Bakudo: - #61 Rikujokoro (????, Six Rods Prison of Light) - #73 Tozansho (???, Inverse Mountain Crystal) - #79 Kuyo Shibari (???, Nine Sunlight Traps)
Hadou: - #54 Haien (??, Abolishing Flames) - #58 Tenran (??, Orchid Sky) - #63 Raikoho (???, Thunder Roar Cannon) - #73 Soren Sokatsui (?????, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down)
The day outside was particularly sunny, and the blue sky gave the scene an even more optimistic outlook. With this slight influence, Alder stepped out onto the plain grasslands, waiting patiently for Yamoto to come, the captain who had promised to teach him some Kidou. "Alright....here we go." He said confidently.
(Sorry...had to make it short. I have to go.)

The captain appeared on the field that the young vice captain had designated the training spot. "This is actually perfect." Yamoto spotted Alder in the distance and a smile appeared on his face. Another eager shinigami ready to learn. Except this one were learning some powerful spells. Yamoto walked up to the young shinigami and laughed. "Congratulations on the promotion Alder, and I must say you were very eager to use you new promotion to get more kido. I like that." Yamoto sat down on a rock to rest before the training began. "Alright which kido would you like to start with?"

(Alright. How do I apply to become a Kidou Instructor? There aren't any teachers in my squad, and, as the Vice Captain, I feel that there should be at least one Kidou teacher in each squad. With the Kidou I'm learning now, I should be able to teach everyone adequately, even Mock. XD)
"Well, I learned a painful lesson a long time ago about not being readily equipped with Kidou." Alder said with a grin; he was already liking this captain, and it seemed that this very same man approved of his drive to learn Kidou. "Anyway...I think I'll get the Bakudo out of the way first. Let's start with Number Sixty One." The Vice Captain said with a chuckle; this had been one of those Kidou that had taught him a painful lesson before. As an Eighth Seat he couldn't do anything against this certain spell, and was left helpless against a blow directly to his chest. The strike knocked him unconscious, and gave the victory to his opponent. "Unfortunately, I think that my favorite Kidou is beyond my reach. Bakudo Number Eighty One....I've heard about it, but I've only seen it a couple of times." He delved into the mysterious Kidou for only a few moments before snapping back into awareness. "Anyway, let's get started, shall we?" Alder asked politely.

Yamoto smiled at Alder mention of his favorite kido. "Ah yes that kido has saved my life on many an occasion, but unfortunatly the rules state that any one under captain rank must have a captain's permission to learn any kido above 80." Yamoto sighed as this rule had two reason, one it was safety issue as ever spell above 80 was extremely dangerous, and the fact that most shinigami wouldn't have enough reiatsu to even try a spell in the 80 let alone 90. "Maybe after this training we can discuss 81."
Yamoto smiled as he walked over to a wooden dummy in the middle of the field. "It amazes me that we never run out of these things." Yamoto joked about this because he was the one that made them. "Alright Bakudo 61, one of my personal favorites. The key to this spell is reiatsu concentration, you have to focus your reiatsu in six different places at once and each place is rather far away from you. I'll demonstrate one rod at a time." Yamoto held up his right finger and pointed it towards the right of the dummy. Almost instantly you could see visible reiatsu in the air. Yamoto continued to do this until there were six reiatsu rods surrounding the target. "Now this technique would be useless if you had to do it this slow, but unfortunately that is how you have to learn. ""Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six. Bakudo 61. Six Rods Prison of Light."
As soon as Yamoto said the incantation the reiatsu surrounding the dummy glowed a bright yellow and almost instantly slammed into the wooden figure. "If they get trapped in this, it is over."

Alder's eyes practically lit on fire when he mentioned 'speaking' about the Kidou after the others were finished. This rekindled his spirits to a whole new level, and allowed him to really focus on this one. He awed at Yamoto's ability to easily recreate the Kidou, and hoped that, someday, he would be able to do the same. "Well....the way you started the Kidou....it's a lot like how I fire my Byakurai." The Vice Captain commented duly, now focusing entirely on the Kidou at hand. He aimed his left pointer and index finger to the right of a single dummy, and found only a slight swirling on his reiatsu in that area; he wasn't skimping out with the correct amount of reiatsu this time-he wasn't keeping it concentrated enough to form one of the rods. "I don't know about learning the Nineties in Kidou...to me, that seems to be a bit much. I'm just fine with learning just the eighties....Hadou Number Eighty Eight is as powerful a destructive spell as I aim to learn at this point." He silenced himself temporarily, as it required quite a bit of his concentration to form the single rod for now. Once he had the adequate amount of focus and reiatsu, it was fairly easy, and he'd be able to reproduce the effect much more quickly.

Slowly, but surely, the other rods began to take shape around the first one. "These are....a lot harder than they look." Alder said, chuckling at his slightly-better-than-average attempt at the Kidou. However, what he didn't know is that, inside, he had enough reiatsu to withstand these Kidou, and it would only be unlocked by intense usage of them. To himself, he only had an eighth seat's level of reiatsu, but, as his captain had noticed, his reiatsu levels had been growing quite a bit, and he now had the level of a Vice Captain, if not a bit more than usual. By now, the third rod had formed, and Alder was halfway through the shaping of the Kidou. "Unlike most Shinigami who do it once, and call it quits, I may redo the Kidou a few times to make sure I can perform it in an adequate amount of time." the Vice Captain muttered to himself and to Yamoto in his focus. Eventually, all six rods had formed, and it was taking quite a bit of Alder's concentration. "I'm going to have to dispell what I have now, and continue to reform the rods until I can form them almost as quickly as you can. The Kidou will never work if I can't perform it to a satisfactory level." Alder continued to speak while he worked at it, now on his third rod of the six. He'd nearly tripled his speed from using the Kidou once; at the point when he had the basic application of reiatsu and focus down, it became substantially easier. Now, the trick was to get it to a point where he didn't have to focus as much, and he could perform the technique more quickly than he normally would've been able to.
It took a long time; two hours at least, and it had taken a few rest breaks as well, but Alder eventually had the Kidou to a point where he could form it at a speed acceptable for its use. "Alright.....here we go..." He said boldly and clearly, already aiming his fingers at the wooden dummy. "Carriage of thunder, bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six. Bakudou Number Sixty One, Six Rods Prison of Light." He chanted the incantation as well for theatrics, and to view the full power of the spell. Almost immediately, the six rods formed, and slammed into the sides of the wooden dummy, immobilizing what would've been a living target, had it been an animated dummy. "Alright," He said, taking a deep breath, "I believe that Tozansho is next, yes?"

"Ah yes, another one that has saved me many times." Yamoto breathed in for a moment and slowly exhaled. "As youu know this is a barrier kido, so you have to use a lot of reiatsu to create it. You have to release the reiatsu around you and begin to form it into the shape of the barrier. This is the foundation for all barrier kido."
Yamoto walked away from where Alder was standing so he could get a good space to start the kido. "I am going to have use a lot of reiatsu to show you all the step, so I'm just warning you." Yamoto clasped his hand together and immediatly the ground began to break below him. The air around around Yamoto began to glow a faint gold color indicating the the captain reiatsu was mixing with the air. "After you feel like you have enough reiatsu, you can begin to form the barrier." Yamoto closed his eyes and started to imagine the barrier in his mind. He was so familiar with this kido that it was almost instinct for him now to automatically draw the barrier with out really thinking. However he had to slow his movement down when it came to teaching new people the spells. After a minute the reiatsu had taken shape around Yamoto and was now in the form of an upsiude down pyramid with encased the captain. "Finally you solidfy the reiatsu by saying the incantation. Bakudo 73. Inverse Mountain Crystal."
The reiatsu bacame a a blue solid around Yamoto causing the captain to be defended on all side by the kido. He waited a few moments so Alder to get the drift of the final product. Suddenly the barrier around Yamoto collasped freeing the captain from his defense. "Alright uyour turn."

"Alright, Tozansho...." Alder carefully inspected each and every movement Yamato made, to make sure that he didn't miss a thing when it came to reproducing the technique. Tozansho was clearly a tricky Kidou, and it would require a lot more patience and concentration than Number Sixty One. Imitating the captain, Alder pressed his palms together, immediately feeling the Reiatsu in between them. Unlike the Captain's display of power, the ground only cracked a little, since Alder hadn't put enough reiatsu in immediately, a flaw that still managed to haunt him. After placing in the adequate amount of energy, the ground cracked enough for the inverse pyramid shape of Tozansho to form. After a little while, Alder took the concept from Six Rods Prison of Light, and began to mix his reiatsu with the air around him, attempting to sculpt the same inverse pyramid shape that Yamoto had created with his reiatsu.

After a short bit of time, the air around Alder began to turn a dark purple hue. The move the Vice Captain concentrated, the more the reiatsu began to shape into the inverse pyramid that was his goal. Alder could feel the obvious drain in his reiatsu from using an attack of this scale, though he assumed that using it more quickly would yield a lesser impact on his reiatsu reserves; he was correct. By taking the technique slowly, he'd already used nearly twice as much reiatsu as it would normally take to use it once at the adequate time and amount of effort. As the pyramid was at its top shape and form, Alder chanted, "Bakudo Number Seventy Three.....Tozansho." The barrier quickly erected itself around him, proving an absolute defense to many of the kidou and attacks that he'd previously encountered. However, the Vice Captain then dispelled the barrier, and formed it again, this time, taking significantly less time than before. He could also easily tell that, in performing it so much more quickly, that it took about half of what he'd used earlier. "Alright.....I believe that Number Seventy Nine is the last one."

(Okay....just what does Number 79 do, anyway? It always confused me.)

(It basically traps the target is a spitiual balck hole thingy ma bob................ I am going to have to do it in the air too)
"Alright this bakudo is designed to suspend the target motionless. It is the basic principle as 61, but instead of rod uyou will be making circles with you reiatsu." Yamoto grabbed the nearest wooden dummy near him and threw up the air. "Concentrate you reiatsu in this formation, three circles to the right, left and above the target's head, three circles to the right, left and below the target's feet, two cricles to the right and left of the target chest, and the final circle in the middle of the target chest. The spell will cause each circle to pull of the one around it trapping the target in the middle. Like so." Yamoto raised his hand and aimed it towards the falliung dummy. He didn't really have to demonstrate every circle this time because Alder had already mastered the principle. "Bakudo 79. Nine Suunlight Traps." Immediatly the dummy stopped in midair as 9 large black holes appeared in the position Yamoto had specified.
As you can see it is a very strong bakudo, and in combinatuion with a few other spells you target would be dead in a matter of moments.

"Oooh....that looks like fun." Alder said with a laugh. He really wasn't too worried about this one; he'd already learned the concept of shaping his reiatsu in areas outside his body, so mastering this one would probably be easier than Tozansho and Six Rod Prison of Light. It would also mean that-ultimately-he wouldn't have to spend as much time on it. In the beginning, he formed two of the nine black holes straightaway, without any difficulty. Spreading that effect 4.5 times would be difficult, but not as bad as the other Bakudo he'd learned today. "Alright....here we go..." He muttered to himself, readying himself for the task at hand. After this, he'd learn four high level Hadou, something that he truly did need if he wanted to be on a slightly more equal level with his captain. It was his goal to become a Kidou instructor, and teach his own captain the Kidou he learned here. Hopefully, with this, that dream would come true.
(1/2)
Very quickly, Alder learned to form all nine black holes of reiatsu. With a bit more practice, he'd be able to-hopefully-throw the dummy into the air, and perform the Kidou just as Yamato specified. "The Kidou itself isn't hard....the only difficult part for me was forming the nine black holes at the same time, which, in all reality, wasn't that hard at all." He said, chuckling slightly as he tightly gripped the arm of the wooden dummy. With one throw, it was high enough into the air where he could use the Kidou. He extended his left palm, and chanted the spell's name. "Bakudo Number Seventy Nine....Nine Sunlight Traps." As quickly as the Vice Captain had chanted the name, the nine familiar black holes formed around and at the wooden dummy, completely immobilizing it in the middle of the air. For theatrics, Alder took a comedic bow, and waited patiently for Yamato's next instruction.

Yamoto smiled at the vice captain progress this far. "Very well the key this next kido is the idea of reiatsu rotation. Now the best way to perform this spell is the channel your reiatsu into to something that can rotate easily. Yamoto pulled out his zanpakuto and showed it to Alder. "This is your best bet in a battle." Yamoto held his zanpakuto infront of him. "First you must focus reiatsu into the sword until it has enough to support itself in midair." Yamoto allowed reiatsu to flow into his blade, so much show that the reiatsu complelty consumed the zanpakuto. Yamoto removed his hand from the blade to demonstrate that the reiatsu in the blade was keeping it levitated. After you do this you simple spin the blade in the direction you want it to go." Yamoto flicked the blade to the right causing it to spin. Each rotation the speed increased until the zapakuto was just a spinning blur. If you use your reiatsu as a boost to keep the blade spinning it works better. "Finally you activate the spell. Hado 58. Orchid Sky." Yamoto stopped the blade by grabbing the hilt. All the reiatsu is released out the zanpakuto in the form of a giant whirlwind that was directed at nowhere. "That should do it."

"It appears to be simple enough...." Alder mumbled to himself as he examined Yamoto's usage of the Kidou. "Really, that could also be used defensively if the need came....." At this point, the Vice Captain was more about observing the Kidou than actually using it. Of all the Kidou he'd learned to do, this would probably be one of the easier ones to grasp. However, he couldn't be sure until the Vice actually attempted the Kidou. After moving his right hand to his waist, Alder drew his rapier. The Squad Five captain may have been unimpressed by its small size, but Alder knew that the power behind his Shikai would more than make up for it. He held his rapier into the air by the hilt, and focused reiatsu into the blade; this was a simple task for him; his Shikai was entirely based on focusing and firing Reiatsu from many weapons at once, so focusing energy into one was almost as easy as breathing. Once Alder felt he had the correct amount, he released his hand; the blade floated in the air.
(1/2)
Now, with the Kidou's first half complete, Alder need only perform the rest. He tapped the rapier so that it would begin to spin counterclockwise. As he applied more reiatsu to the attack, the blade spun more and more rapidly. As soon as the Zanpakuto was little more than a blur, Alder chanted the words, "Hadou Number Fifty Eight, Tenran." With expert timing, he gripped his Zanpakuto from the whirlwind, halting it immediately. The Hadou erupted from the end, and took the form of a large, tornado shaped blast of wind and Kidou. The attack soared straight into the air, and vanished into nothingness as soon as it got out of Alder's reiatsu range. Now, Alder only had three Kidou left to learn for this particular session. However, he still had another seven left until he leaned all the techniques that he could at his level.
