Near the main field Snow made her way carefully and at a slow pace to get to the river that snaked it's way through the fields. Snow had somehow gotten her very upset and very new little brother to come with her to the river; with the promise of showing him something super amazing and awesome. She smiled to herself; wanting to see him smile too... She wondered what would be the thing to make him smile most... something big and scary maybe? Maybe a bear! She'd only ever seen a bear once.... And she'd been too afraid to get anywhere near it....
Or maybe... She knew suddenly what she wanted to do. She would make her brother himself. She giggled to herself excitedly as the two of them continued on; it wasn't that far away; but she still didn't want to walk to fast; she didn't want to leave him behind or anything. She wanted him to know... just how much she cared about him; how much she loved him; and how happy she wanted him to be.
"Come on Bron~ you're going to love this. This is the best thing ever I bet you <3" She said excitedly trotting around him excitedly in a circle before nuzzling him gently again. She liked to nuzzle him; even if he sometimes didn't... It made her happy; like she was really helping to take care of him.

Bron did his best to shy away from her nuzzle as little as possible, but it was hard for him. He was still coming to terms with what he felt, and what he was supposed to feel. He knew that normally an affectionate nuzzle is something to cherish, and enjoy, but he couldn't do that yet.
"W-where are we going anyway?" 'Be nice to her Bron,' he thought to himself. 'You can't get away with being a total jackass forever.'

Snow was just a nuzzler. Something she loved to do <3; to her it showed affection in the best sort of ways and gave comfort in the most genuine way as well. But she knew that some herla were not nuzzle herla; her friend Calix for instance wasn't a nuzzler, and she was ok with that. Had Bron shown some signs of being awkwarded out by her nuzzles... well... he was her little brother so she would have still nuzzled him anyways becuase family is totally different.
She smiled at how nice he was trying to be; even if it looked like it was hurting him to do so... She laughed and walked closer to the water. "We're going to the lake!" She told him excitedly. "Mom has only ever taken you to the glen but I think you're going to like the lake a lot too!" She told him happily nodding her head.
Just a few more feet and there she was at the edges of the water; she stepped into it daintily and turned around to look at him seriously. "Close your eyes Bron." she told him sternly, trying to act like a big sister should act! Tough!
She looked down at the water and focused really hard; closing her eyes for a minute as she visualized Bron. She started to push the water up, freezing it as she went. Until finally, it was in the shape of her little brother. It wasn't as big as he was because that would have probably made her pass out! But it was up to his waist at least with a good solid stand of ice beneath the models hooves so it was up and out of the water.

Yes Bron was uncomfortable, but this wasn't anything new to him. "The lake? But...why?" Questioning this idea, as he wasn't sure what fun a lake could hold. But it was making Snow happy, and she was his sister, what else could he do?
Watching her step out into the water, Bron couldn't help but get a little nervous. "You can swim right? Cause I don't know if I could save you... My bandages aren't supposed to get wet." His attempt at a joke, lame, he knew.
"My eyes? I'll give you one, the other is lost in the forest." Closes his eye, wondering what the heck she could be doing. He didn't like being unaware of his surroundings like this, but of course he trusted his sister to tell him if there was danger nearby.

Snow smiled and bounced around when she was done with the sculpture; having ignored most of what he'd said. She moved over to his side and nuzzled into him lightly. "ok look Bron!" She told him excitedly; wanting to see the look on his face from the side with the good eye.
"This is why I wanted to bring you to the lake!" She said excitedly; her voice giggling as she did so. "A lot of people think those are really pretty." She explained to him. "And I just wanted to let you know Bron; that you're a perfect piece of artwork in my eyes." She told him smiling widely and nuzzling him again. "And that you're my brother and I love you."
She lifted her head and continued to look at the statue tilting her head slightly before looking back down at Bron. "But you know... No big deal right?" She asked trying to not seem so girly; so that her brother would look up to her. "Want to go play a game?"

Bron tried not to cringe away from her nuzzle, he knew he needed to learn to deal with other people touching him. It was just hard, especially with his eye closed. As he inched his eyelid up, he couldn't help but ask again. "What are you doing..." His voice trailing off as he looked onto the surface of the lake and saw...himself? "What the...?" His eye wide as he took a step forward to see it better.
"Y-you did this Snow?" He asked, his voice full of wonder as she bounced around excitedly. Another step led him to the edge of the water, mere inches away from this...sculpture. He couldn't believe Snow created this. How did she do it?
Bron leaned closer to it, leaning over the water in an attempt to see it better. 'She thinks I'm...perfect?' He thought to himself as he listened to her talk. 'I-I should try harder. She did this, just for me." He told himself as she nuzzled him again, though this time there was barely any flinch to go along with it. "Snow, you're amazing." He turned to look at her, his eye brighter than it's been in a long time.

"Of course I did this silly." Snow laughed lightly. No one ever beleived her when she told them that yes she had. She watched him with a wide smile on her muzzle as he walked up to the sculpture. But she stayed where she was. Just watching him enjoy it. It made her happy to think that she could have done something interesting for her little brother.
But when he called her amazing her eyes watered up and she shook her head pressing her forehead to his. "nooooo." she cooed to her little brother. "I just make things cold. You're the amazing one. I'm not strong like you are Bron <3"
She told him truthfully just wanting to encase him in a herla like hug. "When I grow up little brother I hope I'm as strong as you are."

"Well... I hope you realize just how awesome this is Snow." He emphasized, really wanting her to know how fantastic this power was. He certainly couldn't do things like this, and he didn't know anyone else that could. Bron looked away from the sculpture and gave Snow one of the biggest smiles he had ever had, definitely more of an emotion than she had ever seen out of him before.
Accepting the gentle headbutt with barely a flinch Bron listened to Snow tell him how strong he was again. "Thank you Snow...but you're strong too. You know that right?" He looks down, and scuffs at the mud on the pond's edge. "I-I know I haven't been the easiest to be around, but really... You've been so nice to me, and so patient." Still looking away because he was too embarrassed to meet her eyes right now, he had been a brat before, but it was different now. "You and Lumi and Chalice were there for me when I tried to chase you all away. You met my harsh words with love and my anger with kindness." Bron's eye was tearing up just a little, so he turned his face away from her so she wouldn't see that traitorous drop. "Really Snow... That the kind of strong I want to have when I grow up.

Snow met his smile with one of her own, here eyes shimmering and shining lightly as she looked at the rarity that graced his features. It was nice to see him smile like that; she just wished that their mother could see it too. Could hear what he was saying as well. She would have loved it. Honestly it would have probably made Lumi cry though... it even brought a tear or two to her own face.
She let out a small laugh though; when he said he wanted to be strong like that. "Oh Bron; that's not strength. That's love. You're my brother; and I love you. It's hard not to love you." She told him very seriously but in a gentle tone. "That's just what family does for each other Bron. The moment me and Chalice found you I knew you were gonna be our family. Whether mom decided to take care of you or not. So what if you're a brat every now and then. What little brother isn't?" She asked laughing lightly; even though she didn't know many herla with little brothers.
"Strength is what made me not cry when you were mean to us. But it was the love that made me not get angry with you; that made me understand why you were so upset." She licked the back of his ear even though becuase she was so small he was almost her size... he was so close to being a yearling; he would be giant she could tell. "Just listens to all the things mom tells you; and watch how she treats others; how she treats us too; and you'll be that kind of strong in no time. I promise."

Bron smiled at her, attempting to hide his bitterness. "Family?" he huffed out a half laugh," You, mo-Lumi and Chalice are my family now...aren't you?" Shakes his head, trying to associate the word with new feelings, instead of the old.
"I-I love you too Snow." New to this whole 'love' thing, and trying not to be awkward about it. "And i'll try to tone down the brattiness... Though I can't promise everything." His smile genuine as he uses humor to make it past the weird love stuff. "Thank you Snow," stepping closer to her, giving an affectionate nuzzle, "for bringing me here today." Looking back out to the frozen sculpture of himself. "Really... It was... it was nice." Nice is what he said, but Snow can hear the echo of the word "Awesome" in the undertone of his words.

Snow didn't frown when he used that tone of voice to say the word family. She knew he didn't want to associate them with the bad things he felt about his blood family. But just the fact that he even admitted that they were his family was really amazing. She laughed lightly, shaking her head and getting a bit of the hair out of her eyes. She watched as he told her he loved her back, and it filled her with a warm fuzzy feeling. She giggled and nosed at his shoulder a few times, a bit rough as if she was trying to playfully push him.
"Aw c'mon Bron~" She teased not wanting to have him get embarrassed or anything. "You're making me blush brother~" She giggled bumping against him as she trotted a few steps away from him. "How about you and I go find mom? And we'll pester her until she goes on a walk with us?"
She offered over her shoulder, thinking that it sounded like a really nice idea.
