Keantha Kudebona sighed softly as she limped back to the high cave she had claimed as her home. Kurage had promised to help her protect little Xho, but the way she was growing...it wouldn't be long before the males began to notice the innocent cub. Kude could keep them away for now, but that was only if Xho stayed in the cave with her brothers, and what kind of life was that for an active youngster, locked away her whole life?
Shaking her head, the black and white lioness stared into the distance. She had to get Xho out of there..but how? Kude couldn't travel for long, and now that she was with her pride again she couldn't leave...but she couldn't subject her innocent daughter to the horrors that awaited her if the king noticed her either.

Seaki A vast body of water spread out before a male lion - he sat hunched over the shimmering mirror of the surface, staring upon his reflection. He frowned deeply - he would get his gift to work eventually, he thought. The dark face wavered with his every breath, and he shook his head. Mufasa threw is head up suddenly, as the wind blew ominously. He hated when the wind wove through his fur like that - it always meant that some great event was going to happen that he wasn't sure he wanted to be a part of. With a frown, he looked back down the the reflective surface that had suddenly stilled. The reflection didn't show his face, however, like it had before. Instead, appeared a hark female - one that he had seen before.

Keantha Kude suddenly shuddered as she felt someone watching her. She wasn't a seer herself...but she had been raised by a wise old seer who taught her many tricks. If this was coming to her now...it was coming for a reason. She set up slowly, glancing around to make sure she was alone before she spoke. "I do not know who you are...but if you have found me now then it is likely because the Gods are answering a desperate prayer. My name is Kudebona and I need your help. My daughter is.." She closed her eyes tightly as if in pain. "She is an innocent in a den with monsters. I cannot protect her much longer. If the gods have sent my prayer to you....help me save my child."

Seaki A voice whispered on the wind, but it chimed clearly in his ears as he watched the female's lips move with the words. His eyes flashed with recognition. "Kudebona," he whispered, breath moving across the water again. He ripped his body from the surface of water and began to run. He just ran, his feet moving across the odd terrains, and he felt he couldn't stop. He felt the pull, the direction Kudebona was in, the connection he felt ran deep, and he wouldn't stop until he found her.

Keantha It would be the dead of night, when something tugged at Kude's senses waking her from a dead sleep. Yawning, she immedatly glanced over to make sure her cubs where still sleeping. Adols that they were...all three of them still prefered to sleep in a big pile together. A tender smile tugged at her lips, when the feeling came again tugging her to her feet. Slipping silently out of the den, Kude limped towards the boundaries of the pride's lands. "Hello? Whose there? You are tresspasing on E-hda lands." It would be a strech for him to contect the sleek and healthy lioness with the wretched, half dead creature he had meet before.

Seaki He stared at the female for a moment, eyes shining ominously. He moved forward. "I was called to this place..." he told her tentatively, head lowered, relaying that he wasn't a threat. His addled mind twirled like leaves in the wind, not wanting to settled against the breeze. He frowned, not able to see the female, for the voice was clearly female, in the shroud of night. His body ached and his stomach clenched, for he didn't even stop to eat. "Are you the one who called me to this place?" he asked quietly.

Keantha Kude nodded at his question "I did, well my need did. I..." She frowned tilting her head as she moved forward to see him better. Her eyes widened with shock, "Fasa? You are a seer?"

Seaki Fasa shifted back, staring at the woman intently, her image clearing in his sight with the light from the dull moon, he could finally see the dark figure. Recognition dawned on ihm. "Kude..." he whispered lightly. He frowned. "Yes, I've been able to See since I was a child. My father made me realize my gift." He told her quietly, eyes shifting to check out the area now that his eyes adjusted to the moonlight

Keantha She chuckled faintly, though the sound wasn't very amused, it seem fate was finally showing her hand. "It is funny how things seem to work out. You save me one, and now when I am in desperate need again...here you are to save the day once more." Shaking her head she laid down to take the pressure of her bad leg. "You know you left me with more than just a meal Fasa."

Seaki "Did I?" He prompted gently, not knowing the answer. He didn't See anything about her since the message she needed to send to him. All of the visions he had were focused on the pride he now resided. He frowned.

Keantha She nodded with a soft smile, "You are a father Fasa. I bore three cubs not long after I found my way home. I was so near death that, their birth was nearly the end of us all. " She didn't have to tell him how close it had been, had Kurage not been there to midwife the suffering lioness.

Seaki Fasa flinched a bit. He hadn't meant anything to happen as such, it just did. He knew how weak she was. How weak she was, anyways, the cubs shouldn't have remained in her belly, and died within her. That made him feel even worse, when he even thought of it that way. "Kude, I'm sorry," he whispered in guilt. However, he knew just his apology wouldn't fix that he just planted his seed within her belly while she was weak then running off. He felt like an a**, honesly. "I'll do anything to make it up to you, and... and our children."

Keantha She smiled, " We survived. " A soft chuckles escaped as she thought of their children. "Your sons are smart a** bastards that have my nasty temper but...Xho." She sighed then, her orange eyes worried and scared, " She is too naive, too sweet and pure. She thinks everyone is as good as she is Fasa. And she is beautiful." She said it as if beauty was a curse...and perhaps it was. "Our king is a monster and if he sees her I can not stop him from taking her."

Seaki Mufasa gave a small frown. He wanted to apologize again, but hesitated against the temptations. He gave a small sigh and his brown eyes bore into her orange ones. "The best I can do," he started, "is to take her back to my own pride," he told the woman who bore his cubs.
He shook his mane a little. "I hold a high position, and will be able to ensure her safety," he felt the need to re-assure her, that he would be able to care for their daughter.

Keantha Her eyes closed tightly against the pain, she knew it would be the last time she ever saw her little girl again. "Then take her." She sighed softly giving him a gentle smile, "Come back tomorrow, just before dark and I can bring her to you. "
