Full Name: Virgil Sloane
(He claims he once had another name, but will not reveal it, saying only that Erik would be unable to pronouce it.)
Meaning: Unknown
Age- Child
Nicknames: None, if you address him by any other name than Virgil, he'll ignore you completely. In private, Erik calls him "Virge".
Personality: Virgil is a quiet child, and when he speaks, he sounds like an adult. He has a serious, melancholy tone to him. He is extremely protective of his younger brother, Dante, and seems to have certain memories of a darker past. Erik hopes the boy will warm up to him soon; that doesn't seem at all likely as of now. Virgil seems to view the adult as a threat.
He tends to be creative when given a paintbrush or a pencil, prefering poetry to all other forms of writing. He is rarely seen without a book; and rarely seen with a smile, unless he is by Dante's site.

Meaning: Unknown
Age- Toddler
Nicknames: Dannie ("Donnie")
Personality: A shy timid child who seems to have nightmares quite a bit of the time. So much that the toddler may have to be counseled for a phobia of sleeping. He is only comforted when Virgil is near, which, thankfully, is most of the time. Not even the dreamcatcher Erik placed in his room seems to help. He calls Virgil his guide and protector; and seems quite intelligent for a toddler his size. Like Virgil, Dante has a certain flare for creativity when he's not having nightmares. He likes to write and paint, unusual hobbies for a toddler.
He doesn't talk much. He doesn't seem to need to. Virgil seems to know whatever he's feeling at any given time. When Dante smiles, it tends to be a quavery, shy one that fits his personality.

Personality: Erik graduated from college with a master's degree in technology. That's about all he's good at. He prefers to avoid human contact, so went through schooling via the internet. Physically, he is the perfect image of your first class dweeb. He has short, thin hair, and thick wire framed glasses. He is skinny to a fault, his skin seems to have been bleached white by staring at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
As a child, Erik was rejected by his parents; leading him to discover that people aren't worth trusting. His father wanted him to be a football star. Even as a teenager, Erik wasn't quite up to the task. His mother had wanted a daughter, and so insisted that her son learn to cook. In both cases, he failed to give them what they wanted. In both cases, he was a disappointment to his parents. This made him strive to be a perfectionist and find something that would never judge him--computers.
Seeing as he doesn't socialize much, he has never had a love life. Well. Unless you count the girl in Florida who believed him to be a twenty year old body builder. Needless to say, when the girl found out what he really was, the short lived romantic interest died.
When the man speaks, he sounds like he's been reading out of a text book. Monotone. He seems to take pleasure in correcting people when they misspell words, or mispronounce them. He is a perfectionist to the very core. He may not accept having the responsibilty of taking care of children at first, but eventually he will warm up to them. He is in truth a kind but lonely man, who really hasn't been able to socialize much.
