Strange, these children with their living appendages. It was an interesting experience having to teach them. The one coming today was said to have four tentacles - wouldn't that be interesting?
Tizzy's classroom was mostly blank today, featuring only her and a red bouncy ball that hung on a string stuck to a pole in her hand. She had plans to train this little spawn to use his tentacles. And this was all she'd need.

Sandy slipped out of their father's car and headed towards the once familiar building that was the facility. The young spawn was excited to have their very first lesson that wasn't being taught by their parent. Sandy had no idea what they were to learn but the child was sure it would be interesting.
Following the directions given by several friendly staff members the tawny haired child eventually made it to the classroom they were supposed to learn in. Green eyes widened at the bareness of the place. " Umm..." Now Sandy was just confused. None of the spawn's four tentacles had a clue what was going on either and wiggled in uncertainty.

"Good day." came the greeting from the tall woman with her wild, electric hair. "You are Sandy, I believe?" her tone was calm, but mono, and her expression a little fake - thought not in the insincere sense. Fake as in she didn't look totally human.
"I am Tizzy."

Sandy nodded " It's nice to meet you Miss Tizzy." the child looked around again " Um what am I supposed to be learning today?"

"Control." she stated calmly, dangling the red ball over his head so the two tinier tentacles could reach for it. "You lack full control over your tentacles. I intend to help you with that." it was a simple enough task really, easy to understand and easy to follow along with. The hard part would be on his end.

Alpha and Omega flailed and tried to bat at the ball, Alpha to play with it and Omega becuase it didn't particularly want the ball hovering over it like that.
Sandy blinked then nodded "Okay, but how?" The spawn could feel their tentacles and feel the muscles in them if they cramped but they'd never really figured out how to make those muscles move how they wanted them too.

"By concentrating and enforcing your will upon them. They're a part of you and as the host, you are dominant." she explained, holding the ball out now just where his larger tentacles could barely reach for it. "You must let yourself gain control over your body and the will of your parts or it will come back to bite you, as the saying would go."

Sandy was not thrilled at the idea of biting tentacles or well the idea that not training them would hurt later. They nodded and tried to focus on at least one tentacle, becuase all four was too hard, the spawn chose Epsilon and imagined invisible hands pushing the golden limb away from the ball and off to the side instead. Go, Sandy whispered in their mind, go over there for now.
Epsilon gave an indignant wave like ripple but moved over a few inches, not totally to the side but it was something.

Tizzy watched in what had to be amusement for her kind. "Your goal is to get enough control over them that if I hold the ball out close to you and say the name of one tentacle, you can force that one and only that one to go for it. If they respond to their names, however, we can have you deciding which to use and willing the others not to."

" Okay," Sandy agreed "and they do pay attention if their names are said" the spawn gave a quirky little half smile at that."They're very proud." Proud and quite distinct in their likes and dislikes once you got to know them. Still, Sandy looked forward to being able to move them at will should the child actually feel the need to do so.

"Very interesting. Isn't that the opposite of your given virtue?" Tizzy inquired, mostly making conversation as she bounced the ball a bit on the string.
