Today seemed to be going well so far for the young pup. Sitting on a large rock, Jua simply stared out at the open plains, with no notable landmarks.
He had been sleeping until just moments ago. A naturally lazy dog, like his father, Jua found that he would much rather curl up on a warm rock and sleep the day away than actually go out and play with his siblings. He even preferred sleep to his own twin brother on some days.
Even today, Ade had become bored when it was apparent that Jua was intent on sleeping rather than doing anything. But now that his nap was over, he was very bored. He didn't care to move, but he didn't really want to just sit and stay there, either.
What a dilemma.

Bounce, bounce. Bounce, bounce, bounce, BOUNCE!
Nyamana giggled gleefully as she found herself bouncing right on top of the spider, squashing it dead. Shuffling backwards, wrinkling her nose as she wiped off what was on her paw before moving forwards to inspect the remains, sniffing it carefully. Dead things had always fascinated her - usually she was more nocturnal, staying awake mostly at night, but she'd been unable to sleep today. A vulture had chased her for a bit, and now she was too full of adrenaline to even consider sleeping.
Spotting another spider, she didn't notice the other cub on a rock nearby as she proceeded to bounce after this spider too.

Sliding his eyes around, Jua decided to at least shift positions. Squishing around his little body, he eventually turned around, curling his tail back up on the rock. He yawned, debating sleep again, but there was a certain annoying feeling that wouldn't let him sleep.
As his boredom grew, he started to chew on his bottom lip. He looked around, squinting to try and find something that could take away his boredom and sleepiness. Eyes towards the horizon, a pale figure seemed to glow against the savannah backdrop. Looking down at his paws for a moment, he tried to think about how he was going to be able to leave his comfortable position.
Rolling off sideways, Jua grumbled as he hit the dirt. It wasn't a long fall, but it wasn't comfortable at all. But, now that he was down, he shifted his expression to a dull smile and padded towards the pale creature.

"Spiderrrrrrrrr!" Nyamana chanted as she bounced after it, only coming to a halt when it crawled under a rock. Lowering her front, wiggling her hind in the air, she batted at the rock, swiping it sideways...only to find the spider had disappeared.
Where had it gone!?
Once again, she didn't even notice Jua approaching, too busy trying to find the spider, digging into the dirt where she'd last seen it.

"A spider? Where?" Coming to a stop, Jua had overheard her chants. He wasn't....afraid of spiders, per say, he just...didn't like them.
Feeling his fur tingle a little, he didn't want to look like he was scared. He was a boy, after all, and boys weren't afraid of anything! "Why are you looking for it? Don't you think spiders are icky?" Didn't all girls think they were icky? His sisters weren't huge fans of insects, so why did she seem to be following this one? It seemed a tad odd to him, but he couldn't help but be intrigued by the odd girl.
"My name is Jua." He pawed at the ground, feeling a little odd that he had done all the talking so far.
