Underated...I'd say Saosin. I didn't know a lot of people that knew them or even gave them a chance, but the i'd make them listen to Voices and they'd go gaga for them ^-^'
And Green Day's not overated >.<

I agree that green day is over rated.
I think ska bands in general are under rated. They are so happy and always pick up my mood!!

I'm probably going to piss people off if I list my overrated bands... But oh well. Green Day, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Nickelback, U2, Skillet, The Beatles (I absolutely love them, though, but they're still overrated).
Yeah, and I'm really bad at judging underrated bands because they're not underrated by me (duh). Also maybe they do have loads of fans, but just not where I am. Sooo, yeah. The most underrated bands are probably talented indie bands that I haven't even heard of yet, because they're just *that* underrated.

The most overrated bands I can think of are:
AC/DC
Lynyrd Skynyrd
The Beatles
Green Day
Falll Out Boy
Nickelback
and alothough I love 'em... Linkin Park
And I can't really think of too many bands that are underrated... sweatdrop
