I had gotten Manga Studio 4 about a year ago, and even though I look up guides online, they NEVER help! Is there an easier way to draw without using your scanner or a tablet? gonk emo

Well, if you're not using a scanner or a tablet, that leaves you with a mouse (or touchpad). I've seen some pretty amazing art done with mouse before, such as these, but it takes some getting used to. You just have to practice everyday, drawing with a mouse, just like learning how to pick up a pencil for the first time and write with it.

I recommend getting a scanner though. You can get one for as cheap as $20, and you'll be able to share your work with the internet or digitally touch-up your artwork.

i agree with kupocake i used to use the mouse "touchpad " on my laptop before i even heard of a tablet lol so just practice practice practice and give yourself breaks every now and then

if you dont have a tablet then your better off drawing traditional. You can still use touchpad and such but
drawing with your finger onto a computer will never be the same as a tablet with an actual 'pen' like drawing tool.
I have manga studio ex4 and even now i still use photoshop
for screen tones, typing my font and such on my drawings and im a traditional artist. Your better off using a scanner and drawing by hand. smile
