Naiya's Theme
Kitsune Form

Physical Description: Naiya is the average height for her age, yet at the same time is a little bit taller. She takes advantage of her height like teasing those who are smaller or just leaning on someone else’s shoulders. Her skin is a light brown color and when in the sunlight it shines different hues. Naiya does not wear makeup like some girls do, but others do question that. Taking good care of her body is what every girl should do and if it means eliminating those nasty products, then that is what she does. Her lips are slightly coated with what seems gloss, but it is natural. Then there are those tattoos that are on her face on some in other various locations. The ones on her face are her brand of being a kitsune, one different from the rest. Their colors vary depending on a person’s eyes for in the shadows and light they change. In similar cases the colors that stand out the most are a sea blue or a space purple. The one tattoo on her forehead is really the mark that changes when she comes across different emotions. Usually minuscule the flame mark does not branch anywhere, but when angered or come across an unfortunate event her markings do change. The other tattoos on her body branch off of the designs on her fox body, such as diamonds or flames.

A characteristic that Naiya favors the most is her eyes, for they are an icy blue that seem to hold stars in their grasp. She likes to make quizzical looks most of the time and can hold an audience captivated with her expressions and eyes. Then there is her hair that seems to cause the most problems for her. The color of her hair is debatable, because some could say it is snowy white or light silver. Her front bangs are cut straight across her upper forehead, but when she lowers her head the bangs do manage to cover her eyes and give her a dark look. The front of her hair is much longer than her back and is characterized usually when she lets it rest on her front shoulders. When she removes her hood you will see that she does have some kind of hat hair proportions. Her hair flips upwards in a chaotic motion and on the back of her head her hair comes to a flipped point. The hair on the back of her head is cut very short, while the front is left long.

Now Naiya likes to make people think about who she is before she really announces it. So placed upon her head is something that someone could figure out who she was, but it leaves questions in its wake. Wearing a kitsune mask on her face or on top of her head is another symbol of which she is, but she only likes to wear her mask in battle or when she is playing some games. Her usual attire consists of a black cloak that usually has the hood up. An assassin like appearance seems necessary for the keeper of shadows, but when the cloak is removed it is quite shocking to see what is underneath. Naiya would like to keep her feet bare most of the time, but if she has to she will slip on some wooden sandals.

These are her more human characteristics while her kitsune may show off at times; it is more the animal like qualities that stand out. Underneath her hood or mask are two large fox ears, but unlike some whose are fluffy, hers are sleek and pointed to a straight tip on her top of her head. This spear like appearance can be closely resembled to a guard dog or an animal that is quite mean. Her tails are of course shown off most of the time, since it is hard to hide them. Like her kitsune body the tails are quite long and sleek, sort of bushy but soft to the touch. Darker in appearance than most she likes to pretend that she is the animal more than the human.

Personality: Naiya has not gotten to know her fellow kitsune so she likes to keep her boundaries when around them. Yes she does know who they are, but that distance just seems to suit her better. Not that she is cold or even likes to hurt people in necessary ways, it is just that feeling of not being held down by others keeps her wants and needs in check. Friends are earned through the most tiring of aspects and when you give up, they give up on you. Loyal and determined she likes to think of herself as the last case person. When people need her she will definitely be there, but to help more than make something happen. She likes to change fights into more of a game than something that needs to be done now. Her playful nature is also quite extreme in the same ways, and not in that cute childish way.

When she is determined to something, she will make sure it is a show to hold all captivated. These games of hers are sadistic and usually end up hurting both people in the end. That feeling of adrenaline that courses through her veins and inner being want her to drive forward and want her to make sure the person hurts. A coy smile will creep up her face, but it is not a smile that someone should love. Her personality takes a back flip whenever in such a situation and she finds herself craving things that only a rabid animal would want. Puzzling people and making them thing about their own existence is easy for someone who does not know the answers. Almost mad it may seem she may seem, but those lost in shadows and darkness can see the torturous details of what really goes on in someone’s head.

With distance again this also makes her personality, let’s say, confused. One moment she can be a good girl, helping out those in need or acting like a little angel. But along with her playful nature it is like trying to play a game of catch with a hungry and enraged tiger. Acting serious sometimes comes across this kitsune, but only when she really needs to concentrate on something or make a plan. Naiya is quite mysterious in her own nature, because she leaves many questions unanswered and never colors in the lines. Even so she is a powerful player in this game that goes on, so do not leave her out if you can help it.

Being a coy fish is fun if you can play the game correctly or lose in the same way. Naiya holds things rather accordingly to a plan that is set out by things unknown. That curious instinct rather makes it hard for someone to communicate with her, because you could be speaking to her about something, then she could change the subject almost immediately. Her strange antics and unusual characteristics make her so. For one reason, she has a similar disorder to schizophrenia, a mental state in which she cannot tell the difference between the real and unreal. Some people do have a hard time relating to her, because they say she is mysterious and powerful at the same time. She says at times she would rather live in the streets than with a specific group, which leads to her more loner type attitude at times. Naiya trains frequently to let herself grow in power in body and in mind, but mostly in achieving a real realization of what is around her.

Mystic Dagger Name / Description:

Kiba no Shadou [ Shadow Fang ]

Shadow

Kiba - The basic design of this dagger was made for more defensive and brutal attacks. The blades edges were made so when formed in a parrying stance that the tips would catch onto the blade and be able to grasp and hold onto it. With also the angels that they are at and the blade being curved it is easy to come back with a counterattack and make the enemy lose their focus. The rope across the hilt of the blade was made for an easier grasp and with the two strings coming across the end the blade can be altered into a long distance weapon if needed. With the dark color of the blade it is easy to see why it was chosen to be a shadow weapon and it has many perks.

Weapon Abilities:

- One's True Form: From the tip of Naiya’s hilt there is the skull that was formed there. That skull begins a process of the fight that begins with the blade. Unlike most blades that do not have characteristic or are subject to change, this one does. When the skulls mouth opens like a yawn then the fun begins. Shadows will pour out of its mouth and with it comes the molding of a new weapon. The shadows will pour across Naiya’s arm and down her leg to become something like that of armor on one side of her body. Then the blade is able to change depending on how she sees fit. With the shadows manipulating the dagger it can take forms such as not being just a dagger. Sword, gun, spear, whip all of the possibilities are available, and none are weaker than the other.

- Shadow Sight: The other ability of Naiya’s is passive and easily can determine the fight. Everyone has shadows, you cannot rid of them even if you try to. So it is easily acceptable that Naiya would see someone’s shadow. Shadows linger behind or in front of a person and since this ability is passive, then the opponent is left without an option. Naiya’s own shadow acts of its own accord so like a separate member it can take a hold of anyone else’s shadows. Such as at a single glance Naiya can hold a person’s shadow like if she were holding the person’s arm. Without the opponent being able to move she can easily take her time, because all people are captivated by this ability. Even when a person is moving she is able to spot that person’s shadow and easily stop them in their tracks. This ability of hers makes everyone a victim and she can do whatever she wants with them now that they are in her embrace.

- Victim's Remorse: One’s shadow is easily apart of their heart and soul, or just simply a part of the very person. Naiya has gotten to know that pretty well and she knows that a person can feel almost invisible without their shadow. Like the ability from before she is able to see that person’s shadow, taking a hold of it and making the person almost completely useless. But what would happen if that shadow is severed from the very person? Well Naiya is able to make such a thing happen. While her opponent is immobilized she uses her dagger to cut the shadow from her opponent’s body and take it in her own hands. Think of this like a card board cut out of a person, except it is a complete reflection of who she is facing. Using her blade that is filled with shadows she can literally stab through the shadow, making the same attack upon a person as if they were in her grasp. It is all real fun and games when you are the puppeteer.

- Inflicting Pain: This ability of hers can be seen as one of her worst off, because it is one where there is actual combat needed. As said many times before shadows are everywhere and Naiya is able to grasp and take control of those shadows. When Naiya has inflicted an attack or if any wounds are inflicted upon her opponent that is where she strikes. The light instantly comes upon the wound of her opponent, creating shadows on that specific area. In an instant she can see that wound and from there begin to tear the person apart. The wound may seem small at first, but a constant clawing will begin to descend upon it until finally it may appear as if small shadow like fiends are making the wound even worse. Infection and on can cause the person to die slowly, or by simply using that wound to expand through the person’s body Naiya can eliminate that person almost immediately.

Fox Transformation Description

Fox Form - Beginning stages of a transformation are hard for shadow users, because it is like death itself. Unlike Naiya’s counterparts who either shift physically or into their own element, something drastic happens. Once the decision has been made to change into this dark form happens, there is no going back. First an invisible barrier is set so no one can interrupt the process of what happens. It feels like an eternity of pain for Naiya to transform, but it only takes a couple of moments. A black shadow crosses the field and like a swarm of flies begins to destroy the very flesh and being of the human that was. When the flesh, organs and bodily insides have been destroyed there is only bones left to take the place of this new form. With nothing to keep the joints together the shadows act like the new tissue for this body and keep the bones together. Then in another wave of darkness the new flesh forms in a ghastly howl. Falling down to all fours the tails first form in thick waves and then the shadows inevitably take over the new body. The shadows settle down and then wash away into the orbs and tails that surround the body of this kitsune. The purplish black fur is a symbol of the darkness that is in this form and the small crystals that float near the shoulders, back legs and forehead represent the power. Unlike the average size of a fox, Naiya’s form is about the size of a small horse, except the obvious traits of being skinnier. Her build is that of one who has been training for the longest time and is a merciless hunter. In her fox form Naiya is more at home and deadlier than ever.

Fox Transformation Abilities

- Shadow's Attack: The field will become Nayai’s new stage where the fun is just beginning. Shadows swim across her body and will slowly seep into the earth, making it appear as if new roots of a tree are growing. From her mouth shadows creep out like a waterfall and enhance her savage teeth. These shadows are used to enhance all of her abilities and make her a deadly opponent. With a howl she will release dark energy upon the playing field, entrapping her enemies here. As the energy grows the field will begin to crack and form a chaotic event. This new development in landscape helps Nayai because she uses the change in environment as barriers or a quicker way of getting to her opponent.

Another benefit to this change is that the shadows are finally released into their own forms. Shadows and darkness are located everywhere, so where there is a shadow, Nayai can easily transport her to that location. It is like slipping through a whirlpool; you go through the opening and end up on the other side. With the menacing pools of shadows everywhere Nayai does not have complete control of what they may become. Some have minds of their own that can change into specters and fight for her, or become streams of energy that latch onto an opponent like leeches. Once those streams of shadows latch onto a person there is no stopping the attack unless you properly destroy your own limb. The effect is painful which Nayai enjoys. Also these shadows do not affect her, because she is the entity of shadows and if they touch her, they just simply join once more with her body.

- Bone Delicious: One of her more excruciating attacks, Nayai completely removes herself from the shadows. That means from her form the shadows slip away and in the beginning stages of her transformation she changes back into bone. In this new body she is very vulnerable, but she does not let anyone get close enough to touch her. The shadows that have separated her have become almost like a separate entity, but they are still the same. The bones that Nayai is consisted of are like diamond, hard to cut or break. The shadows that were once body are mainly used for a barrier and may come on and off at any moment. In this attack everything of Nayai’s is enhanced like her first ability. Since her composition is like that of a diamond her claws and fangs are sharper and since there is no form outside of her bones, she may use any of her bones to make an attack. In this form she is almost in a rampage like state and almost nearly impossible to stop. But also seeing such a form is cruel and maddening. From her mouth it can be seen lost souls have been eaten and those are still alive howling out in pain and misery. Using these distractions of lost souls they can distort someone’s senses by their constant howling. Her tails also in this form are deadly, because they act like launching spears on a chain. Included also from the tips of her tails shadow like beams can be shot off, causing immense damage.

- This that Never Was: Nothingness is the composition of everything, it has the chance to change and maneuver, but no one may able to see it and consider it nothing. Grasping the idea that there is nothing one can think that what they see is nothing. People with logical minds do see everything, but those who see nothing know what there is to be. This attack takes patience and also a mind not worth knowing. Nayai makes her mind slip away from what was reality into unreality, but stays on the edge of what there really is. Events may happen in a row that no one can predict and this attacks each time changes. Once there was a time where the future was set in place or when everything was in black or white. Those senses of the opponent become nothing and thus they become everything. Nayai may create doppelgangers of herself, but she refrains from doing so, because she may lose everything if she does. Threads and spindles go throughout the area, formed from shadows. They are sharper than anything imaginable and even if you are a distance away, you may move back from it with a scratch. The information that has been gathered inside of Nayai makes it hard to sort through a difference or a concrete form. These spindles are a defense, but the real everything is the attack. From nothing comes everything and then there is the nightmare. This concrete form is what of what used to be and may resort to any form and take away what is yours. Almost incredibly invincible this unknown force is everything and may attack, using nothing but everything to make the opponent disappear.

- That Which Comes: With what has come to pass may become erased according to what is there. Nayai at this time may have become a part of the otherworld and her body possessed by what that comes. Many forms and entities may enter depending on where she is located, but she is still aware of what she will do. Her body shimmers and those of blades and objects may come to no harm. If a blade is stuck through her, the shadows inside of her react and absorb the blade, making no damage to her and she is now only vulnerable to kidou based attacks. But also now she has the ability to use her body as the weapon of shadows and also the ability to completely disappear. There is of course always a guardian for Nayai and that guardian appears once her mind has gone. The guardian is consisted of nothing, but unlike the nightmare before, this being is that which comes. There is no definition behind this attack yet and Nayai can never remember what happens afterwards. Only once this has been used and nothing wiped away everything that once was.

Bio: Life before everything changed for Naiya was one that some do not find as often. The records from such ages are scarce, because of the fact that everything was written by hand, which Naiya did not have the pleasure of knowing. The life she lived was quite different and some can find the native tribes, while others only find them as a deep fascination for the uncultured. Living in Africa was a pleasure more than a burden, for like everyone else around her, they were brown skinned and had no shame for that they believed in or wore. At the time of the beginning Naiya was the sister of fifteen other siblings, majority of them men who were older than she. It was a blessing to have so many siblings, because she never felt alone. In all though, everyone in the tribe was related to each other in one sense than the other. The chief was their father and his wife everyone’s mother, while their actual mother’s were the sisters of the wife and father. It did not come as a dishonor for a man to sleep with another woman, because the tribe would keep growing.

Their tribe was located near the base of a small mountain that had the richest soil and provided comfort through all the seasons. In her visions she could remember the lifestyle she had by being so connected to the earth and having respect for every single living thing out in the world. In their tribe they ran with the antelope and hunted the elephants, one could only imagine hunting such a creature. Some tribes did not believe that woman should behave in the same manner as man, but Naiya’s tribe did. Her mother was a warrior and had bred many fine men to cultivate their lives and to help protect the tribe. With the sons though came some daughters who would be given the task that they were born with. Many of the daughters were not suited in the lifestyle of hunting, so they would become mothers and wives to the men. When Naiya was born it was the same thing, nothing special but a decision in how she would grow. Unlike some of her sisters she was chosen to be a warrior and to hunt the zebra and gazelle.

Years later when Naiya was able to at least communicate and talk to everyone did her training begin. Not in hunting of course, but in more basic livings so she could help contribute to the tribe. Fetching water, turning over rocks, sewing and cutting open an animal were things that she would have to know. Almost like survival one-o-one, except they did not have the fancy life styles of the humans now or in the other worlds. Naiya’s tribe did not know about the pale faces that were beginning to come to their land and take their people, forcing them into the lifestyle of slavery. They did not know of this, so they lived underneath the mountain that acted as a sanctuary.

When she grew older she began to experience the hunt with her brothers and sisters. Her first kill was that of a rabbit, but when she took down her first major kill, there was a celebration. It is an initiation into adult hood and when she took down the wildebeest they feasted that night and she got to wear the skins as a trophy. The horns and head of the beast became a robe to her liking and she would wear it every celebration that they had. Hunting became easier and she always travelled with others. Disappearing into the tall grass and letting the safari sun beat down their backs was like breathing. They hardly got any trouble from lions or other creatures, but there was a moment in time when she had to come across that battle.

The lion had been threatening their tribe for weeks then, coming close enough to pick a child or even an elder. None of the warriors dared to get too close to it, because if they did that would aggravate it or cause its pride to show. Naiya had been watching the beast one afternoon and saw that it had a deep gash down one of its legs. It was hurt and badly. Like all things that grow weak it could be thrown out of its lifestyle, which Naiya concluded that it did not have a pride. She took pity on the creature, but it had harmed too many of her people. Big cats have better sense at night than most, so she would take the cat’s head during the heat of the day when it would be sleeping. Dressing in her wildebeest skin she lured the cat away from the tribe, tricking it in believing that she was really a defenseless meal. When the cat got close enough, Naiya shrugged the skin off of her and when the cat leapt, she stabbed her dagger into the cat’s throat, killing it before it could crush her.

When she returned she gave the lion skin to the chief, for it was a gift of her bravery and how she had defended the tribe and saved many people. This was an act of bravery that all tribe man should come across once in their lifetime. That night there was another celebration and Naiya was given the name “Nanigansek” meaning small point where she had used her small dagger to kill a large beast. It seemed like life was just beginning for the young warrior, but things always change when other worlds come invading another.

The pale faces had been trying to find some more of these tribe people for one reason. Slavery. They came from the land far across the sea and in a place that none of Naiya’s people knew about. So when they came it was natural that they were frightened by such pale people. They also dressed like a foreign god. Everyone was careful into not trying to provoke these people, but that was just the beginning. The pale faces did nothing at first, except make a small tribe of their own close to Naiya’s. She was curious about these people, but feared their ways, so she stayed away from them the most she could. Yet hunting was a necessity so when the tribe grew hungry, she and some of the other warriors left. Their packs of people became small, because there was no trust for the pale faces, so there had to be protection. Naiya left the tribe with a select few who could last on their own and set off into the tall grasses and fields, looking for food.

Of course it was a set up though and the white men followed them until they were far enough from the tribe. That is when brown snakes and gleaming fire was brought to their eyes and they were forced to the ground. Hardly anyone could fight, but Naiya and a couple others did. This caused for some struggle, but the brown snakes that they had kept wrapping around their legs and causing them to lose their balance. Naiya fell to many snakes until her hands, feet; waist and neck were being controlled by these snakes. She didn’t understand what these people were saying, but in the next moment she saw a rock coming towards her and then everything went black.

The pale faces had captured these warriors and left their tribe alone for awhile, because they only had a small ship to carry so many slaves. Naiya and the other warriors fell victim to this capture and all of them were forced to leave their homeland. It was unlucky for Naiya though, because she was the only woman who had been captured that day. Her brothers had told her to hide as best she could, but they were all chained to the lowest part of the ship, so there was no way to leave. The pale faces came frequently to come and see her. At first nothing happened, but they spoke their weird language to her and touched her in manners that no pale man should. The travel was hard and long and Naiya was given the honor of being their play thing on such a long journey. She was separated from her brothers and forced to stay in the quarters where the men stayed, so she was always there for them. That trip was when she lost herself as a small girl and many times over it happened. There was nothing she could do, but she would try her best in trying to escape the torture, but could not.

Her life afterwards consisted of serving others and making their hot meals perfect. She would at times come across a nice and stable farm to live on, but those homes did not last very long in the least bit. She was offered quite frequently and never had a home for more than a year. Naiya didn’t understand why she was given this life of travelling on and on. It didn’t make sense back then either for one slave to constantly to be given. Yet she knew that each time she came to a new home, she was given to the pale man personally and would often spend many nights just in his room. This was not her lifestyle that she would have wanted, but she thought about it plenty of nights. This was the cat’s revenge, she had killed it and so in return it was killing her in a painful and torturous way.

When it was time for her to move to another home she would be chained up once more and then forced into a carriage where she was alone most of the journey. Yet when her god came down to save her, she thanked the forces that ended her life. The carriage was crossing a bridge and one of the tires gave out and flipped it over into the river underneath them. The riders survived, but Naiya did not. She was forced to the bottom in chains and her life was taken away by the waters.

Purgatory and the Fox

Naiya was left with the decision on where to go after her death. Yet she was not given the option to pass on. She could go back to her home in the safari and live as a spirit there, helping the shaman to come. Or she could stay in the land that had violated her natural life. The decision was made even before she could think about it. Moving back to her life in the tall grass and burning sun was glorious; it was a happiness that she was thankful for. At first she just wandered, because she did not have a set location in where she was forced to stay. Taking in the sights was all she could do, because being a ghost you cannot feel the wind, the warmth and life around you. The animals were plenty and Naiya could remember some of them seeing her. Animals are closer to nature than any other being, because they are nature itself. She wanted to go back to her tribe though and seek out the elder there. She wanted to live her unnatural life with those she loved most. Yet when she had arrived there, it was not what she had expected.

When the ship had taken her and those other warriors there was another one in its wake. That ship was filled with men more experienced and in the next couple of days they took over her tribe. That had happened years ago, but the sight of its remains was still there. The blood had been soaked into the ground, leaving it stained. There were some remains of bodies also, bones scattered about the place and crushed by natural forces. In her ghost form she had sunk to her knees and cried for the longest time, but also she chanted. She was praying to that god who had saved her to help guide her people to a happier life than she had and hoped that the god would answer her prayers. Naiya stayed at that site for the longest time, looking at some of the items that were left behind. She saw that everything of value had been taken, even her wildebeest robe.

She stayed there for such a long time until it felt like there was no other way for her to go, but someone had approached her one day that would change her life forever. Foxes were not common in the safari, so she mistook it for a cat of some kind. They just starred at each other for the longest time and Naiya could remember the details of the beast. Its eyes were pure white, whiter than that of the pale faces. Its body was not shaped like that of a foxes either. The body of the creature was sleek and looked like it had gone through hell and back. Where fur should been there was just bone, no line in between the two. Yet the look it gave her was intriguing and she didn’t know what to take of it. Folk lore was not something she had come across in either life, so she had no idea what kitsune were. This one fox though was part of seven and had the powers beyond the others.

The day that they had met was different for Naiya as well and she could not explain what exactly was happening to herself. The kitsune had chosen her and did not wait for a compliance of any kind. Without warning it had ensnared this lost spirit in its gaze and was slowly taking its soul into its own accord. Naiya had no idea what was going on, except that she felt tired more than ever. The process did not take long and she remembered seeing the kitsune’s eyes brighten and a smile creep up its lips, exposing fangs that were the size of small daggers. Then the next thing she knew was that she was in terrible pain, like every fiber of her body was being ripped apart. She didn’t understand this pain, because she thought that she was not supposed to be in pain since she was a ghost. Yet the pain continued and she starred down at her body as it slowly began to evaporate, turning into ash before her eyes. When she looked up at the fox again it was upon her and its teeth sunk into her throat.

From her veins she could feel something overcome her and then there was nothing. This kitsune loved pain and it wanted the process to be as painful as possible, making its new host suffer and its own soul go through the torturous event. It was a game, one that Naiya had come across much. When finally her whole body shattered into little pieces she felt like her soul would be taken by her god, but it did not. The kitsune lashed out again and ate her soul whole, making its own merging process become excruciating. Again the pain flared up until finally the pain was so bad that she was screaming, but not through her own mouth. The merging process was not supposed to be easy and when their bones melded into one and their being come together it seemed as though both of them would reject each other. Yet the kitsune was ruthless and forces the ties together.

When it was finished Naiya had awoken to feel... She was feeling the grass underneath her fingers, feeling the hot sun and breeze go across her skin. The pain was still there, but she just felt the nature communicating with her again. Whatever the beast had done to her was characterized by what she saw in a river. Ears at a sharp point and a tail behind her were identified and also a mask covered her face that represented what she had become. Afterwards she did not know if her god had given her a new life or if it had punished her.

Time Will Tell

It took time before Naiya actually left her homeland. The time she spent in the safari was one she would not forget, because it was tranquil and she began to understand more things. She also resided with another tribe who had made it out of the dangers of slavery. Their location was more inland and not near large land masses, so they were safe from ever being discovered. Naiya stayed with them in hopes of creating a home. They did take her, but they treated her like a god when she would rather have been treated like one of their own. The shaman explained to her that she was not part of the living anymore. Yes she was alive, but not exactly in a way that she would have wanted. Her time there was a few years, but then she left them as well. It seemed the spirit that had combined with hers was more solitary and liked to keep on its feet.

Even if this was a separate soul it had become a part of her now and its personality slowly became a part of hers. The kitsune never had spoken to her or given her any indication of what it really was. So the memories of its past life and how it had been formed came as a surprise the first night she fell asleep. They created more nightmares than anything else and it was dangerous for her to fall asleep most nights. She also began to feel very different in traits such as she barely felt hungered or tired. Maybe it was because she was building up more stamina, but she did not feel like a human anymore.

The years that passed seemed to have happened in a blink of an eye, because that is how the shadows worked. Naiya barely feels like she anymore because she had gained knowledge that she was never given. Her people were called barbarians and she does agree that they were different, but not barbarians or savages. The people who had taken her as their personal toy were the savages. She has grown more involved in society, but as a mischievous creature. There have been warning signs about these other souls and otherworldly creatures, but she has ignored them up until now.

Rumors of other kitsunes as well have perked her interest, but time will tell until she finally meets them. For now she is just being herself, quite solitary and travelling in ways that she can. Yet the shadows long for the pain and suffering of that which is felt between war and death. Even if Naiya does not have a personal desire for it, she knew she will begin something that starts with the pain of someone else. It is only a matter of time before the shadows finally come to play.
