The most of the Drunhild family had come to the Zoo, mostly at Puck's constant insistence about getting out to do something because he was bored and he didn't want to go by himself. The intention was, in Puck's mind, to spend time with the family but alas everyone scattered as soon as they got in because of some sort of weird conflict of who wanted to go see what first. The freshly grown spawn pouted a bit and then cheered up as he trotted his way over toward the penguins.
Eee pengies! He loved the pengies, "Hiiii pengies! You all look so pretty!" he cooed over at them. Ziiba waved at them while Niicht did the usual hiding behind the back of his host, such different and (at times) difficult tentacles.
Puck reached up and itched at his nose near where a bandaid lie. It seemed he'd grown clumsier since his growth but that was okay! With every fall he endured he learned how to correctly move his body in dance class! Hoolay bright sides!

" I wanted to see the camels" Sandy grumbled and kicked at the odd pebble and piece of trash on the walkways. "They even have a camel ride, it says so in the flyer." The child really wanted to know what it felt like to ride a camel, was it much different than the pony he'd ridden at the carnival the one time?
Tybalt sighed and ran a hand through his long red hair as he dragged the spawn behind him. " I told you, we are going to see them, but we're going to go in order of the sections and the arctic and antarctic stuff is near the beginning so it's easy to follow the patten then just run to what you want to see and have to double back." Sure that's how he'd done it as a kid was an adult now and saw the practicality of following the zoo layout. Plus it'd give him a chance to show Sandy things the child might otherwise pass by in a rush to get somewhere else.
Eventually they reached an area where penguins alternated between basking on rocks and slipping into the water built into their enclosure. Sandy ran forward and got as close as safety rails allowed, thoughts of camels temporarily banished from their mind. " They swim even faster in real life," the tawny haired child gushed in awe, even with Delta and Epsilon helping Sandy wasn't that fast. Alpha and Omega were kinda useless in the water usually just themselves in sand's hair or behind the spawn's ears. Still, Sandy had a special love for each of the four golden tentacles.

Puck gave a small giggle as he watched a set of penguins flop their flippers almost as if they were waving back at him and Ziiba. How nice of the pengies! He was practically bubbling hearts before some sort of gold colored movement caught his eye and he directed his gaze right toward it. Huh! They had tentacles like him, sort of. How neat!
Since he wasn't shy he moved over to the other child and their guardian with a bright and confident smile, though he stumbled a bit in his walking. He rose up his hand and waved, "Hiya! You have some pretty colors! You both do!" Puck chattered on guileless and friendly as ever. He loved colors so much they made everything so bright and friendly!
"You here to see the animals, yesyes?" He rubbed the back of his calf with a shoed foot as he gave them time to respond grinning from ear to ear.

Sandy's head snapped left upon being addressed and the spawn smiled in response to the compliment. All four of their tentacles waved merrily or at the least pointed their tips in the direction of other tentacled child, clearly interested in him. " Hi, yeah we're here to look at all the animals," Sandy replied with a nod " and even ride some of them." Because actually getting to touch the animals was way better than just looking at them as far as Sandy was concerned.
"You have interesting colourings too" Tybalt pointed out and gestured to the purple steaks in the child's dark hair "Are they natural?" He'd never heard of kids that young dying their hair but who knew, it could happen. All the while the man kept his grey eyes on the lookout for the guardians of the boy. The last thing Tybalt wanted after the mcdonalds kidnapping fiasco was someone to think he was stealing their kid. The young man was more than happy to talk to him but he tried not to get too close unless things look awkward.

"Oooh~! I came here with my family but we all got separated," Puck laughed and shrugged his shoulders while one tentacle waved about in the air excitedly with a mind of its own it seemed, the other one remained hidden behind his back. He lightly hopped from one foot to the other; one would think his clumsiness would make him less likely to move but that didn't seem the case. If he fell he just got up right away. "Oh yeah! I heard about the animal rides, that'll be fun."
He gazed up toward Tybalt and beamed happily, "Thanks! Yeah I've had these ever since I was little-little," Puck stopped hopping and swayed a bit from side to side. If he was worried about being stolen it didn't seem to show, "Oh yeah! I'm Puck, pleased to meet you."

Sandy had never met anyone quite as bouncy and chatty ad Puck In his life, still the shaggy haired spawn was quite interested in the other child. For all his energy Puck seemed really nice, not aggressive or bossy or anything that Sandy didn't like in people." Do people tease you becuase of your name?" They inquired curiously. "I get teased for being Sandy." Sandy didn't really understand why it was that sometimes other kids thought it was funny to push them into the sandbox or sprinkle sand on them simply becuase their name was Sandy Pucks seemed a lot more painful to have dropped on you or thrown at you by bullies.
Just thinking about the times when they got pushed around was enough to make Delta curl and uncurl angrily like someone clenching a fist. The tentacle was the most forward and reactionary, usually the one to strike back first at any bullies it could reach.
" Please to meet you too," Tybalt replied laughing a little at the child;s antics even if part of him sighed inwardly at Sandy's omission. There was nothing he could do to protect the kid from the idiocies of young children being well young children. " I'm Tybalt, can I ask you if you remember where you were when you were very small?" It was something of a longshot but Tybalt wondered if this other tentacled kid came from the same place Sandy had. They bore a small bit of resemblance to each other but not enough to be really sure.

Puck's face fell a bit when Sandy told him that he got teased for his name. As of yet Puck never got teased for his name for whatever reason the other kids in his dance class or any other situation didn't make fun off him. His expression took on one of concern and he tilted his head, "I'm sorry! That's not nice at all, everyone should be nice to each other," Puck murmured with his brow furrowed a bit. Why couldn't everyone be nice and just love each other like they should? It made everything so awful when everyone acted like mean-faces and kicked others around. "I like your name!"
He probably couldn't be mean to anyone if his life depended on it. That just settled it; he would try to be Sandy's friend!
His attention went briefly back to Tybalt as he tilted his head. Puck went still for a moment as he reached up and scratched at his nose where the band aid didn't cover. Where was he when he was very small? His two-toned eyes gazed upward as he replied, "I came from a lab-place-thing. Ummm..."
Puck remembered the place but the name of it escaped him, his Mommy even worked there as a teacher! Well, not recently because she had a new baby but yes she was a teacher!

"Thanks" Sandy grinned at the compliment, pleased that Puck thought their name was nice. The fact that it looked like Puck was maybe like them, but with different sorts of tentacles made the child even happier. Epsilon agreed and reached out in an attempt to snag the the metal coated limb that was hiding behind the dark haired boy's back. They were all nice here, no need to worry.
The redhead nodded " Sandy came from one two when they were very small," he replied calmly. He still couldn't be sure they were from the same place but the possibility was higher now. Tybalt resist rolling his eyes at the impulsive nature of Epsilon, he was long since used to it by now. Assuming Puck didn't react too badly to the sudden touching Tybalt figured he could ask the child to accompany them until he bumped into someone in his family again.

"No problem~," Puck replied with a large grin. He blinked a bit as he watched the other tentacle reach out toward Niicht who was hiding and almost tensed up a bit almost afraid that the stubborn tentacle would lash out at the invading, although well meaning, appendage of his new friend. Niicht resisted for a moment before it finally, grudgingly allowed itself to be coaxed out and waved a bit as if to say 'Hi, I guess.'
"Don't mind Niicht he's just grumpy stubborn," Puck said cheerfully before his attention to Tybalt once more and his eyes widened a bit, "Maybe it's the same place! Yah! 'Cause Sandy and I have some of the same things, which is pretty awesome!" The spawn let out a small gleeful sound as he hopped upon the balls of his feet. He couldn't help it! It was just incredibly exciting.
The other more friendly tentacle just continued to wave about at the air in a happy manner not really paying much attention to anything around it.

Sandy grinned at Puck's enthusiasm at maybe them both being from the facility. The spawn did look a little apologetic after a minute though and nodded to Niicht "I used to hide too," they admitted. Sometimes being ignored was just part of the humility blooded child's nature, other times they fervently wished for people to pass them by and so it happened. However Epsilon had been so excited Sandy hadn't even had a chance to stop them from reaching out in friendship.
Back in the exhibit one of the penguins let out a loud honking noise as it flapped it's flippers furiously. What it wanted was unknown but the noise was certainly unexpected.

Puck giggled lightly and nodded, "That one hides a lot and sometimes stops me from doing anything fun cause it's a fuddy-duddy," the boy said with a bit of a wrinkle of to his nose. He loved both of his tentacles but sometimes Niicht just was so boring. All it wanted to do was do quiet things and stuff. Eww. He startled a bit and looked toward the penguins and tilted his head a little, "I wonder what's wrong," he asked thoughtfully as he moved to face them and look around the area to try and see what was going on.
Had someone antagonized them? That would be terrible!
