Ella walked around the barrier of the Wasteland. Inside the barrier was a peaceful castle with numerous towns surrounding it. Beyond the barrier was the real Wasteland, a large dessert with no signs of life. Ella shuddered, remembering the time she was there. She shook her head and walked back towards the castle, she was almost late for a judgement, when she must travel to a few areas to find people who are banished.

"So what have we got today?" Ella asked her adviser.
"You must go to the the Mafia Mansion and Vampire Castle, today Your Majesty." the advisor said. "There aren't that many banished people today."
Ella sighed. The vampire kingdom was ok for her. She was friends with the vampire princess, Melrose, and years in the Wasteland tend to give its people very awful tasting and smelling blood. The Mafia Mansion, on the other hand, was different. The men gave her looks and the Mafia Boss, Zaire, was friendly, but was always looking for trouble when bored. Might as well go to the mansion and get it over with, Ella thought. She waved good-bye to her people and clapped her hands, a light enveloped her and disappeared with her.

She looked at the cell she was in and realized that she was sharing it with Odette. She smiled at Odette and noticed that the chains on them were gone. "Well, you can punch me now if you want to." she said with a soft chuckle. She needed something to lighten the mood or else she would break down and cry. She hated to look weak. She just wanted to get this done and over with. The truth must come out and she was going to accept any punishment she deserved. Then again, that's easier said than done. ❞▒▒▒ ๑ ۞ ๑▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

"Don't do that again or I will punch you," she grumbled then also chuckled softly, but she didn't even think about releasing Melrose.Victorian Princess

She chuckled at her comment and nodded. "I'll try, but I'm not making any promises." she said as she smiled and took in Odette's scent. She wanted to taste her blood and it was almost agonizing to be near her, but she wanted something much more than blood from her. Which made the pain bearable. ❞▒▒▒ ๑ ۞ ๑▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

"I'll be as careful as possible." she whispered to her as she leaned in closer. Her one arm wrapped around Odette's waist as her other hand caressed her cheek. She kissed her lips gently and was careful to make sure her fangs didn't get in the way. She reluctantly pulled away, though her arms wouldn't release her. She held Odette close again and sighed. "Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you. And I mean it. I'd end up like some bloodlust monster without you." she said as she forced back her tears. ❞▒▒▒ ๑ ۞ ๑▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒

Take time to realize that I am on your side. Odette blinked a few times, trying to register what had just happened. Once her mind had processed it, her face turned a soft pink color. She reached a small hand up and stroked Melrose's cheek with the back of her hand. "Then I'm glad we're together," she murmured, pecking the vampire quickly before wriggling free of her grasp and placing her skirt-covered bum on the grimey floor, looking expectantly up at Melrose with those innocent blue eyes.Victorian Princess

"I wonder how long we will be together thought. Once I tell the council the truth of what I've done, I don't think I'll be returning. I'll probably be stuck here for the rest of my immortal life." she said a bit dramatically. Melrose could be such a drama queen when she wanted to be, although she was quite serious this time.
