Has anyone here played the snes harvest moon? I want to know if its good or not cause I'm about to buy it.

I have. You're buying it on virtual console right? Your default name will always be Jack though, and the plot takes after Harvest Moon 64 err.. Before Harvest Moon 64. You're a boy trying to relcaim your father's farm.
It's not very linear at all, the first few weeks I focused on getting my field ready and growing the cheapest things I could find in the shop. Also talking to the villagers and I occasionaly grab some flowers to give it to them.
After you get assembled; at least a chicken or two in your coop and a field of crops now you can do whatever you want. It's fairly open. I made my money pretty easily too XD
All in all, it's a worth while game one of my favorite HM.
