made a note to call him Hash because she could remember that.
"Cool."
She really wasn't in much of a speaking mood but then her moods went in and out of sanity and insanity so often that it was sometimes hard to know whether she was being normal or not. In fact most things with her were rather hard to understand and make out.
If she had anything else to say or any notion on what conversation should be like she would have probably asked him something else but she didn't know what to say and so she stared at him.

"Shanta," he repeated with a slight grin, "nice name. Short and sweet."
After he said that he for once had no idea what to say. So he just started back at her, trying to figure out exactly what type of lioness she was. He was not used to having issues reading lioness like this, though tonight as he looked at her something happened to his thoughts. What it was he had no idea, but he stranglely liked it. She was a mystery, and who doesn't like a good mystery?
"yah," He replied still staring at her," though tonights air is far cooler than my name. Its almost like a perfect night, don't you think?" As soon as he said that, a thought popped into his head... "what if she was hinting for me to leave this whole time, and I'm just annoying her now." As that thought ran in and out of his mind, he took in a deep breath and laided down next to where she stood. He knew inside he needed to keep his cool, since he didn't want this lioness to think he was a complete fool. Not just yet anyways...

She just gave him an odd look as he spoke about the air and night but she then just shook her head and laid down as well. She looked up at the stars and smiled at them, tilting her head slightly. She then rolled on to he back and started trying to pat them with her paws.
She would attempt to pat a couple of them before giggling and trying to get some others. She wasn't all with it in her head and she didn't care in the slightest whether he stayed or went. She wasn't really one to care about company.

As he watched her begin to paw at the sky he let out a chuckle. All this time he was worried about what she would think and she was just being herself. Maybe its time I start being myself a tad bit he thought as he jumped on to the ground landing on his back. It sure didn't feel to great landing on his back like that but being in the presence of a female he knew he couldn't show pain. Even if he wanted to he just couldn't since what female wants to be with a wimp of a male? none thats the answer he had gathered in his head. Though quickly he shook his head and went back to what he was originally doing.
"Mind if I join you," he said very cool and casually sounding. He didn't wait for her answer this time around though. He just suddenly began to paw at the sky towards the wonderfully lit stars. Though he was actually beginning to have a bit of fun and chuckling as each of his paws went towards the sky.
