 Today was just like any other day for Seizken. The sun had risen and that meant it was time for him to begin his day. First on the list was to hunt for his breakfast meal. Since every lion did need to eat, whether they would admit it or not. Though unlike the day before today seemed different, like something was out of place. Though he just couldn’t put his finger on what it was. “Hmm…” was all he murmured as he walked along the ground on the outlands. The further he walked the more he forgot about his time to hunt. Now all he seemed to be thinking of was what was different about today. Though thinking wasn’t a bad thing he did forget one important idea, and that was the idea to watch where you’re headed.

"Stupid over grown black piece of dung..." The curses came out of her mouth freely, occasionally it would be her moaning about something else such as the ground or the birds flying too close to her head. She had already shouted at various things that morning that got in her way. They really should know better but apparently they didn't and it just annoyed Miye even more.
He was gone. Completely gone, probably with another lioness breeding more cubs... they were all failures his cubs, Afu... she was the biggest. Not that Miye had the slightest idea what her daughter was doing or that she led a pride. Afu was a failure because she looked too much like her father and Miye hated that. In fact Miye hated everything.
She just walked along cursing everything, there was not one thing that she really cared about. She just wanted everything gone and she wanted her mate back where she could keep an eye on him but for all she knew he was dead. Though she was certain he had ran off with another female again, always the younger prettier ones with him.

Seizken stuck his head up into the air, since maybe it was the air around him that was different. As he took a wiff, he smelled something he couldn't believe. The scent was of another ... lion? How could that be, since he had wandered for a few hours now and not seen another living thing. "it can't be...i mean I came out here to avoid others..." he whispered to himself silently. So he repeated the smelling of the air once more, to calm his mind. He quietly closed his eyes and sniffed as if he were looking for prey. The scent it seemed close for that he knew for sure. "oh boy..."
Little did he know it was closer than he had thought. The smell was coming from a few feet in front of him. If only he would have openned his eyes he would have noticed, though he didn't. By the time he had realized it, it was to late. For He had walked right into the lion he had smelled coming...

Miye had been quite happy walking along minding her own business and moaning as she wished. She was far from impressed when someone walked into her.
She turned snarling instantly. She wasn't the nicest of lions, she was getting old and she liked to have a good moan.
"What were you doing you over sized idiot?" She snarled, her voice was harsh and unwelcoming. She didn't like anyone, not anyone at all. In fact she hated everything all because of her good for nothing mate who she hoped was dead in a ditch somewhere though at the same time she missed him huge amounts.
She missed his big black body next to him... but no now she had this idiot to deal with. Walking into her like that! Pathetic!

"Oh my I'm so sorry, are you alright?" Seizken asked as he quickly tried to regain his footing. If only he hadn't been worrying about the smell, maybe he would have seen the other lion. Though no instead he had to run into right into her. "How smooth," he thought to himself quietly as he tried to think of what to say. He knew nothing would really be a good enough reason for running into her, though he decided to just say the truth.
"Well if you must know I was searching for something," he said back to her in a bit rougher voice. Seizken wasn't really fond of being called an idiot, and her tone with him was makng him a bit upset. Sure he had just run into her, but its not like it was on purpose. Plus she could have easily have gotten out of the way, if she were paying any attention herself. Though he decided to try and keep his cool, after all it was a unique day. Despite that he had to run into someone along the way...

"Why don't you find it then... and it tends to help having your eyes open." She snapped at him like a parent would to tell their cub off. Miye had birthed a cub many many moons ago and now she had no idea where her daughter was. It probably wasn't a bad thing, she never wanted to see her again anyway.
She flicked her tail harshly behind her. Her body she held high but in a threatening way. It would take a very patient male to keep her in check, just like her old mate... who wasn't patient and go so annoyed with her he mated with every female he laid eyes on.
"Are you going or standing there all day?" She hissed at him, clearly not in the best of moods.

"What do you think I'm doing?" Seizken said trying not to flip out on the lioness. Though her tone was about to make him explode in anger on her, he stayed calm as he could. This month had already not been the best of months for him as it was and some female trying to act like she was supreme was the last thing he needed to deal with, or so he thought as he began to reply once more. "An your right it does help to keep them open, I'm sorry I just have a lot on my mind these days..." he said quieter than his last comment.
As soon as he said that he began to search around his body, wondering if what he was looking for could be right around him and he not even realize it. As he was looking it just answered back to her question, "Well if what I'm looking for is around here I just might stay standing here all day. What about you? Aren't you going to move anytime soon or are you just going to stand there and be grumpy all day?" he said in a slightly mocking voice. He didn't mean to rude and he definitely did not want to come off as such but this female was unlike anyone he had ever met before in his life!
