Darren knocked on her door holding his japanese book. He sighed waiting and looked around.

Opening the door, Shiki noticed Darren. "Hey Darren-san, how can I help you?"

He lifted up the book and smiled a bit. "You said you would help me anytime," he told her. "I brought some sweets and tea to bribe you," he chuckled holding up the bag.

Taking the bag, Shiki let him into her dorm. "You didn't have to bribe me. I did say I would help."

"I know," he shrugged. "I think i have to bribe people now since my friends are basically falling head over heels with others or just dont want me around anymore," he faked a chuckled before sitting on her couch.

"Come on not everyone must be like that? I bet they're just a bit to busy with love right now," Shiki laughed lightly at the comment as plopped herself onto the seat across from Darren. "So how about we start with the tutoring. what do you need help with?"

Looking at the book with him, Shiki asked, "Which parts do you not understand the most?"

"Is there like a seperate alphabet for girls and boys. I noticed that the boys and girls say the same word but just like its spelt different," he said.

"There isn't really a separate alphabet for boys and girls, it actually depends if its the masculine or feminine form of the word," explained Shiki.
(I don't really understand Japanese writing as well as Chinese writing so this might be wrong.)

"Oh," he wrote that down on a piece of paper. "That would make sense." He leaned back. "That's all i can think of right now," he said closing his book. "I feel like an idiot," he thought to himself, smiling.
