Anyone remember this game? It was technically made by MB, but under licence from GW. It was a board game for up to 4 players. 1 playing as the aliens controling a space hulk and the other 3 playing as power armoured marines. (Blood Angels, Imperial Fists and Ultramarines) You have to complete objectives to win. I think this game served as a simplifed version of Space Hulk.

Oh I remember this. Only ever played it once or twice. Still it was a fun game. I really should see if I can relocate it.

Even if bits are missing, you could conscript the remaining minitures to 40k.

Lol quite true. problem is going to be finding the board and the rules. If I can find that, more than likly I can find the bits.

Like this? I saw this article a little while ago, and it seems a bit similiar to what you were discussing.

Not quite. Here is what I mean.

To those who still play it, I recomend you hunt down a copy of White Dwarf 134. It has rules for taking terminators, scouts and playing an ork mob instead of marines. It also allows the alien player to make use of tyranid warriors and genestealer hybrids.

I'd apreciate it greatly if you would state which country version WD you are referring to, would save many a bother.

They need to shove all those damn rules hidden in WD's in the Chapter Approved book."I want to use Cypher in my Chaos army! ^_^" "Kay, the rules are in a magazine from three years ago."
"...what? crying "

I kind of "missed" Space Crusade, and went from Space Hulk to Advanced Space Crusade instead.

I really liked that its Combat Rules was kind of like Space Hulk, but also inclused Rules for so many other miniatures than those included.
I think it was its inherent Campaign Rules that dragged it down ....

Maybe i should make a seperate thread on ASC?

Nah, just keep it in here.

I've never played it, but would be interested to learn some of the rules.

Sadly, i don't remember much, except that it was quite alike Space Hulk, but with an eventually boring Campaign System, that was partially the basic of the Game.

Had they expanded the Combat Scenarios just slightly, and let the Campaign Rules be Optional, the game might have become more known, and more played, than Space Hulk ......

It might be possible to find somwwhere on GW's website, but i don't know where, i've gone another route, and made my own Games, inspired by Space Hulk and Advanced Space Crusade.
(I plan to post the Rules for those Games in this Guild Forum(I've already made a Topic with a Poll, but not yet posted any Rules ....... )
.................)

Our group has 2 old copies of it, but we rarely played the game vanilla; mostly we used the "Great Battles of the Imperium" fan-expansion for it (which had rules for just about every race/unit type), used some photocopied and laquered Advanced Space Crusade/Space Hulk/Tyranid Attack corridors and had some fun mass boarding actions.
