What addons do you like? Are there any you feel you couldn't play without?
For me, it's HealBot. I couldn't even imagine trying to heal without it. It makes healing so stinking easy.
I also enjoy recount if I'm playing a dps, just so I know where I stand.

Carbonite has been a huge help to me. It shows me where to slay enemies for quests, where the person is to turn it in to, alerts me when enemy players are near, and has a map that is much more useful than WoW's.

I also use Gear Score to show me how good my gear is and how much of an upgrade or degrade an item might be.

Also, Deadly Boss Mods is wonderful. I set it to give me raid style warnings on what bosses do to me or other people. It helps with healing and staying away from raid members that might hurt me just by being near me.

I used to use carbonite, but since WoW added their own quest helper thing, I haven't gotten the new version. Although Carbonite is a lot better than the in game one.

Healbot for sure.
Altoholic, helps with keeping track of items and what I need to restock on everyone.
It's also helpful since it displays everything (profs, money, what's in their bags, number of badges and rep) on any one of your toons on any server or fraction.
Atlas loot, such a helpful little addon.
And last but not least, DBM.
You can always tell who doesn't have DBM, they never move when it says to. rofl

Only one addon I can't stand not having..

Bartender. I can't stand dealing with blizzard's default ui. I love having small butons and have them in the middle of my screen.

I suggest Rating buster. It shows you the exact stats you gain or lose. Gearscore is only good to putting pugs together to get an idea of how far someone has been.

Seen so many people going for gear that isn't good for them because it had a higher ilvl.

But yes, Rating buster..Awesome addon!

I'm guessing bartender is like the dominoes addon. There's another one that does the same basic stuff, too. Can't think of what it's called. My boyfriend can't play without that addon, mostly because he plays more by keyboard than by mouse. I've tried it and I really can't get used to it. I keep forgetting what button does what, so I just point and click, which is easy enough to do when you're a caster since most things have a one second global cooldown.

Edit: Bongos.. that was the other one.

Gear Score has had an update, but I think it's been there for about as long as I've had it. You just have to hold shift and mouse over new equipment that you have or are rolling for. It too shows exactly how many points or up or down you will go when you equip it as well as the sockets. You can type /gs like you would for an emote on another person or do a search for a person that you have moused over or inspected before to look at their gear and it shows a percentage out of 100 to see how effective their current gear is for all 3 specs.

I recently added Atlas Loot, which is a big help.

I also enjoy recount if I'm playing a dps, just so I know where I stand.

I've never used healbot, I just point and click, I just set up the default and action bars in an efficient way. Never used Recount, not sure where to get it, but it is interesting to see the stats for healing, damage, and damage taken.

I have a hard time paying attention to everyone's health and buffs and magic based debuffs and diseases without Healbot. Healbot gives me all that info right there and gives me a single place to click to give buffs and cure magic and disease. It just makes it so much nicer.
As for recount, best place to get it is curse.com. I know you can get it other places, but I really only trust Curse.com for my addons.

I couldn't live without healbot, plain and simple. my main toon is a healer, I only raid on her, I can't even see myself healing without that addon. It is a crutch, and I Know it is, but that doesn't change the fact. if healbot somehow broke nad become unusable for all time, I'd probably give up healing, unless I found another alternative that was almost as good if not better.

I love my carbonite as well, and armory is great, and I really like tiptac because it makes my tooltips so nice and pretty and extra informative just like I like em.

I use way too many addons to name them all though, haha. but yeah, healbot would be the big make it or break it addon for me. The rest I have a feeling I could learn to live without if I had to, but healbot is a must.

DBM is definitely a must for me.

And despite what everyone says about healbot, I tried that addon and couldn't stand it. The only addon I use for healing is decursive. I don't NEED it persay, but it makes it so much easier. Especially in fights where there is a lot going on (back when Ulduar was the current raid, decursive was the only way I got through yogg saron lol)

I use a ton of add-ons that I turn off and on when I need them.

Carbonite
is a must for me when I'm leveling, but I turn it off when I'm raiding or just doing dailies.

DBM - I think everyone should use this boss unless they have access to WoW Heard or some other guide, I can't count how many times DBM has saved my butt >_<

x-perl - Just because I like to have a clean and neat interface

Atlas-Loot - Because I'm OCD and like to plan all of my gear

Recount - Just because I like to know if I'm sucking or not (and how much everyone else sucks in my group)

GearScore - I really hate this addon but it seems like a must have. I pug a lot of raids because I don't know many people on my server (I started brand new without knowing anyone but my boyfriend). I hate the gearscore standards though, I don't think it's necessary at all. When I played a year ago I guess I quit right before the big Gear Score rush started, and to be honest the game was so much fun without all the superior snobs running around =/
