There's two different types. God mod is what butercup said, but what APuckett means... God Mode is when your carecter pulls a weapon out of thin air and that isn't one of there powers, Or something in that form.

really? never heard of tht one. i know there's OP or over powered which is when ur character has waaay too much power and auto hitting which is when u dnt give the other person a chance to dodge or anything and just assume your attack landed. heart

God Moding is also when your character is something not easily killed. Your character usually must have at least one weakness...

All my characters usually have telekinesis. I walked the fine line between God Moding and being VERY strong...

But what ifs its an attack that automaticly hits but its not a actual hurting attack like what if its just a joke or a playful thing, as long as its with a friend and its not too extreme and it doesnt hurt at all?

if u say like u playfully punched yada yada in the arm thts fine but if u say like a spinning barrel kick to the chest knocking him out thus winning the fight thts auto hitting heart

God mod/God mode:
•Taking control of a character that is not yours.•
•Your character is impossible to defeat in action roleplay.•
•Your character is Mary Sued/Gary Stued.•
-(ex; see all, know all, be all, turn into all, seduce all, etc etc absolutely perfect in every way)-
•You add characters that are related to or have association with someone else's character•
-(without consent/prior notice)-
•Taking control of, not the character, of traits of the character that is not yours.•
•Unless you're the creator of the roleplay, you should not tell someone what to do. Ask nicely.•
examples
character control example
-Sarah aims her arrows at Bob and then releases-
-Arrows go through Bob and Bob jumps up and reaches into Sarah's chest and drags out her beating heart, squeezing the life out of it and killing her-
Example of getting back at someone:
Character trait example/All knowing
Player 1(a hitman): *Happens to be a super pretty girl - just the kind that Player 2's character likes* Hey baby.
Player 2: *Shoots in the head* Stupid assassin.
Other annoying things:
-Bob shot an arrow and killed Mary.(with or without consent)
-Mary comes back to life and kills Bob. (without consent)
Jane: Daisy walked over to talk to her best friend, who was standing by the jukebox.
Noob: Daisy immediately slapped her friend.
Jane: Stop godmoding my character!
You have no idea how many times my characters get controlled by newbs and when I do it back they get all p*ssy about it. I hate.
You shouldn't godmod AT ALL without player's consent.

if its something like that, I would assume yes you are allowed to hit, but in action/fighting roleplaying where its intense, I would not suggest saying you hit them directly, but rather 'tried to' or 'hoped to' or something.
