Unlike how it was with some of her classes, today Tizzy's room was a mess. There was a huge opened up car in the middle of it and she wore overalls over her usual white labcoat. There were tools all set up and she intended to teach this boy visiting a good deal more about mechanics than he ever though existed. Because they weren't repairing this car - they were going to make it fly.

Taylor walked into the assigned classroom, peered around and then laughed. They were going to teach him to fix cars?Well he didn't know everything about that just yet so why the heck not, the pride spawn was game. " Hello there." he flashed his teacher a grin.

Tizzy waved a bit. "Good day, Taylor." she already knew his name from the records. "I understand you have experience with automotive mechanics. We will be branching out on that today."

"Time traveling car?" the boy suggested jokingly although part of him was actually excited about the thought of that. Oh man if he could travel into the past of the future with something as subtle as a car, the things he could do, things he could know about in advance or change in the past. Still the pride spawn smiled politely as he walked further into the room eager to get his hands dirty. He didn't want the teacher to get the impression he wasn't serious.

"Close. Flying car." she stated calmly, showing him a few of the parts they'd be working on and testing in this new vehicle. "You're still young yet to be working on anything that travels through time."

Taylor nodded, "Still sounds pretty neat." he wondered if he;d get to keep the car after even though he wasn't nearly old enough to drive yet. " What do you want me to do first?" The spawn tapped the end of his pebbly skinned tail on the ground impatiently as he waited for an answer, this was a way more interesting lesson than last time. Not that the other hadn't been important as well, without that he'd probably still be tripping all over stuff and beating himself up for the things he wasn't yet strong enough to do.

"First we will begin with an examination of the tools we'll be using and what they are for. I am not referring to basic ones, such as wrenches and screwdrivers - I should think you a very shoddy mechanic if you didn't understand those already. We will be discussing more important tools, such as laser torches."
Tizzy laid out the new items on a small table before Taylor, saying the names and having him try to pick out which was which. She would then tell him the correct answer after a few guesses if he wasn't right, and explain its purpose.

Taylor enjoyed this immensely, sometimes guessing based on shape and size what the tool might be capable of being and sometimes the spawn had no clue. His fingers practically itched to use them and his mind raced at all he could actually make now with these sorts of things. Ha so many previously impossible projects were open to him now . "Where did you buy these and how expensive were they?" he asked curiously. He'd probably have to go to some sort of high tech supply store for them and they'd probably cost a months worth of allowance but hey it was worth it.

"I made them. They will be your reward for satisfactorily completing the lesson. I will not be allowing you to keep the car." Tizzy stated calmly as if this were a totally normal occurrence. Well really, what did she need with them after this? These tools were way more crude than the ones she used for repairs.
"Now we will be going over the parts we'll be working with." she said, taking him to a large white sheet on the ground with the parts laid out. Once again it was time to guess.
