Personality: Personality, to Jiko, is a façade; usually, s/he is channeling whatever personality suits the occasion. Occasionally, this persona will fail; Jiko shows tendencies toward a more curious and good nature. Because of h(is/er) upbringing, Jiko is something of a coward. S/he will not eagerly face confrontation, but prefers to wile h(er/is) way through it. When it comes to personal relationships though, Jiko is a stranger. S/he fears that h(is/er) gift will be taken advantage of, should that ever happen. Overall, Jiko is clever, adaptive, curious and shy.
Character Race Traits: Doppelgangers are a race created by powerful magic to be used for spying. They have the ability to transform their shape and color to suit a picture they have seen. This extends to voices, if heard, and personality, if observed carefully, but not to abilities or magic: A Doppelganger that looks like an orc is still as weak as an ordinary human. They can take all kinds of humanoid forms, but are unable to become anything else (like creatures or objects). They cannot change their clothes, so most Doppelgangers have an arsenal of costumes. Knowledge is important to a Doppelganger, so they usually know more than one language and pick up a lot of facts (not all useful). Lastly, all Doppelgangers are granted with an affinity for picking locks, purses, etc because of their created purpose. These are like spells, but they require energy and can only be used so many times in a day.
It is also said that some Doppelgangers can absorb abilities, although this would require years of experience and practice, neither of which Jiko currently has.

Description of Appearance: As stated before, Jiko can really look like anyone, to the degree of what s/he can see. However, s/he does have a few preferred forms: A small human girl with long, blond hair and big beautiful blue eyes; a vague old man with aged skin, brown eyes, and balding gray hair; a young elf with black hair, green eyes, and a lithe build (gender varies on whim). The latter s/he is most often, when s/he isn't in a mission.
Skill Set: Spell Blade
Weapons Carried: (On self usually) Two daggers and a handful of throwing knives. May depend on current disguise.
Signature Moves: Copy Signature Move: Can copy others' signature moves based on memorization. May only apply when using the same weapon, and when seen. It also does not copy all of the effects, such as anything magic, but merely duplicates the movement involved.
Background Story: Like most doppelgangers, s/he was created asexually by the magical splitting off of another Doppelganger by a mage (original Doppelgangers are rare and require immense power). S/he was born to the image of a little blond human girl, to be a playmate of another child. S/he was taught quickly to perform h(is/er) role, and was given a general education by the Creator Mage in just two years.
H(is/er) peaceful life did not last for very long. The playmate died from some sort of disease; The Creator Mage was accused of some crime, found guilty, and hanged. His assets were confiscated: his creations to be slaughtered. Jiko, as named by the child, only managed to survive by pretending to be the dead girl. S/he was taken to an orphanage, which s/he soon found distasteful and escaped from. S/he has been living on h(her/is) wits since then, stealing, acting, and spying as needed.
