If you have been off and on with a guy for almost a year. He makes you happy but you cant help looking for other people because he always gets upset for stupid reasons... like my ex's picture was on my profile and it said how I used to love him.... I mean it sounds wrong but its no reason to be defensive if it says I used to love him and also he gets mad when Im around other guys and ask me alot of questions like who else is there... And I admit I cheated but he forgave me so should he still be so protective? I really used to love him but its hard when we keep braking up cause he doesnt trust me... BUT I trust him So should I call it quits for good? Or does he have reason to be skeptical?

Well, cheating is a psychological issue as much as a physical one. Mostly when a person, not you in general, but any one cheats they do it again, because they see something that they dont in their current partner.
When your friend said they forgave you; it doesnt mean they fully meant it, or maybe they were trying to convince themselves, it's hard for anyone to just be like; "Okay, what ever let's get lunch".
The real issue, I think, is that he is insecure and you cheating triggered the waves of his mixed feelings. The best thing I'd say is to just be there for him and show him that you're trust worthy, that you feel sincerely sorry and you really want you two to work out.

I think it's time for you to to go your separate ways. If he can't trust you, then you don't need that negative pulling you down.

Ok, you need to drop this kid once and for all. I know this because I've been in the exact same position as you are in. I was with the guy for a year and we kept breaking up and going back out. Here's some advice: 1- guys getting jealous is normal, just like girls get jealous. Guys can be sensitive and have low self esteem to think that someone would cheat on them. We all get like that sometimes. 2-fighting about little, stupid things during a relationship and breaking up over them is a mistake and after the breakup is realized as a mistake. Then one of the people in the relationship wants to get back together with the other person. And if this happens once, it'll happen again. Don't believe that all people learn from their mistakes. 3-if you admitt to him that you cheated, depending on what type of guy he is (considering that he freaked out about the picture of your ex on your profile, he's jealous), he should have shown a reaction. Anger, upset, jealousy, hurt, betrayal, etc. And since he didn't, that is a little odd. He should show concern, not just about the fact that he'd be protective, but that he had been betrayed. And apparently he didn't. 4- just because you trust him, doesn't mean you'll be with him forever. It might even mean that you need to move one. You wil find more people out there that you will learn to trust, but only a few that you'll trust with everything and you will fall in love with. You will fall in love many times before you finally find that one person that's right for you. You're still so/too young to have found that person. If you don't get out of this relationship now, you'll never convince yourself to. Just because you're not together doesn't mean you can't still be friends. You don't have to be a couple to enjoy each other's company and be together. I hope this helps smile
