That's right, we aren't.
Several people have stated within threads that they Hate the VG Paladins.
Why? I do not know.
But someone put forward they were going to 'Topple us'.
Your opinions, please.
Do we come across as [the GD term] - 'Prommie'?

People don't like us because they think we try too hard to be mods. The funny part is, these are the same kinds of people that complain about the crappy job the mods are doing.
I straightened them out, I think. After I told them why all the Rockets got banned, they were less chastizing of us.

I recall Nights Chao not liking us, but that has seemed to pass. The only other time is when that team rocket group started to fall.
The only people that don't like us are the people that just continueously fail to understand what they're doing wrong, and why we do what we do. Nothing could be done(including not reporting topics) and the VGD could possibly be worse off. In a manner of speaking we're a bit obsessive, but at least we're not the flaming lurkers you see on other forums(or even in thet VGD).

If they don't like us, it's either because
A) They don't understand us, therefore are scared,
or
B) They understand us, and couldn't get in.

I think that this "hate" is mainley because they do not understand out motives and intentions..... or simply are upset because in their pride they do not want to be corrected by people, even if they are wrong.

Even in the GD I was told that I was disliked becasue of the Paladin affiliation.
He gave no reasons, but left it at that...though the discussion was on "why I feel like I should report misplaced posts in GD even though the forum is *general* discussion."
He said I "ruined good topics" for him and that he hated the VGD so that's why he'd rather have gaming topics in GD.

as I said... my honest opinion is that this so called hate... is simply becuase people dislike havign their pride hurt, they don't like being informed that a thread is misplaced no matter how polite or friendly the informant is
they "hate" us for being the messengers...... and ignore the fact that they ingored the rules

Actually, I think the reason why people don't like us all too much is much more simple. The majority of users on this website are children, and being so, they do not like to be corrected. I believe that many of them think of this as their sandbox, they think they can do whatever they want and talk about whatever they want and when we step in and tell them they got it all wrong, they get upset. Adults, or at least mature teens can take criticism politely. It's just a case of pampered, stubborn children being straightened out.
